Development of 3D spectral methods on the 6-meter telescope prompted the necessity of creating specialized software for data reduction, adapted to personal computers IBM AT/386/486 class. We had to concentrate our efforts on preparing the software for bidimensional spectral data produced by Multi-Pupil Integral Field Spectrograph of the 6-meter telescope (MPFS) and analog of panoramic spectrophotometer with spectral channeling, using scanning Fabry-Perot interferometer (PYTHEAS-6).MPFS - analog of spectrograph TIGER (Courtes et al., 1988), developed for the 6-meter telescope, provides bidimensional spectroscopy of extended sources, allowing the simultaneous detection of 99 individual spectra, produced by a lens raster from 9 by 11 microlenses. The main features of this instrument are described in (Afanasiev et al, 1994).

The reduction of integral field spectroscopy (IFS) data requires several stages and many repetitive operations to convert raw data into, typically, a large number of spectra. Instead there are several semiautomatic data reduction tools and here we present this data reduction process using some of the Image Reduction and Analysis Facility (IRAF) tasks devoted to reduce spectroscopic data. After explaining the whole process, we illustrate the power of this instrumental technique with some results obtained for the object HH202 in the Orion Nebula (Mesa-Delgado et al., 2009).

Abstract. Doppler measurements have been carried out during a variety of observational campaigns using the stationary and the mobile SOUSY-VHF-Radars. The general data reduction procedure is presented in some detail. Particular emphasis is placed upon possible problems arising from contaminated data and solutions are proposed. Some results from measurements at tropospheric and mesospheric heights are presented.

Abstract MEGARA is an optical integral field and multi-object fibre-based spectrograph for the 10.4m Gran Telescopio CANARIAS that offers medium to high spectral resolutions (FWHM) of R ≃ 6000, 12000, 20000. Commissioned at the telescope in 2017, it started operation as a common-user instrument in 2018. We are creating an instrument-oriented empirical spectral library from MEGARA-GTC stars observations, MEGASTAR, crucial for the correct interpretation of MEGARA data. This piece of work describes the content of the first release of MEGASTAR, formed by the spectra of 414 stars observed with R ≃ 20000 in the spectral intervals 6420 – 6790 Å and 8370 – 8885 Å, and obtained with a continuum average signal to noise ratio around 260. We describe the release sample, the observations, the data reduction procedure and the MEGASTAR database. Additionally, we include in Appendix A, an atlas with the complete set of 838 spectra of this first release of the MEGASTAR catalogue.
