Introduction: All works have the potential to cause work fatigue, one of which is in the dome installation work. Work fatigue leads to decreased work capacity and endurance to work. Factors causing work fatigue are age, sex, nutritional status, smoking habits, history of illness, work environment, workload, work hours, and rest periods. This study aims to find out the correlation between age, nutritional status, and smoking habits with work fatigue in dome installation workers at PT. A. Methods: This type of research was an observational analytic research using a cross-sectional approach. This study had a population of all employees of PT. A in the dome installation section. The samples used were 33 workers, taken using total sampling. This study was conducted in 2020. This study used variables of age, nutritional status, smoking habits, and work fatigue. Instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire. The Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire was specifically used to collect data on work fatigue. In addition, data on nutritional status were obtained from the calculation of Body Mass Index (BMI). The contingency coefficient was used to analyze the data. Results: Theworkers mostly (81.8%) experienced mild work fatigue and were aged ≤ 35 years, had normal nutritional status, and were mild smokers. Conclusion: There was a weak relationship between age and nutritional status with work fatigue and a veryweak relationship between smoking habits with work fatigue. Keywords: age, nutritional status, smoking habits, work fatigue

Fatigue is a subjective feeling that different for everyone, which leads to loss of efficiency, decreases work capacity, health problem and the body's ability to survive resulting in work accident. The purpose of this research was examining the factors associated with subjective work fatigue on nurses working in dr. Mohamad Soewandhie hospital in Surabaya. This research was an observational study with cross sectional design. The respondents were nurses of emergency, outpatient, and inpatient units in dr.Mohamad Soewandhie hospital. The variables were individual factors were consisting of age, years of working life, nutritional status, gender, and occupational factors were consisting of the workload and the monotony condition of work toward work fatigue. Spearman correlation test was using to test the relationship of each factors, except the relationship of gender and the monotony condition were using  Mann-Whitney.The results showed that the most of the respondentss were 25-30 years old, female, 1-10 years of working life, had better nutritional status, had a moderate heavy workload and felt the monotony condition in her work. The result of fatigue measurement used the checklist which indicated that the most of the respondents experienced no relationship between age, gender, years of working life, workload, and the monotony condition the results also proved the existence of a relationship between nutritional status with p=0,00. It could be concluded that the nutritional status of nurse in dr.Mohamad Soewandhie hospital had a risk of causing fatigue.  Keywords: Individual factors, occupational factors, and work fatigue

Background : Work produvtivity is the top priority demanded of every workforce to produce the product. Many factors can affect work produktivity such as nutritional status and anemia. Anemia is a nutritional problem that can cause fatigue, weakness, loss of work capacity and produktivity. Objective: The purpose of this research was to analyze the relation between hemoglobin levels and nutritional status with women employee’s produktivity in stamping and packaging section at UD X Sidoarjo. Methods: This reserch was an observational analytic study designed with cross sectional. The population was all women employees in production of 130 people and the sample of 54 respondents selected by random sampling. Data collection used height and weight measurement, measurement of hemoglobin levels, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using chi square test. Results: The result showed that there was a correlation between the nutritional status and productivity (p=0.014), but there was no correlation between Hb concentration and productivity (p=0.836).Conclusion: The better the nutritional status were, the higher the productivity would be. It is recommended that the women employees of this company to aware on their nutritional status.ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Produktivitas kerja menjadi hal utama yang harus dimiliki setiap tenaga kerja untuk menghasilkan produk. Dianjurkan agar pegawai wanita perusahaan menyadari status gizi mereka.

IntroductionMalnutrition, specifically protein-energy wasting (PEW), is common in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), and its prevalence increases as CKD progresses. Oral nutritional supplementation (ONS) with complete formulas specific to this pathology, is a strategy aimed at meeting energy and protein requirements that are not possible with dietary recommendations and advice alone. This study systematically reviewed the available scientific literature on the safety and effectiveness of nutritional therapy with complete formulas specially designed for adults with CKD who have PEW that is not reversible through ordinary food consumption.MethodsWe systematically searched for articles published up to May 2018 in several electronic databases. We included comparative studies that evaluated the safety and effectiveness of complete nutritional formulas for malnourished adults with CKD. Relevant outcomes included rates of death, hospitalization, and adverse effects, and changes in nutritional status, anthropometrics, and health-related quality of life (HRQoL).ResultsThree systematic reviews and 22 primary studies were identified. The primary studies comprised nine randomized controlled trials, nine non-randomized comparative studies, and four before-after studies (the latter were only included in the safety review). The majority of studies were conducted in patients on hemodialysis. The studies exhibited methodological heterogeneity in terms of the methods used to measure nutritional status and the interventions and comparators evaluated. There was also inconsistency among the results. Adherence to ONS, especially in the long term, can be affected by taste fatigue produced by repeatedly taking the same formula. Some studies recommend supplementation during hemodialysis sessions.ConclusionsThe studies with less risk of bias indicated a trend toward improvements in rates of death and hospitalization, HRQoL and, to a lesser extent, some anthropometric variables and serum markers, such as albumin, when ONS was given to patients with CKD. High quality comparative studies are needed to make conclusive statements about the effectiveness of this intervention.

Phenotypic plasticity has been proposed as an ecological and evolutionary concept. Ecologically, it can help study how genes and the environment interact to produce robust phenotypes. Evolutionarily, as a facilitator it might contribute to phenotypic novelty and diversification. However, the discussion of phenotypic plasticity remains contentious in parts due to the absence of model systems and rigorous genetic studies. Here, we summarize recent work on the nematode Pristionchus pacificus, which exhibits a feeding plasticity allowing predatory or bacteriovorous feeding. We show feeding plasticity to be controlled by developmental switch genes that are themselves under epigenetic control. Phylogenetic and comparative studies support phenotypic plasticity and its role as a facilitator of morphological novelty and diversity.
