The new reality caused by the coronavirus pandemic opens up the possibility of updating the content of professional training of socially mobile educators by means of health-saving and information-communication technologies. The purpose of the study is to analyse the features of the use of health and IC-technologies in the process of forming a socially mobile teacher in a pandemic. The research methodology includes theoretical analysis and generalisation of psychological and pedagogical sources, elaboration of legal documents in the field of education, study and generalisation of experience of scientific and pedagogical workers, disclosure of basic theoretical provisions, identification and substantiation of key concepts. The authors present a detailed analysis of the concepts of “health”, “health-saving technologies”, “information and communication technologies”, “social mobility”. The purpose and tasks of health-saving and IC-technologies are clarified. Ways to implement and use health-saving technologies in educational institutions during the pandemic COVID-19 have been identified. Methods of application of information and communication technologies in the conditions of distance learning are offered. A number of advantages and disadvantages of ICT in education are identified. The guidelines of successful realisation of a socially mobile teacher in the modern educational reality are determined. It has been found that social mobility as an integrative ability of an individual to adapt to the changing environment and changes dictated by society is perhaps the most important and relevant feature in our time. It is determined that the readiness to implement, combine and use in professional pedagogical activities of health-saving and IC-technologies indicates the formation of social mobility of the teacher. The experience of using health-saving and information-communication technologies by scientific and pedagogical workers of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in the process of becoming and formation of socially mobile educators in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic is described. The practical value of scientific work lies in the substantiation and generalisation of pedagogical conditions for updating the content of professional training of future teachers through the prism of their ability to social mobility

The article is devoted to the analysis of distance learning tools that can be used for teaching translation and to the description of the experience of introducing distance learning into the structure of future translators’ and interpreters’ professional training. Information and communication technologies have significantly changed the workflow of modern translators, who now mainly work on a freelance basis, performing the entire work cycle from translation, editing, quality control and sending the completed translation to a customer or a translation company using a number of technical translation tools. Changes have not bypassed interpreters, because thanks to interpreting management systems and interpreting delivery platforms, they are able to work remotely, and the trend persists. All of this makes distance learning more relevant than ever, because in addition to gaining professional knowledge and developing students’ skills and abilities, it is necessary to develop a culture of working remotely, so the aim of the study is to analyze distance learning tools for future translators and interpreters and to study the experience of introducing distance learning into the structure of professional training by determining the subjective attitude of students to its use. Among the main tools that can be used to provide the distance learning of translation and interpreting, we have identified Zoom, Skype, Google Classroom, Viber and e-mail, which were used to organize distance learning for future translators and interpreters during the national quarantine in March – April 2020. Participants of the anonymous survey included 34 third- and fourth-year students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, who were asked to share their subjective impressions about distance learning, assessing their own attitude to a number of parameters using a 5-point scale. The questionnaire showed a generally positive attitude of students to the distance format (the average result taking into account the answers to all 20 questions of the questionnaire totaled to 3.74) and revealed some shortcomings in the organization and preparation of materials for students’ independent work (too many tasks and the lack of their quality). Distance learning tools such as Google Classroom and Zoom received the highest scores, which can be explained by their ease of use, best learning interactivity and effective feedback among students and instructors.

Twitter has gained attention in recent years as a tool to use in higher education to enhance students’ learning, engagement, and reflective writing. This study explored public health students’ perceptions on the usefulness of Twitter as a learning tool, engagement with their peers, staff, and the broader public health community. Participants were Master of Public Health students from a public university based in Sydney, Australia. A mixed methods approach was used combining content analysis of tweets, an online survey and two focus groups. Students were asked to engage with Twitter by reflecting on each week’s teaching content and by liking and replying to their peers’ tweets. Participation and engagement in this task were high initially and declined toward the end of semester. Most student tweets aligned with topics taught during the semester. Survey and focus group data indicated most students had positive views on using Twitter and reported finding engagement with Twitter beneficial in obtaining current information on health promotion news and trends, increasing their professional networks and allowing them to connect with their peers and teaching staff. Results indicate Twitter is a promising interactive approach to enhance public health students’ engagement and overall learning experience, as well as being useful for professional networking. Larger scale empirical studies are needed to investigate the impact of the use of social media platforms such as Twitter to various learning outcomes longitudinally and beyond this course.

The article is devoted to the actual pedagogical problem-the development of online e-learning in the conditions of digitalization of modern society. This problem is considered taking into account the increasing importance of electronic educational resources in improving the efficiency of the organization of the educational process in a remote interactive mode. The role and significance of the factors influencing the development of e-learning are presented: technical and organizational and methodological support of the educational process, the appropriate level of digital competence of the teaching staff, personal motivation of students. The results of recent studies conducted among students of the Pedagogical Institute of the North-Eastern Federal University (hereinafter-the University) and the Arctic Institute of Culture and Art (hereinafter-the Institute) for a complete picture of the state of network learning among students studying at the Institute and university, reflecting the main characteristics of the current state of digitalization of education. Based on the primary data of the study, the current problems are identified: the lack of contact interaction between the participants, which determines an individual, differentiated approach; compliance with personal conditions (motivation of the student); access to electronic sources of information; increase in the number of independent tasks in the absence of constant feedback from students, etc. The article reflects the approaches to determining the place of online e-learning in the system of professional training of future specialists using modern technologies in the organization of the educational process. The analysis of the obtained results shows that in order to implement the tasks of network learning, namely, the practical mastery of digital competence, training should be aimed at developing students ' sustainable interest in network learning.
