This paper reviews the main features of the Czech macroeconomic development in the last years with the accent on disinflation and real GDP. The adjustment path of the Czech economy is clear: The decrease in nominal GDP growth has caused a deceleration of inflation on the one side and a drop of growth rates of real GDP and later even a decline in the level of real GDP on the other side. Further the econometric investigation of relations between wages and labour productivity and net inflation, producer prices and gap has been made. As the main factors influencing the disinflation in the last quarters the index of raw materials and foodstuffs has been revealed. The analysis of the impact of real exchange rate on net exports concludes the paper.

SummaryThe paper presents stylized facts of Euroland’s business cycle using aggregated data. The main results are: The determination of turning points in Euroland’s business cycle is not very sensitive to the detrending method used, although the level of the recent output gap depends on it. Investment, net exports and stock building explain the largest share of the swings in real GDP. The types of expenditures - except for net exports - are pro-cyclical with almost no lag or lead. The results for monetary variables are mixed. Prices are counter-cyclical, whereas labour productivity and real wages are pro-cyclical. The cyclical component of industrial production in all member countries shows a positive and over time increasing correlation coefficient with the one in the rest of Euroland.

Purpose This paper aims to model different causal relations among factors interacting with labour productivity in order to recognize the most important factors influencing and influenced by it. Design/methodology/approach Top 60 factors affecting labour productivity were determined and grouped into 5 major groups by reviewing previous research and interviewing relevant experts. The interactions of factors were modelled using system dynamics (SD) approach. The resulting causal loop diagrams obtained from SD were then applied for identifying the most crucial factors influencing and influenced by labour productivity through the decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) method. The impact of factors on each other was finally determined based on the opinions of 63 experts selected from the Iranian construction industry. Findings The results indicated that factors such as fatigue, lack of labour motivation and lack of skill are the most influencing, and factors such as schedule delay and inflation in the cost of execution are the most influenced by labour productivity. In the end, a set of recommendations to improve construction labour productivity was also presented. Originality/value The main contribution of the study is proposing a novel method which is capable of providing insights into how causes and effects of construction labour productivity are interrelated. Furthermore, the proposed method makes this study distinct from previous research in the light of prioritizing factors and offering recommendations according to the interrelationships among factors.

This qualitative study examines the challenges faced by Saudi students in the process of applying to graduateprograms while studying in an anglophone country. Through the lens of gatekeeping scholarship, this study sought toshed light on the role of letter of intent on predicting the success of Saudi students with their graduate programsapplications. Writing a letter of intent in one of the main factors influencing students’ applications. Data collectedwas mainly through semi-structured interviews and analysis of the students’ letters of intent. In conclusion, theletters of intent were found to be one of the defining factors in successful graduate applications

Technological aspects of the synthesis of 2,4-dichlorophenol The main factors influencing the selectivity of chlorophenols synthesis were described. The loss of raw materials and the composition of wastes obtained in a conventional technology of 2,4-D production based on 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) of the 89% purity were presented. The influence of some homogenous catalysts on the selectivity of 2,4-dichlorophenol obtained in phenol and chlorine reaction was examined. Using the combined catalyst enables to chlorinate selectively the monochlorophenols to 2,4-DCP without an undesirable increasing of the 2,6-dichlorophenol and 2,4,6-trichlorophenol contents. The catalyst transformations during the reaction of phenol chlorination were investigated and the method of its elimination after the reaction was elaborated.

The report analyses the impact of the main factors influencing the market price of land in Bulgaria for the period 2000-2018. As a result of the analysis, it is summarized that the change in the price of land is mainly associated with the change in the land rent paid in the country. The price of agricultural land in the country is significantly lower than in a number of European countries, but this is not the case for the land rent paid, which is close to the European average.

Hydroxyapatite (HA) is a calcium phosphate ceramics and HA coating is essential for the medical metallic implants. This paper presents a computational model of HA particle impact behavior in cold spraying. The impact pressure at the predefined contact surface between the HA particle and the Ti substrate is investigated numerically using ABAQUS/Explicit. The effects of particle size, particle velocity and substrate temperature on the impact pressure are examined. A Taguchi’s orthogonal array is employed to arrange the simulation conditions and the simulation results are analyzed to reveal the main factors influencing the impact pressure, which provides a better understanding of the bonding mechanism during cold spraying.

Purpose. To analyze the array of special literature and summarize the information obtained on the features of the white bream (Blicca bjoerkna (Linnaeus, 1758)) and its commercial catch from the Kуiv reservoir. Consider the basic principles of its forecasting, based on the current ecological state of this reservoir, which is of strategic importance for Ukraine. Findings. An overview of modern scientific publications devoted to the peculiarities of the commercial catch of white bream from the Kуiv reservoir, its forecasting and the prospects for using this species in fisheries is presented. The literature data on the specifics of industrial fishing in the Kуiv reservoir are summarized based on the ecological characteristics of this reservoir. The main factors influencing the adaptation of white bream populations to their commercial exploitation are described. The general directions of the impact of anthropogenic pressure on them and their consequences are considered. The prospects of using white bream as an economically valuable species are shown under the condition of rational industrial fishing in the Kуiv reservoir. Practical Value. The review can be useful for scientists, applicants, students, government authorities and private entrepreneurs involved in the process of research and commercial harvesting of living aquatic resources in reservoirs, namely in Kуiv reservoir. Keywords: white bream (Blicca bjoerkna Linnaeus, 1758), Kуiv reservoir, industrial fishing, ichthyofauna.

This paper aims to examine the impact the gross domestic product of the exporting country and the importing country, total tax rate to a commercial profit of exporting country, and importing. As for as, the object of research is the flow of FDI from four countries, namely the Netherlands, Malaysia, Singapore, and Japan to Indonesia. While the methodology used a gravity model specification to model bilateral FDI outflows. Our study finds most real GDP for both the exporting and importing country have consistently positive signs as expected, although generally, only the coefficient of the GDP of the importing country is significant. The coefficient percentage of the total tax rate to commercial profit, both in the exporting country and importing country, also in line with the theory, although both are insignificant.

This study was conducted to examine the factors that influenced the students to venture into online business. There are three main factors that become the objective of the study, namely relationship with interest, lifestyle and financial problems. The study also aims to see how far the relationship of these factors to each other. This study is a descriptive form and uses a questionnaire to obtain the study data. A total of 100 student respondents from various backgrounds of the studies were randomly selected as research samples. The results show that whether maximum or minimum of respondents agree with lifestyle factors while the financial factor and interest factor influencing them to venture into the business field based online. Based on the research, factors as the impact of online business is sustainable and beneficial to the students. This is because the impact of large volume sales can generate lucrative revenue.
