Fuzzy Evaluation of Agricultural Water Conservancy Facilities in Reuse

It is increasingly important to reuse the wastewater conservancy facilities, which can further promote the development of agricultural economy. The basis of full investigation and research on the wastewater conservancy facilities in rural areas by using fuzzy mathematics method. This paper constructs a hierarchy model to evaluate the reuse value of wastewater conservancy facilities. The model conducts empirical research on the wastewater conservancy facilities in a certain farmland. The research results show that the transformation of abstract research into quantitative research, a scientific and reasonable practical research model, is established, which can evaluate the research object well. The comprehensive evaluation value of a certain farmland is 0.608. The wastewater conservancy facilities in the farmland are in good condition and can be repaired by reconstruction; some economic benefits are obtained.

IbM Workshop Metode Matematika Gasing Bagi Guru SD Muhammadiyah Se Jakarta Timur

AbstrakIbM pengabdian masyarakat melalui workshop metode matematika GASING bagi guru SD Muhammadiyah se Jakarta Timur. Tujuan dalam pengabdian ini adalah 1) peningkatan pemahaman tentang penjumlahan dan pengurangan; 2) peningkatan pemahaman tentang perkalian dan pembagian. Penerapan metode GASING dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan. Tahap pertama adalah tahap persiapan, meliputi pembuatan buku modul, persiapan bahan ajar, workshett, persiapan strategi mengajar, dan koordinasi dengan pihak mitra terkait persiapan workshop. Tahap kedua adalah tahap pelaksanaan workshop, tahap ini diawali dengan pemberian pretest kepada para peserta, dilanjutkan dengan workshop metode matematika GASING, kemudian diakhiri dengan tahap posttest dan tahap pengisian angket kepuasan oleh peserta. Hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah pelatihan metode GASING dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru SD Muhammadiyah se Jakarta Timur dalam menghitung penjumlahan, pengurangan, perkalian. IbM Workshop on Gasing Mathematics Method for Teachers of Muhammadiyah Elementary Schools in East JakartaAbstractIbM community service through a workshop on GASING mathematics methods for Muhammadiyah elementary school teachers in East Jakarta. Aim in this service are 1) increasing understanding of addition and subtraction; 2) increasing understanding of multiplication and division. The application of the GASING method is carried out through four stages. The first stage is the preparation stage, which includes the making of a module book, preparation of teaching materials, worksheets, preparation of teaching strategies, and coordination with partners regarding preparation of workshops. The second stage is the implementation phase of the workshop, this stage begins with giving a pretest to the participants, followed by a workshop on mathematical methods GASING, then ends with the posttest stage and the stage of filling the satisfaction questionnaire by the participants. The result of community service activities is that the GASING method training can improve the ability of East Jakarta Muhammadiyah elementary school teachers to calculate addition, subtraction, multiplicatio. Efektivitas Teknik Konseling Cognitive Behavioral untuk Meningkatkan Self-Efficacy Siswa pada Pelajaran Matematika

This paper discusses the effect of CBT in improving students’ low self-efficacy on mathematics. Method being used was quantitative as well as single subject approach with A-B design. The target group being used were students of XI-MIA class. Results of research indicated that CBT was effectively improved students’ self-efficacy on mathematics. Students’ self-efficacy of post intervention was higher than pre intervention of CBT for each single subject of study. The authors recommended for the counseling teachers to use CBT as one of the techniques to improve students’ self-efficacy on mathematics. The teacher of mathematics were also expected not only delivered mathematical contents, but also are expected to strengthen students’ beliefs and self-efficacy on mathematics. For the following researchers, we would like to suggest to enlarge subjects not only for senior secondary classroom, but also for junior high school and primary school classroom. Suggestion also were addressed for subjects other than mathematics that students have lower self-efficacy, and with group setting.

The Kumon Method: Its Importance in the Improvement on the Teaching and Learning of Mathematics from the First Levels of Early Childhood and Primary Education

The present work gathers an educational experience based on the application of the personalized Kumon Mathematics Method, carried out in the school year 2015–2016, in which 30,849 students and 230 teachers from several educational centers throughout Spain have participated. We start with a theoretical foundation of the Kumon Method and continue with a description of the research methodology used. The empirical analysis carried out has been both in descriptive and correlational terms, using Spearman’s Rho statistic, between the levels at which the students of the sample have started and the Kumon level reached. The results show that the sooner students begin to learn Mathematics with the Kumon Method, the greater the chance of reaching a level of knowledge above their school level, which helps us to demonstrate the potential of this method in the teaching and learning process of Mathematics in the educational levels of Early Childhood and Primary Education.
