From a statistical data bank containing only anonymous records, the records sometimes may be identified and then retrieved, as personal records, by on line dialogue. The risk mainly applies to statistical data sets representing populations, or samples with a high ratio n/N. On the other hand, access controls are unsatisfactory as a general means of protection for statistical data banks, which should be open to large user communities. A threat monitoring scheme is proposed, which will largely block the techniques for retrieval of complete records. If combined with additional measures (e.g., slight modifications of output), it may be expected to render, from a cost-benefit point of view, intrusion attempts by dialogue valueless, if not absolutely impossible. The bona fide user has to pay by some loss of information, but considerable flexibility in evaluation is retained. The proposal of controlled classification included in the scheme may also be useful for off line dialogue systems.

A batch of operating parameters which need to be resolved on line are represented by operating modes.Operating mode optimization for copper flash smelting process based on fuzzy neural networks is presented. First of all, the optimal samples set is screened from the historical samples set. Then mode decomposition based on fuzzy neural networks is used, and chaos genetic algorithm is used to rake the optimal operating sub-pattern.This way is used to copper flash smelting process. The simulation result shows that this way can guide production.

The integration of control and monitoring systems often restricts more advanced monitoring algorithms to be used because of the limitation of hardware resource. This paper proposed a remote on-line model-based monitoring scheme, in which the monitoring and the control are implemented in different stations but synchronised through a Fieldbus network. Moreover, the synchronism period is adjustable so that it allows implementation of various monitoring tasks of different monitoring accuracy. This approach is demonstrated by applying it to a mechatronic control system. The implementation details are presented and the benefits of the approach are highlighted.

Based on the nickel smelting process in the smeltery of a corporation, a real time monitoring system of process parameters acquisition is developed, which makes full use of the choice of equipment, the telecommunication technique of PLC, and the data processing technique to carry on display of the technological parameters, data communication, alarm of demarcation line and tendency analysis etc. The system provides an efficient monitoring and analyzing in the production process for management and operation personnel and enhances the management level of modernization.
