AbstractIn this article we examine the natural interpretation of a ramified type hierarchy into Martin-Löf type theory with an infinite sequence of universes. It is shown that under this predicative interpretation some useful special cases of Russell’s reducibility axiom are valid, namely functional reducibility. This is sufficient to make the type hierarchy usable for development of constructive mathematical analysis in the style of Bishop. We present a ramified type theory suitable for this purpose. One may regard the results of this article as an alternative solution to the problem of the proliferation of levels of real numbers in Russell’s theory, which avoids impredicativity, but instead imposes constructive logic. The intuitionistic ramified type theory introduced here also suggests that there is a natural associated notion of predicative elementary topos.

Consider a discrete time Markov chain {Zn } whose state space is the non-negative integers and whose transition probability matrix ║Pij ║ possesses the representation where {Pr }, r = 1,2,…, is a finite or denumerably infinite sequence of non-negative real numbers satisfying , and , is a corresponding sequence of probability generating functions. It is assumed that Z 0 = k, a finite positive integer.

<p>In this paper, we prove some new Ostrowski type inequalities for differentiable harmonically convex functions using generalized fractional integrals. Since we are using generalized fractional integrals to establish these inequalities, therefore we obtain some new inequalities of Ostrowski type for Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals and $ k $-Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals in special cases. Finally, we give some applications to special means of real numbers for newly established inequalities.</p>

The authors discover a new identity concerning differentiable mappings defined on m-invex set via fractional integrals. By using the obtained identity as an auxiliary result, some fractional integral inequalities for generalized relative semi- m-(r;h1,h2)-preinvex mappings by involving generalized Mittag-Leffler function are presented. It is pointed out that some new special cases can be deduced from main results of the paper. Also these inequalities have some connections with known integral inequalities. At the end, some applications to special means for different positive real numbers are provided as well.

Any theoretical attempt to evaluate the forces and couples experienced by an aircraft when in flight by a mathematical analysis of the pressures exerted by the air when in motion about the various parts, leads to what have, so far, proved insuperable difficulties. It involves the integration of the equations of motion of a real fluid, and, except in a few very special cases, these have been insoluble. The actual motion of a fluid is affected by a number of its properties, and, in general, accounts would have to be taken of its density, viscosity, and at high speeds its compressibility. In certain circumstances the effect of these last two can be neglected and the classical theory of hydrodynamics dealing with the motion of a non-viscous, incompressible or perfect fluid can be applied. A further simplification consists in supposing that the motion is irrotational, that is, any small portion of the fluid at a point has no angular velocity about its centre of gravity.

A class of new nonlinear impulsive set dynamic equations is considered based on a new generalized derivative of set-valued functions developed on time scales in this paper. Some novel criteria are established for the existence and stability of solutions of such model. The approaches generalize and incorporate as special cases many known results for set (or fuzzy) differential equations and difference equations when the time scale is the set of the real numbers or the integers, respectively. Finally, some examples show the applicability of our results.

Also, we give the solution of some special cases of this equation.

<p>Since the supposed Hermite-Hadamard inequality for a convex function was discussed, its expansions, refinements, and variations, which are called Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities, have been widely explored. The main objective of this article is to acquire new Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities employing the Riemann-Liouville fractional operator for functions whose third derivatives of absolute values are convex and quasi-convex in nature. Some special cases of the newly presented results are discussed as well. As applications, several estimates concerning Bessel functions and special means of real numbers are illustrated.</p>

This paper presents Chebyshev Type inequalities for the Riemann-Liouville variable-order fractional integral operator using two synchronous functions on the set of real numbers. It is the first result of its kind in the current literature using variable-order Riemann-Liouville fractional integral operator. Some special cases for the result obtained in the paper are discussed.

Bochner has introduced the idea of almost automorphy in various contexts (see for example [1] and [2]). We shall use the following definition:A measurable real valued function f of a real variable will be called almost automorphic if from every given infinite sequence of real numbers we can extract a subsequence {αn} such that(i) exits for every real t but no kind of uniformity of convergence is stipulated;(ii) exits for every t;(iii) for every t.

This paper is concerned with the behavior of solution of the nonlinear difference equation , where the initial conditions , , are arbitrary positive real numbers and are positive constants. Also, we give specific form of the solution of four special cases of this equation.
