We have studied a top-Higgs production process [Formula: see text] in the topcolor assisted technicolor (TC2) model. The studies show that the production cross-section of [Formula: see text] is at the order of magnitude 10 fb in reasonable parameters space of TC2 model. A few hundred events of top-Higgs can be produced each year at the high energy linear e+e- colliders (LC). The top-Higgs may be directly observed via this process.

We present the results of a search for a neutral MSSM Higgs boson decaying to a pair of tau leptons. The analyzed data sample corresponds to integrated luminosity of approximately 200 pb-1 of [Formula: see text] collisions at [Formula: see text]. It was collected by the CDF detector during Run 2 of the Fermilab Tevatron. We select tau pairs in which one of the taus decays hadronically and the other to e or μ and neutrinos. We see no evidence of signal and perform a fit to the (partially) reconstructed di-tau mass to set limits on the product of Higgs production cross-section and its branching fraction to taus.

For the Accelerator-Driven nuclear transmutation System (ADS), nuclide production yield estimation in a lead-bismuth target is important to manage the target. However, experimental data of nuclide production yield by spallation and high-energy fission reactions are scarce. In order to obtain the experimental data, an experiment in J-PARC using natPb and 209Bi samples were carried out. The samples were thin foils with about 0.1 mm thick and 25 mm × 25 mm square and were irradiated with protons at kinematic energy points of 0.4GeV, 2.2GeV, and 3.0 GeV. After the irradiation, the nuclide production cross section was determined by spectroscopic measurement of decay gamma-rays from the samples with HPGe detectors. In this paper, 14 nuclide production cross sections for lead and bismuth were obtained. They were compared with the calculated cross sections with various models and the evaluated one.

New results for the total neutral dissociation cross section and an estimate of the gross cross section for the production of neutral fluorine by electron impact on CF4 have been obtained by combining previously reported results for the total dissociation cross section and the counting cross section for the total dissociative ionisation. This advancement was made possible by recently reported results for multication formation obtained from coincidence experiments. The estimate of the neutral fluorine production cross section is of the same order of magnitude as the total dissociation cross section itself, a similarity which may explain why CF4 is such an effective etching gas. The available cross section data for electron impact energies between 5 and 200 e V are reviewed.

We consider the production of magnetic monopoles via γγ fusion at high energy pp collisions. In the assumption that the monopole spin is equal 0, 1/2, 1, the monopole–antimonopole pair production cross-section by this mechanism at LHC energies is estimated and analyzed.

We discuss the contributions of PGBs (technipions, top-pions) to the top quark production at the high energy e+e- linear collider (LC) experiments in TC2 theory. We find that the corrections to the production cross-section [Formula: see text] mainly come from top-pions. The corrections of the charged top-pions are significantly large in most of the parameter space. With reasonable value of the parameters, the correction to [Formula: see text] can reach about 8% which may be detected at LC experiments.
