ABSTRACT The oncocytic variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma represents an uncommon neoplasm whose clinicopathological features and biological behavior have not been adequately defined. We report a case of a 36-year-old female with oncocytic papillary thyroid carcinoma and associated lymphocytic thyroiditis. The cytological and histopathological features of this entity are being discussed along with the differential diagnosis and review of literature.
