The surging advance in micro- and nanotechnologies allied with neural learning systems allows the realization of miniaturized yet extremely powerful multisensor systems and networks for wide application fields, for example, in measurement, instrumentation, automation, and smart environments. Time and location context is particularly relevant to sensor swarms applied for distributed measurement in industrial environment, such as, for example, fermentation tanks. Common RF solutions face limits here, which can be overcome by magnetic systems. Previously, we have developed the electronic system for an integrated data logger swarm with magnetic localization and sensor node timebase synchronization. The focus of this work is on an approach to improving both localization accuracy and flexibility by the application of artificial neural networks applied as virtual sensors and classifiers in a hybrid dedicated learning system. Including also data from an industrial brewery environment, the best investigated neural virtual sensor approach has achieved an advance in localization accuracy of a factor of 4 compared to state-of-the-art numerical methods and, thus, results in the order of less than 5 cm meeting industrial expectations on a feasible solution for the presented integrated localization system solution.

This research presents the Preventive Maintenance Data Logger (PMDL) Monitoring System and the process of how it has been manufactured. Preventive Maintenance Data Logger Monitoring System is a device which will collect the data from vehicle’s sensor for prevention maintenance and then save the data to other storage for future analysis. Preventive Maintenance Data Logger Monitoring System also can send notification to user for crash prevention. This project comprises of mechanical system, electronic system, and software system. The methodology of the Preventive Maintenance Data Logger system and prototype development is discussed in this paper on the manufacturing processes. The software is programmed using C language in Arduino software and the notification for preventive are develop using BLYNK application. Manufacturing processes involves in making this project, including additive manufacturing, welding and cutting. Several test case studies were conducted to verify the capability of the device in term of the vehicle speed, location, crash point data, distance between other vehicles detection and reliability.

With the expansion and accelerated pace of development of the steel industry, unattended becomes an inevitably trend. The measuring data of the enterprise becomes crucial importance. Therefore, this paper proposes a system solution to establish comprehensive backtracking model and structure design of concentrated distributed measurement control. Firstly, introduce the process of measuring control model; secondly, establish the measurement control backtracking model and its sub module based on the control process; finally, it is the structural implementation and verification of backtracking model. The Kunming Iron&Steel distribution measurement control system was transformed according to the scheme, and good performances have been achieved in practical application.

The continuous development of space missions has put forward requirements for high performance, high reliability, intelligence, effective integration, miniaturization, and quick turn around productization of the electronic system of satellites. The complexity of satellites has continued to increase, and the focus of satellite competition has shifted from the launch of success shifts to communication capacity, performance indicators, degree of flexibility, and continuous service capabilities. So, the importance of onboard avionics system is becoming increasingly prominent. In the future, the advanced avionics system integrates most of the platform’s electronic equipment. The design level of the system largely determines the performance of the satellite platform. This chapter focuses on the application requirements of the new generation of intelligent avionics system for future communication satellites and adopts an “open” architecture of “centralized management, distributed measurement and drive, and software and hardware ‘modular’ design” to build a universal, standardized, and scalable intelligent avionics system.

Abstract In order to assess or determine the overall quality of the surrounding geographical environment, it is necessary to measure selected factors that directly or indirectly affect its condition. The aspects to be monitored include i.a. air pollution levels, surface water purity, soil erosion rates, as well as night sky light pollution, a phenomenon increasingly often observed with the unaided eye. To collect data on the night sky brightness on a regular basis, a remote measuring device was designed and constructed using specialised electronic components, wireless communication, programming code, a high-sensitivity digital light data logger and custom-made programme code. LPWAN networks, including LoRa technology, were developed to support a number of mobile devices where long wireless operation is a priority. To determine the potential use of LoRa technology, as well as to plan the target locations of network access gates (gateways) and the deployment of measuring devices for the collection of environmental data, tests of signal coverage and signal visibility, including measurements of its strength, were carried out in a selected, compact part of the city of Toruń. The paper presents the results of research on the visibility of the LoRa network in a built-up area, such as a university campus, using antennas of two different lengths. The obtained results can be used to design distributed measurement networks in areas with varying density of buildings.

As an electronic learning system organizer State Polytechnic of Batam (Polibatam) must arrange secured electronic learning system. Ministry of Communication and Information of Indonesia expects the organizations which arrange electronic system can perform SNI ISO 27001 certification related to information security. Information security condition on organizations which will perform on certifiation is expected on maturity level at III+ (Directorate of Information Security Team, 2011). On the other hand, there is a gap between expected conditon and actual condition. Information security index (KAMI) is a tool to assess the implementation of information security that has been done. This research is assessed related to technology component because of high dependency of organization on technology. The purpose of research is to identify how far the security of technology at State Polytechnic of Batam by using information security index. Based on research, electronic learning system that is organized by State Polytechnic of Batam is low categorized. The total percentage is 65 or 54,17% out of maximum percentage. Therefore, the maturity level of technology security is on maturity level II which means the maturity level of technology security is under the expected maturity level for minimum readiness certification on III+. It is caused the position of State Polyetechnic of Batam is on a organizational development stage. Moreover, the focus of organization is related on operational, not strategic.

This article presents an overview of research aimed at developing a scientific approach to creating multisensor optical systems for chemical analysis. The review is mainly based on the author’s works accomplished over the recent 10 years at Samara State Technical University with broad international cooperation. It consists of an introduction and five sections that describe state of the art in the field of optical sensing, suggested development methodology of optical multisensor systems, related aspects of experimental design and process analytical technology followed by a collection of practical examples in different application fields: food and pharmaceutical production, medical diagnostics, and ecological monitoring. The conclusion summarizes trends and prospects of the multisensory approach to optical spectral analysis.

ABSTRACT<br /><br />Dhyana Pura University is a university that has a website as a means to provide<br />information to students and the public, but on the web that is owned by the University Dhyana<br />Pura does not have E-learning facilities. One way to make teaching and learning process more<br />effective and efficient is to design and implement e-learning information system so that the<br />teaching and learning process can not only be done while in the classroom, but not limited by<br />space and time.<br />E-Learning is a type of teaching learning that allows the delivery of teaching materials to<br />students by using the media Internet, Intranet or other computer network media.<br />The results of this study is a web-based information system that contains some facilities<br />such as quiz that allows students to implement quiz online. This research uses Random Matrix<br />method, where the quiz which is done by the student will be randomized. The paper explains the use of machine learning approaches and especially throws light on the issue of user-based recommender frameworks. The new sort of framework which has been received by this exploration is a blend of profound learning baed and client recommender type arrangement of AI. Therefore, the model of a hybrid system of deep learning system has been incorporated into this research which used the convolutional neural learning models. This system of learning has been explained as the method which is used to study various users’ preferences in order to see their clicks. The information utilizes considering the inclinations or proposals of the clients is utilized in such a manner to direct these machines. In the client proposals frameworks, the innovation of computerized reasoning is utilized with the goal that the machines could learn things like a human brain. In the section of the literature review, the researcher has emphasized the various models which are used in machine learning. The systems which play a role in the users’ recommender systems involve examining the preferences of these users who use these systems. The system which has been utilized for this exploration is examining different characters who watch various motion pictures which have a place with two classifications of activity and parody. Thus, the information which has been gathered examined and anticipated the inclinations of these clients by considering the aa around gave information. Hence, there are various datasets that are used in this paper to predict the users’ preferences.
