This empirical research applies cointegration in the traditional measurement method first to build directed weighted networks in the context of stock market. Then, this method is used to design the indicators and the value simulation for measuring network fluctuation and studying the dynamic evolution mechanism of stock market transaction networks as affected by price fluctuations. Finally, the topological structure and robustness of the network are evaluated. The results show that network structure stability is strong in the bull market stage and weak in the bear market stage. And the convergence rate of the dynamic evolution of network fluctuation is higher in the bull market stage than in the bear market stage.

This paper investigates how China’s stock market reacts to short-term interest rates, as represented by the Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate (Shibor). We adopt the Markov Regime Switching model to divide China’s stock market into Medium, Bull and Bear market; and then examine how Shibor influences market returns and risk in different market regimes. We find that short-term interest rates have a significant negative effect on stock returns in Medium and Bull market, but could not affect stock returns in Bear market. In addition, different maturities of Shibor have different effects on stock returns. Furthermore, we find that the short-term interest rates have a negative effect on market risk in Bull market, but a positive effect in Bear market. Our findings show that China’s market is quite peculiar and distinctive from the U.S. market or other developed countries’ markets in many ways.

<p><em>During training process of LSTM, the prediction accuracy is affected by a variation of factors, including the selection of training samples, the network structure, the optimization algorithm, and the stock market status. This paper tries to conduct a systematic research on several influencing factors of LSTM training in context of time series prediction. The experiment uses Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 constituent stocks from 2006 to 2017 as samples. The influencing factors of the study include indicator sampling, sample length, network structure, optimization method, and data of the bull and bear market, and this experiment compared the effects of PCA, dropout, and L2 regularization on predict accuracy and efficiency. Indice sampling, number of samples, network structure, optimization techniques, and PCA are found to be have their scope of application. Further, dropout and L2 regularization are found positive to improve the accuracy. The experiments cover most of the factors, however have to be compared by data overseas. This paper is of significance for feature and parameter selection in LSTM training process.</em></p>

This study uses Markov switching vector autoregression (MS-VAR) model to explore the asymmetric effects of China’s monetary policy on the stock market in the bull market and the bear market. With China’s economy in a rapid development, China’s stock market as the main representative of the virtual economy has attracted large assets. Since 1990 to the present, China’s stock market has experienced several times states’ change between the bull market and bear market. The results indicate that China’s quantity-based direct instrument and price-based indirect instrument have asymmetric effects on the stock market in the bull market and the bear market. Moreover, the relationship between China’s economy and stock market exist a degree of dichotomy. Furthermore, China’s monetary policy has stronger effects on the bull market than the bear market.

Abstract: This study analyzes the spillover effects of the US monetary policy on the ASEAN stock market with Markov switching model and investigates differences in empirical results of each country from ASEAN member. The results of this study have important implications for asset price allocation, specifically in the case of a transition between US and other small countries. The results showed that the ASEAN stock market is more affected by the US interest rates during bull-market than bear-markets. This can be seen from the increasing of stock market volatility during expansion comparing with recession period. Therefore, the stock markets of ASEAN countries will not be easily affected by the dollar rate during financial crisis or the recession period.

In the article, from the standpoint of reasons and necessity, the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the key trends in the development of the stock market in Russia are disclosed. The leading role is assigned to the processes of computerization of the exchange market: the introduction and use of digital technologies that ensure the financial stability of the financial market as a whole, its security and transparency, as well as access of a large circle of investors to banking and financial operations, and the protection of their interests. It has been established that the processes of introducing and using digital technologies, organically built into the mechanism of the functioning of the securities market as a whole, determine the directions of development of such trends as innovations, diversification of stock market instruments, securitization, integration with international stock markets, etc. key trends influenced by the technological development of the stock market, lead to blurring the boundaries between the primary and secondary markets.

FIIs are companies registered outside India. In the past four years there has been more than $41 trillion worth of FII funds invested in India. This has been one of the major reasons on the bull market witnessing unprecedented growth with the BSE Sensex rising 221% in absolute terms in this span. The present downfall of the market too is influenced as these FIIs are taking out some of their invested money. Though there is a lot of value in this market and fundamentally there is a lot of upside in it. For long-term value investors, there’s little because for worry but short term traders are adversely getting affected by the role of FIIs are playing at the present. Investors should not panic and should remain invested in sectors where underlying earnings growth has little to do with financial markets or global economy.

The article investigates the problem of ensuring the functioning of the securities market infrastructure of Ukraine. The analysis had been conducted through the prism of securities market participants' protection. The author has proposed to introduce the institute for protection of small investors in the stock market by the way of reorganization of the Deposit Guarantee Fund like in the Estonian and Lithuanian models. The Fund is tasked with the following in order to support the infrastructure of protection: to accumulate funds, to invest in managed funds and to pay insurance payments promptly in the case of an insurance event. On the basis of analytical data, the results from the implementation of the Fund are determined: accumulation of budgets to guarantee protection, increase in the value of securities in circulation, protection due to compensation of the guaranteed sums to small investors and the actual income from the functioning of the Fund. Another aspect of using strategic tools in stock market infrastructure is «FinTech» and blockchain technologies. Using of these technologies and the leading positions of Ukraine in the world are emphasized. Advantages of the blockchain technology implementation into the stock market infrastructure of Ukraine and economic feasibility are shown. The obligatory availability of electronic infrastructure for both the state and individual participants of the stock market is substantiated for the effective functioning of modern financial instruments. The author demonstrates the advantages of implementing blockchain technology in the stock market infrastructure of Ukraine and economic feasibility. Positive aspects of cooperation of powerful financial companies and blockchain institutions are shown, as well as problems of non-regulation of this issue in the Ukrainian legislation. A special place in the economics of stock market infrastructure is given to innovative money transfer systems. It has been found that the use of the Ripple system can form the basis of the infrastructure for quick and much cheaper internal payments in the stock market. Key words: stock market, infrastructure, institutions of infrastructure, guarantee fund, investments, blockchain technologies, «FinTech».

The article is devoted to the study of the current state, problems and prospects of development of the Ukrainian stock market. It is proved that the stock market is a tool for implementing the state's Innovation Policy and a priority factor in mobilizing financial and capital resources. Stock market commodities are securities (stocks, bonds, etc.). Trends, features of functioning and development of the Ukrainian stock market are analysed. The analysis of the main indicators of exchanges, the structure and volume of exchange contracts with securities is carried out. The structural distribution of exchange contracts by trading organizers is established. The analysis of operations with securities on the organized market, unorganized market and stock exchanges of the country is carried out. The largest volume of trading on financial instruments on trade organizers in 2019 was recorded with government bonds of Ukraine – UAH 295 billion according to the National Securities and stock market Commission, the exchange market during 2019 saw consolidation of securities trading on two stock exchanges “Perspektyva” and “PFTS Ukraine Stock Exchange”: 98.7% of the value of exchange contracts. Analysis of the main indicators that determine the state of the stock market has shown that the modern securities market of Ukraine is characterized by an extremely high degree of fragmentation, limited liquidity and a variety of types of securities, which, in turn, are the main obstacles to the development of the stock market and the capital market as a whole. Attention is focused on the main problems that hinder the functioning of the stock market. It is proved that the development of the stock market is hindered by: insufficient competitiveness of the domestic stock market; imperfect tax incentives for market development; low level of corporate governance development; imperfect regulatory and legislative framework of Ukraine; low liquidity and capitalization. The directions of development of the stock market of Ukraine are proposed: improving the efficiency of regulation of issuers; stimulating the inflow of investment to the stock market; ensuring reliable and efficient functioning of the market infrastructure; ensuring the functioning of the unified state policy for stimulating the improvement of the investment climate.
