ELVs have become a worldwide concern as vehicles have become so common around the globe. Under the present circumstances where automobile usage is under rapid rise, ELV management is of high significance regarding the resource conservation, and waste management. This research paper manages to identify significant hindrances in realizing extended producer responsibility towards their product in the case of end of life vehicles recycling in Saudi Arabia utilizing interpretive structural modeling approach. By breaking down the current hindrances, one can look forward how to put ELV orders in Saudi Arabia later on and to position ELV management at a superior level along the lines of development prompting a better tomorrow.

Specification of Bacterial Colonies is needed in many fields, such as clinical analysis, biomedical examination for anticipation of severe illnesses, and the drug industry to avoid tainting items. Existing Bacterial Colony counter frameworks count Bacterial Colony physically, which is a tedious, less effective and dreary cycle. Henceforth, mechanization for calculating bacterial settlement was required. The proposed strategy counts these settlements naturally utilizing picture handling strategies. This strategy will give a more superior level of precision in the counting of bacterial provinces. The proposed method takes a picture of bacterial settlement and converts it into grayscale. Otsu thresholding is applied for the division of the image, further its change into a double shot. From that point onward, morphological activities are used to tidy up the picture by eliminating commotion and superfluous pixels. Distance and watershed changes are applied to double vision to make parts among covered and joint microscopic organisms. Locale properties and marking data of fragmented picture is utilized for counting of the bacterial province.

The study aimed to determine the comparative (comparison) effectiveness and contribution of advertisement tax in Kebumen Regency and Purworejo Regency in 2017-2019. The research method used was quantitative descriptive by using secondary data obtained from the Directorate General of Balance and Finance, Ministry of Finance (DJPK) in the form of billboard tax target data, billboard tax realization, and realization of local revenue (PAD). The analysis used in this study using the ratio of effectiveness and contribution. The results of the research on advertisement tax in Kebumen Regency and Purworejo Regency in 2017-2019 showed that the effectiveness level of the advertisement tax was included in the very effective criteria with an average of 165,07% Kebumen Regency and 161,67% of Purworejo Regency while the contribution of advertisement tax to Regional Original Income (PAD) has the criteria of relatively not contributing with an average of 0,16% Kebumen Regency and 0,20% Purworejo Regency. The comparison of the level of effectiveness shows that Kebumen Regency has a superior level of effectiveness than Purworejo Regency. The large comparison of contributions shows that Purworejo Regency is superior in terms of contribution than Kebumen Regency.

Nanocrystals (NCs) are complex systems that offer a superior level of detailed engineering at the atomic level. The large number of novel and revolutionary applications have made nanocrystals of special interest. In particular oxide perovskites are one of the most widely investigated family of materials in solid-state chemistry, especially for their ferroelectric and superconducting properties. In addition to these well-known properties, perovskites show good electrical conductivity (close to metals), ion conductivity and mixed ionic-electronic conductivity. In that sense, controlled synthesis of nanomaterials with special care over size and shape are essential in many fields of science and technology. Although it is well-known that physical methods deliver excellent quality nanomaterials, their high production cost has increased the interest to more affordable alternative chemical processes. In this review, we focus on the preparation of sub-10 nm oxide perovskite nanocrystals and the main strategies used to control the final properties of the obtained products. In the second part, we present the methods available for nanocrystal solutions processing together with the most remarkable applications foreseen.

This article was written based on the findings of research that examines the process of formation of collective leadership implemented by the Corruption Eradication Commission (Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi: KPK) in Indonesia during its inception in 2003 until the end of the leadership of Abraham Samad 2015. The results of the study indicate that the KPK's collective leadership was gradually formed through several stages can be identified in 3 development cycles. The first stage is a pioneering cycle that requires prerequisites for the formation of collective leadership in order to operate the leadership mechanism in the KPK's organizational structure. Second, the critical cycle, namely the operational trials of collective leadership that have the opportunity to succeed or fail. This cycle is characterized by collaboration between structures in the collective decision making process. Third, the operational stabilization cycle, is a stage of development that leads to the cohesiveness of KPK members and results in superior level of performance.

Background: The blood wettability of titanium implant surfaces favors primary osseointegration and tissue healing in peri-implantitis. The current study aims to evaluate this property on the main different kinds of surfaces, brand new and after treatments. Methods: grade IV titanium disks were used, five machined, five laser-treated, five sandblasted. The experiment was on four steps. Between each step, specimens were sterilized. At the end of each step, a 4 µL blood drop was put on the samples, and contact angles were calculated. The steps consisted of—1: no treatment; 2: surface instrumentation with an ultrasonic titanium tip; 3: platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) coating and drying with sterile gauze; 4: etching with phosphoric acid, rinse and saline solution and air-drying. At the end of each phase, a blood drop was placed on the surfaces. Blood for PRF preparation and for calculation of contact angles was collected from a single source. Results: average wettability decreased after instrumentation, and increased after the PRF application to a superior level both to the first and second steps. The highest wettability was obtained after etching. This trend is statistically significant for machined and sandblasted surfaces. Conclusions: In the clinical environment, PRF and phosphoric acid used for conditioning exposed implant surfaces can be used for the healing of peri-implant tissues.

AbstractElectrochemically reversible redox couples that embrace more electron transfer at a higher potential are the eternal target for energy storage batteries. Here, we report a four-electron aqueous zinc-iodine battery by activating the highly reversible I2/I+ couple (1.83 V vs. Zn/Zn2+) in addition to the typical I−/I2 couple (1.29 V). This is achieved by intensive solvation of the aqueous electrolyte to yield ICl inter-halogens and to suspend its hydrolysis. Experimental characterization and modelling reveal that limited water activity and sufficient free chloride ions in the electrolyte are crucial for the four-electron process. The merits of the electrolyte also afford to stabilize Zn anode, leading to a reliable Zn-I2 aqueous battery of 6000 cycles. Owing to high operational voltage and capacity, energy density up to 750 Wh kg−1 based on iodine mass was achieved (15–20 wt% iodine in electrode). It pushes the Zn-I2 battery to a superior level among these available aqueous batteries.

The education has evolved and with it, it must be integrated towards to the students at professional level, the present investigation has as fundamental purpose the delimitation in scientific vocations for students of superior level, as well as the integration from certain processes according to a manual of processes, establishing the design, elaboration and impartation of formative workshops integrated to the vocation. The present work integrated the planning of the problems which big, medium, small and micro companies can present even if they do not have the document, as well as the purpose and importance of this in the internal and external part of the organizations. For economic units in education services registered in Mexico, micro companies represent the majority and the rest are classified as small, while medium and large organizations represent a small percentage. The school modality says that the professional level can be classified from the highest technical level and that only a percentage of them continues their studies at the degree level. For the research, the methodology is identified by integrating the instrument applicable to teachers who will give the formative workshops by knowledge of the cathedra.

This research aims to describe how students’ critical thinking skills could be strengthened using reading strategies. In the methodology, quantitative and qualitative approaches were used, as well as a diagnostic test, a semi-structured interview, and a pedagogic strategy based on Facione´s critical thinking skills. Results showed that all strategies contributed to strengthening critical thinking skills. It was also encountered a noticeable improvement in the explanation skill. In the video strategy, tudents obtained a high or superior level in almost all the skills.
