The Chinese government has proposed a new development model called Dual Circulation, which, we argue, is a response to the upsurge of trade protectionism in recent years, as well as an acceleration of China’s long-planned restructuring of its economy. Our input-output analysis reveals the inferior global distributional position of China and the dire consequences it faces from a counterfactual US-China trade decoupling. Specifically, China on average transferred out about 9 percent of its abstract labor during 2010–14, and it stands to lose 2.5 percentage points in its growth rate and over 10 million jobs if the United States and China completely transfer their bilateral trade to other partners. This study attempts to characterize the literature related to input–output analysis between 1990–2017 through bibliometric analysis technology based on the Science Citation Index and Social Sciences Citation Index databases. By means of bibliometric tools, this paper provides deep insights on the patterns of these articles, the most influential works and authors, and the emerging research topics. The results imply that China and the United States (USA) are the leading countries in terms of publication output. The Chinese Academy of Sciences is the most productive research institution, followed by Beijing Normal University and the University of Sydney. The Journal of Cleaner Production, Ecological Economics, and Energy Policy are the top mainstream journals in the input–output analysis-related field. Based on network analysis, this paper also discovers the hidden collaboration patterns and interrelations of countries, institutions, and authors. The bibliographic coupling and keywords concurrence networks are adopted to illustrate the input–output analysis evolution over time, and identify the current key research hotspots. The obtained results will help scientific researchers better understand the research status and frontier trends in this field, permit researchers to know the current research interests in the input–output analysis field, and provide useful information for further investigation and publication strategies.

Globalization has transformed the structure of industry into global integration of socalled global value chains (GVCs). Some literatures suggest that electronic industry is known as a successful industry in establishing global value chain. Electronic industry is one of leading cluster in driving economic growth in Indonesia. This study aimed to analyze the role of Indonesia in electronic global value chain according to its share towards global electronic industry, linkages, and value added distribution. An input output analysis by using the Asian International Input Output Table 2005 was employed to analyze the share of each country in electronic global value chain, inter-sector linkages, value added, also output and income multiplier. The result showed that Indonesia had low participation in electronic global value chain. Indonesia’s output share was the lowest among all countries which resulted in low valueadded acquisition. Indonesia played the role as the input user from the various sectors. It is suggested that Indonesia electronic manufacture sector should be integrated with the input supplier sectors. Electronic computing equipment sector can be the main priority in enhancing Indonesia electronic manufacture sector since it has the biggest effect to economic growth. This paper presents spatial linkages on calculations of spill-over and feed-back effects of World input-output tables, which is aggregated specifically into six-Asian countries includes China, Indonesia, India, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, plus Australia, United States, and the Rest of the World. The results showed that, firstly output multipliers in six Asian countries tend to increase during 2000–2014, indicating a consistent economic growth. Secondly, except China, output multipliers occurred in other countries tend to increase. Thirdly, in 2000, the United States and Japan were two countries receiving highest output spill-over. However, in year 2014, most of output spill-over moved to China. India and Indonesia received only small part of spill-over from other countries. Fourthly, the highest feed-back effect occurred in China and Japan. The smallest feed-back effect occurred in India and Indonesia. China had smallest spill-over effect but received the highest feed-back effect. ------------------------------------------- Artikel ini menyajikan hasil analisis keterkaitan spasial di enam negara Asia, berdasarkan perhitungan efek limpahan dan efek balik pada tabel input-output dunia, yang diagregasikan untuk enam negara Asia, yang meliputi Cina, Indonesia, India, Jepang, Korea, dan Taiwan ditambah Australia, Amerika Serikat, dan the Rest of the World. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwa, pertama, pengganda output di enam negara Asia cenderung meningkat dalam waktu 2000–2014. Ini merupakan indikasi pertumbuhan ekonomi yang konsisten. Kedua, kecuali di Cina, efek limpahan juga cenderung meningkat. Ketiga, tahun 2000, negara yang paling besar menikmati limpahan adalah Amerika Serikat dan Jepang, tetapi tahun 2014, limpahan terbesar beralih ke Cina. Keempat, efek balik yang terbesar terjadi di Cina dan Jepang. Efek balik terkecil terjadi di India dan Indonesia. Cina mempunyai efek limpahan terkecil tetapi menerima efek balik terbesar.
