A problem of creating a technology-related risks management system at an enterprise has been considered. On the basis of applying system approach and system modeling, a set of interrelated structural and process models was built for using them in the technology-related risks management system of an enterprise. By means of the suggested models and matrix projections between them, we can carry out the organizational analysis of a technology-related risks management system of an enterprise, which allows determining the functional workload and responsibility of structural elements of the created system. The calculation procedure of personnel in accordance with the established posts list has been developed for the technology-related risks management system of an enterprise, which would allow cutting administrative costs for the functions of risk managers.

Examined is relevance of a subject of work is caused by the continuing deterioration of dissertation works. Therefore, article purpose is to define the system reason of deterioration of training of the top skills by the analysis of contents and structure of theses. The main shortcomings of dissertations, and understanding of their structural elements by applicants of an academic degree by communication with them in the course of preparation and carrying out preliminary protection of these were analyzed. Results of the analysis were compared to requirements of classical methodology and to interpretation of these requirements in the methodical managements and in publications. The essential system reason of decline in quality of dissertation works is in their traditional unsystematic structure, whith investigation withdrawal from scientific methodology and particular leveling of motivation to the analysis of a condition of a question and the received results of researches and also to system approach to the thesis, need of strengthening of methodological training of graduate students according to the uniform nation-wide program providing system approach to the organization of researches for all scientific specialties, and processing’s of the “Thesis and Abstract of the Thesis” standard according to classical requirements of scientific methodology and the system approach to dissertation work Is shown. The system scheme of the thesis, which can make a manual basis is the practical guide to organization and performance of dissertation work for training of graduate students and applicants is offered.

Issues of developing a culture of risk management, today is perhaps one of the most significant in risk management. The lack of a well-built risk management culture is for many companies, one of the main barriers to building an effective risk management system. It should be understood that all methods that are used to manage risk are as effective as the culture of risk management in the organisation. It depends on the culture of risk management how secure the organisation can feel as part of its development strategy. The development of a risk management culture, in contrast to increasing the costs of expanding the risk management department, is an intensive way to increase the effectiveness of the risk management system and, as a result, provide the possibility of safe development under any market conditions and challenges. By cultivating a risk management culture for the entire hierarchy of employees, you can achieve much better results than simply hiring expensive risk managers.

This paper presents an energy management system supported by PI Controller for a residential grid connected micro grid with renewable hybrid generation (wind and photo voltaic) and battery system. Modeling hybrid system includes non conventional energy sources given at sporadic supply conditions and dynamic energy demand, and to make conceptual energy storage with the help of battery system . Designing  an  appropriate  scheme  that dynamically changes modes of renewable integrated system based on the availability of RES power and changes in load. Wind,PV are the primary power supply of the system; battery is going  to  be act  as  a  substitute. The  PI  controller  is developed and carried  out for the aimed hybrid(Wind and PV) energy system to integrate the non conventional energy sources to the serviceability either to grid or to Residential loads.main objective is improvement of transients during switching  periods  by  using an efficient PI controller.maximum power point tracking is also  other objective is energy management system designed for the residential grid connected Micro Grid. Simulations are carried out on the proposed Hybrid energy system using MATLAB/ SIMULINK.

The rapid expansion of the Internet has resulted not only in the ever-growing amount of data stored therein, but also in the burgeoning complexity of the concepts and phenomena pertaining to that data. This issue has been vividly compared by the renowned statistician J.F. Friedman (Friedman, 1997) of Stanford University to the advances in human mobility from the period of walking afoot to the era of jet travel. These essential changes in data have brought about new challenges in the discovery of new data mining methods, especially the treatment of these data that increasingly involves complex processes that elude classic modeling paradigms. “Hot” datasets like biomedical, financial or net user behavior data are just a few examples. Mining such temporal or stream data is a focal point in the agenda of many research centers and companies worldwide (see, e.g., (Roddick et al., 2001; Aggarwal, 2007)). In the data mining community, there is a rapidly growing interest in developing methods for process mining, e.g., for discovery of structures of temporal processes from observed sample data. Research on process mining (e.g., (Unnikrishnan et al., 2006; de Medeiros et al., 2007; Wu, 2007; Borrett et al., 2007)) have been undertaken by many renowned centers worldwide1. This research is also related to functional data analysis (see, e.g., (Ramsay & Silverman, 2002)), cognitive networks (see, e.g., (Papageorgiou & Stylios, 2008)), and dynamical system modeling, e.g., in biology (see, e.g., (Feng et al., 2007)). We outline an approach to the discovery of processes from data and domain knowledge. The proposed approach to discovery of process models is based on rough-granular computing. In particular, we discuss how changes along trajectories of such processes can be discovered from sample data and domain knowledge.

The National Energy Board of Canada (NEB), a federal energy regulator, has implemented a management system audit program as a tool to verify compliance with its predominantly goal-oriented Onshore Pipeline Regulations, 1999 (OPR) [1]. The OPR allow individual companies to choose the most effective way to manage their pipeline systems. The audit program is based on expected elements that the NEB believes are necessary to meet the goals of the OPR. This paper will explain why these audits and expected elements are necessary and describe how goal-oriented regulations will enhance pipeline safety. The audits conducted to date have identified several challenges that the NEB and pipeline companies face in pursuit of the goal of safe pipelines; these will be described and possible solutions will be proposed. The overall objective of the paper is to explain the benefits of using a management system approach to direct a company’s pipeline integrity management program and what is required of companies to meet the expectations of the NEB.

Aiming at the existing of a large number of distributed and heterogeneous application systems cross-application of rights management issues, the deficiencies of traditional rights management system, which in the aspect of the formal semantics supporting and reasoning abilities, are analyzed. In the rights management of cross-applications, the concept of domain ontology is introduced; a rights management system model is presented, which is based on the domain ontology cross-applications, for permission ontology to conduct a conceptual modeling and formal description of semantics, an increase of semantic reasoning ability, rich in the corresponding access control mechanisms to provide a user-friendly structure interface.
