BACKGROUND The Electronic Health Record (EHR) is the backbone of the integration of information to help physicians in making effective decisions in patient care. The adoption of E-health care system, Health Information Communication Technologies (HICT) and EHR is raising in Kuwait OBJECTIVE This study aims to (i) identify the factors associated with physician’s current use, satisfaction, and prevalence with EHRs (ii) assess the factors’ relative importance in terms of predicting current use, satisfaction and prevalence with EHRs. METHODS This study took place at a public hospital in 2019. Using an anonymous self-administered paper-based survey, two hundred and ninety-five physicians were recruited. The survey contained 35 statements and the Technology Acceptance Model was used as the theoretical framework to guide the survey development. The dependent variables were “Physicians' current use of EHR" and “Physicians’ Satisfaction with EHR.” The independent variables were the demographics factors, Length of use of EHR, training quality, perceptions of barriers toward using EHR, the EHR effect on physicians’ Work, and level of ease of EHR function. Descriptive analysis, followed by bivariate, and multivariate linear regression adjusted for demographics were conducted. RESULTS Among the 295 research participants, 75% indicated that they are currently using the EHR system. The effect that the EHR use had on physician’s work was the most significant predictor of physician’s satisfaction using EHR (β=.377, p=0.000), followed by the level of ease of EHR function and (β=.341, p=.00) and barriers to using EHR (β=.170, p=0.000). Regarding the prediction of the current use of EHR it was found that the perceptions of barriers to using EHR was the most significant predictor (β= .145, p=0.000) followed by the effect on physician’s work (β=.645, p=0.01) and length of EHR (β= .111, p=0.03). CONCLUSIONS In the promotion of EHR current use and related satisfaction, enhancing and promoting the positive effect of EHR use on the physicians’work while making the implementation of the EHR system as easy as possible by removing barriers seem to be key factors. CLINICALTRIAL Not applicable .

Within the rural context of our nation, education has largely been overlooked or ignored within the research. The predominant educational research focuses more upon larger urban areas with a distinct context. Training quality teacher educators within the context of a worldwide pandemic dismisses many established and traditional methods. In order to prepare our teacher candidates within this new context, our EPP revaluated its current practices. Innovation in teacher preparation is clearly at hand and is well within our reach if we use the pandemic as a springboard to reimagine a teaching force equipped to face any challenge and problem-solve to create the most effective learning environment for the students they teach. It is possible and doable and can sustain our public education system in ways that we thought impossible prior to the pandemic. It pushes us out of the rut we find ourselves within. The chapter address strategies to support preservice teachers in rural settings.

In real training, the training conditions are often undesirable, and the use of equipment is severely limited. These problems can be solved by virtual practical training, which breaks the limit of space, lowers the training cost, while ensuring the training quality. However, the existing methods work poorly in image reconstruction, because they fail to consider the fact that the environmental perception of actual scene is strongly regular by nature. Therefore, this paper investigates the three-dimensional (3D) image reconstruction for virtual talent training scene. Specifically, a fusion network model was deigned, and the deep-seated correlation between target detection and semantic segmentation was discussed for images shot in two-dimensional (2D) scenes, in order to enhance the extraction effect of image features. Next, the vertical and horizontal parallaxes of the scene were solved, and the depth-based virtual talent training scene was reconstructed three dimensionally, based on the continuity of scene depth. Finally, the proposed algorithm was proved effective through experiments.

A competency framework points out the requisite skills and knowledge of a particular occupation. A competence framework enables institutions to easily identify areas where remedial training may be required; thereby training quality and ultimately public safety could be improved also. This study was conducted to build up a competency framework for school psychologists in Vietnamese. 91 school psychologists, lecturers, and psychologists from Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong Province, Long An Province, Vinh Long Province, Can Tho Province in Vietnam participated in the survey process. The findings of our study showed that the competency framework for school psychologists in Vietnam includes three main components: (1) professional knowledge, (2) counseling skills, and (3) attitude and moral qualities.

University governance brings about the success of a university. Renovation of management in the direction of university governance will exert important influences to improve the training quality of the higher education system. The article presents the theoretical basis and research process related to university governance activities to promote education innovation. The study combined qualitative and quantitative research; the survey sample was 120 people, of which 44 were managers and 76 were lecturers and staff working at Saigon University. The article proposes university governance related to such elements as planning for the development of resources in the university, policy mechanisms, organization and leadership, and monitoring. The article clarifies the relationship between the components of university governance activities in the direction of a system approach to help universities manage their activities towards sustainable university governance.

Objective: To explore the application value of QR code electronic manuals in operating theater equipment management and training. Methods: The control group adopted the traditional management mode. Training was carried out before each device was put into use in the department. A unified operation process and a paper card manual for common faults were formulated and hung next to each device. For the observation group, the electronic manuals generated by the QR code were pasted on the operating theater equipment for management and training. The management and training effect was compared between the two groups. Results: The efficiency of equipment management and training using the QR code electronic manuals was significantly higher than that of traditional training, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).Conclusion: The QR code manuals are very effective in operating theater equipment management and training. They can be read and learned in time to improve the operating theater equipment utilization rate, accuracy rate, and equipment management and training quality.
