AbstractThe implementation of cooperative learning methods remains disparate in primary schools despite their widely recognised benefits. To explain this paradox, we first examined whether teachers’ inclination towards cooperative methods is motivated by their values. Second, we tested whether motivational connections between personal values and cooperative methods are undermined when conflictual values are activated in context. Study 1 demonstrated that pre-service teachers strongly endorsed self-transcendence (ST) values (expressing compatible motivations with cooperation) relative to self-enhancement (SE) values (expressing conflictual motivations with cooperation). Adherence to ST values was also positively associated with their beliefs and attitudes regarding cooperative methods. In Studies 2, 3 and 4, educational sciences students were experimentally exposed to different contexts, wherein ST, SE or neutral values were promoted. Our findings indicate that when SE values were emphasised in the context, the positive association between ST values and beliefs/attitudes regarding cooperative methods disappeared. Although the results of Study 4 regarding the intention to use cooperative methods were not statistically significant, the pattern was similar. Finally, Study 5 showed that primary school teachers’ ST values positively predicted the self-reported use of cooperative methods when they perceived their school to weakly endorse SE values, but not when they perceived it to strongly endorse them.

In today’s higher education, the development of competencies based on the needs of the labour market, the role of practical training and the application of student-centred teaching methods are becoming more and more important. A particularly important question in engineering education is which abilities and skills are important for an engineer in a rapidly changing, information-based society. Therefore, in addition to hard skills, the development of soft skills also plays an important role. Our research was aimed at mapping the competencies of engineering informatics students and determining development opportunities. The Hungarian version of the Big Five Questionnaire (BFQ) was used to examine the students’ personalities. The results of the research showed that the students’ soft skills must be developed – especially in the areas of openness, communication and cooperation. Students’ personality development can be facilitated by courses that focus on self-knowledge and self-esteem, as well as opportunities for cooperation, adaptation, building trust, empathy, and helpfulness. Cooperative methods, collaborative learning, the project method and problem-based learning can also play an important role in higher education.

The results showed that children's affective and cognitive abilities increased from cycle I to cycle II. This can be described as follows: Increasing the effectiveness of student learning outcomes in the use of cooperative methods in Civics learning increased from 70.66 to 79.00. Improved performance of students' attitudes and learning interest in the use of cooperative methods in Civics learning increased from 68.66 to 76.50. The requirements of job market nowdays put emphasys on the importance of emotional intelligence and social behaviour. This fact determines the educational requirements of future teachers. One offthe efficient ways for this is to use imp-roving and student focused methods. In this particular study we introduce a small part of the results of an experi-mental program that helped to acknowledge some of the cooperative methods and the improvement of soical skills among the participants. From 2015, by the ivolvement of more and more new students groups the students experienced using the methods, the effects of them and the individual use fo them during the pedagogy program. According to the results and feed-backs we can that we got the following result like the imporvement of social skills, the usage of these skills in the future, the need of getting to know new methods and the deeper connection towards students. Prior methodological knowledge and the measurement of participants' social skills are the subject of another study. Here, attitudes and opinions about joint work and changes, as well as some aspects of the development of social compe-tence, are summarized.

Introduction: Trauma is the leading cause of mortality and disability in the countries. How to deal with a traumatic patient is one of the most important things and the individuals need to learn about it. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of problem-based education on improving the performance of medical trainees in the management of trauma patients, and identify students’ skills status in order to advance educational goals; and thus increase community health. Methods: In this randomized clinical trial, 76 Medical students were randomly divided into two intervention and control groups. Student performances were evaluated using standard checklists as a pre-test and post-test assigned. descriptive and statistical analysis of the acquired data was done using SPSS 20 software; and the parametric and non- parametric tests were used for thestatistical analysis. Results: There was no statistically significant difference in age at 23 years (P = 0.422). In terms of sex distribution, there was also no statistical difference (P = 0.212). The scores in the intervention group were higher than in the control group, but no statistically significant difference was observed between the two groups. Conclusion: The results show that student-centered and cooperative methods have a greater impact on students’ learning than lecturing. On the other hand, one should know that learning problem-solving itself has many limitations and problems with implementation.

The subject. The article is devoted to different methods of constitutional conflicts resolution, classification of constitutional conflicts, genesis of constitutional conflict diagnostics theory as a system of different measures for constitutional conflicts prevention. The purpose of the article is to confirm or disprove hypothesis that methods of constitutional conflicts resolution and prevention may be classified by different bases. The methodology of the study includes general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, description) as well as sociological and economic approaches. The main results and scope of their application. The author describes different groups of conflict resolution methods, it’s types and system. The optimal way to resolve the constitutional conflict is systematic application of the following principles: 1) the legality of measures; 2) priority of human and civil rights and freedoms; 3) ultimo ratio (last resort); 4) proportionality of measures; 5) the effectiveness of measures, aimed at resolving the constitutional conflict. Conclusions. Constitutional conflicts are resolved by special legal methods. Depending on the enforceability of such methods for the conflicting parties, such methods can be classified into: - enforcement methods, that are based on the constitutional power of legal enforcement to be applied to one side of the conflict by the other party or by the actor of the constitutional-legal conflict (measures of constitutional enforcement, the mechanism of checks and balances); - cooperative methods, which are understood as mechanisms for resolving constitutional conflicts, enshrined in the norms of constitutional law and based on cooperation, mutual assistance of the parties to the conflict on a parity basis (various forms of coordination, such as negotiations, mediation, conciliation). Methods and mechanisms of conflicts prevention are not the part of methods of resolving constitutional conflicts, since the first methods are applied before the appearance of constitutional and legal conflicts. A constitutional conflict diagnostics as a method of constitutional conflict prevention is based on risk management system and represents a system of legal and organizational measures, aimed at identifying risks of constitutional conflicts and legal monitoring.

The current era is witnessing a proliferation of challenges of a transnational character that do not recognize the geographical limits of sovereign States, such as human traficking and pollution. Therefore, States have to establish new regional cooperative methods to find effective solutions for these challenges. Although the Maghreb States (i.e. Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia) have been suffering from the negative impacts of such challenges over the last few decades, they have not yet created an effective regional cooperative framework. In this respect, since its establishment in 1989 among the Maghreb States, the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU, Union) has not been successful in stimulating Maghreb regional integration. The current study addresses a topic that has not yet been fully exploited by legal studies in the English language. It examines, first, the genesis and institutional structure of the AMU as well as the constitutional aspects of the 1989 AMU Treaty; second, the role of the EU’s multilateral and bilateral instruments in promoting Maghreb regional integration; and third, the dispute on Western Sahara between Morocco and the Polisario Front and its effect on Maghreb regional integration. The article concludes that Maghreb regional integration has so far failed due to the institutional and constitutional limits of the AMU Treaty and the political division among the Maghreb States resulting from the Western Sahara conflict. In addition, the EU so far has not followed a consistent and single approach in promoting the Maghreb integration nor did it play any role in solving the dispute on Western Sahara.
