Most of physics teachers in Purworejo Regency use conventional teaching media. This is due to the lack of understanding and information about the latest It-based teaching media. They need new breakthroughs and methods to improve the quality of physics learning, especially those related to the development of teaching media. Therefore CMS (Content Management System) web exe and Arduino-based training needs analysis are conducted for Purworejo Regency physics teachers. This effort are tested by research descriptions are by giving questionnaires to respondents. The results showed that Purworejo district physics teachers needed continuous and periodic training with guided monitoring and needed training related to the latest IT-based teaching media such as e learning and microcontroller-based teaching media such as Arduino.

Abstract The pandemic situation forces the educational system to respond to a variety of issues. During the pandemic, it’s essential to learn more about Technological-Pedagogical-Content-Knowledge (TPACK) and how it can be incorporated into pre-service physics teacher preparation. This qualitative research collects data from ten online teaching videos and ten offline teaching videos of 20 pre-service physics teachers. This study attempts to comprehend the appearance of each TPACK component by analyzing the videos with an observation sheet. The observation sheet explored seven components of TPACK, which are Content Knowledge (CK), Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), Technological Knowledge (TK), Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (PCK), Technological and Content Knowledge (TCK), Technological and Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK), and the last is Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) itself. The result showed that pre-service teachers were determined good TPACK skills, but lacked in certain components. From the result, in both online and offline microteaching, participants rarely showed their TPK. In online activities, it is also seen that participants were faced difficulties in applying their PCK. The different nature of online and offline microteaching drives the need for teacher education institutions to plan and implement microteaching in the pedagogical courses to improve pre-service teachers’ TPACK in both situations.

: Prospective physics teachers are the seeds of the next generation to spread science. But the understanding of science has been balanced with standard laboratory facilitation. In fact there are still many public and private schools that do not have adequate laboratory facilities. Whereas a physics teacher candidate must be able to teach in all fields and conditions. This is a challenge for prospective physics teachers. So the importance of conducting workshops to conduct a learning approach using methods of using practicum media by optimizing the surrounding environment such as the use of passive and active electrical component materials. The implementation of this activity is carried out for six hours consisting of 1. Introduction 2. Characterization 3. Implementation. The results of this dedication activity the prospective physics teachers are very enthusiastic because so far the physics candidates are only limited to knowing but do not understand the physical or physical meaning.

Achievement of learning objectives is supported by the use of appropriate learning models. The research skills and communication of prospective physics teachers is an important ability that is mastered by prospective physics teachers. A learning model is needed that can improve the research and communication skills of prospective physics teachers. This study aims to (1) produce a prototype of the CORPjBL model to improve the research and communication skills of prospective physics teachers, (2) Produce appropriate CORPjBL models to improve the research and communication skills of prospective physics teacher and (3) produce CORPjBL models that can effectively improve skills research and communication of prospective physics teacher. This research is a research and development using the ADDIE step. The ADDIE step consists of analysis, design, develop, implementation and evaluation. The trial subjects included the candidates for the fifth semester physics education teacher who took the physics learning strategy course 2018/2019 school year. The sample used was 3 classes. Data need assessment was collected by questionnaire, interview, and observation. The feasibility data of the learning model was collected by questionnaire sheet, interview sheet, and validation sheet. Data were analyzed descriptively, and infrerential statistics using MANOVA. The research findings are (1) The prototype CORPjBL model produced has a preliminary section, a theoretical basis and the contents of the model consisting of syntax, social systems, reaction principles, support systems, and learning and accompaniment impacts. The CORPjBL model syntax is group formation and problem finding, research project planning, research project implementation, analysis of research project data, assessment and dissemination of research results. (2) The CORPjBL model is appropriate to use according to expert and practitioner ratings. The quality of the feasibility of the model is in very good criteria. (3) The CORPjBL model is effectively used to improve research and communication skills of prospective physics teacher

The teacher faces many problems in implementing the latest curriculum in Indonesia. The main problem is the provision of teaching materials based on scientific approaches. Teaching materials that are well designed according to the characteristics and objectives of learning. The aim is to develop students' thinking skills. For this reason, it is necessary to compile Scientific Model teaching materials that can increase HOTS students. A more appropriate action was to provide technical guidance in making Scientific Model teaching materials to Physics teachers through the Physics teacher working group. The partners in this activity were the working group of Physics Teachers in Padang Pariaman Regency. Based on the results of data analysis, there were many teachers who have not fully understood about making scientific material.

Abstract In promotion of teachers career to a higher level are required to write scientific papers. This study aims to describe the physics teacher’s perspective on the promotion process they have experienced so far and the obstacles they face. This research is a descriptive research, data collection through questionnaire and information deepening is done through interviews. The sample of this research is 73 physics teachers. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that more than 65% of physics teachers have difficulty in fulfilling scientific publication requirements for promotion, 85% of respondents have done classroom action research (CAR), but only about 44% have published in the form of scientific articles. In general, teachers have experience in conducting CAR, but they still lack experience in writing scientific articles. Most physics teachers expect local schools and education offices to cooperate with universities to organize training and mentoring of scientific publications. This study can be concluded that the main obstacle to the promotion of physics teachers is caused by the low ability to carry out scientific publications. The results of this study are expected to provide consideration to stakeholders in making decisions and actions related to teacher promotion, especially regarding the mandatory requirements for scientific publications.
