The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has been applied in Indonesia for a long time. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the approach of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) is new in the world of education. When students are introduced to the new learning model, it will make students have a high curiosity and a great desire to learn. Having a great desire to learn will affect student learning outcomes. Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the approach of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) is expected to improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain. This study aims to describe student learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model which is integrated with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) on the subject of elasticity. This type of research is a true experimental research design with pretest-posttest control-design conducted in class XI MIPA 4. The conclusion of this study is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the approach of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) can improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain in learning physics in class XI MIPA 4 SMA NEGERI 2 JEMBER.

Abstract: This article discusses the learning outcomes of high school students using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) approach. The purpose of this article is to describe how student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain in learning physics at SMA Negeri 2 Jember using the PBL model with the STEM approach. This type of research uses true experiment research and the sample of this study is students of class X MIPA 6 in SMA Negeri 2 Jember. Data collected through the method of Student Worksheets (LKS) and tests. The instrument used in this study was a student learning achievement test in the form of a posttest. The data obtained were analyzed using the N-gain test in order to know the increase in student learning outcomes before and after using the PBL model with the STEM approach. The results of this study is the use of the PBL model with the STEM approach can improve student learning outcomes X MIPA 6 in SMA Negeri 2 Jember.

This study aimed to determine the increase in student activity and learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This research is based on the fact that the average score of students is deficient; as many as 18 students have not completed, while 16 students have completed learning. This research is classroom action research conducted in 3 cycles. The method of data collection was carried out through observation. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the test results in cycle 1, cycle 2, and cycle 3 with descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Edmodo in the subject of Animation can improve student learning outcomes. In the first cycle, it was 47%, in the second cycle, it increased to 74%, then in the third cycle it increased to 88%, so with these data, it can be concluded that the achievement of the research success criteria for student learning outcomes has been achieved. Thus, it can be concluded that class IX students' learning outcomes and learning activities in the Lua-Based Network Technology lesson at SMKN 1 SEMENDAWAI SUKU III have increased.

This chapter reviews metacognition in relation to college settings while focusing on ways to use this information to help improve student learning outcomes. Metacognition in relation to critical thinking and student evaluations of their own learning is discussed, specifically focusing on the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) area of mathematics. Next, we will elaborate on a pilot study that focuses on asking students metacognitive questions to gain a better understanding of their metacognitive skills in relation to basic statistics courses. This chapter concludes with a discussion of how incorporating metacognitive and critical thinking strategies can impact student learning.

This research was motivated by the observation in the fourth grade SD Assalaam Bandung, which showed the students do not understand the material presented by educators and educators still use the conventional method of the lectures, the learning process is only centered on the teacher and without involving students so less anttractive and low student learning outcomes ,and this reseach aims to improve student learning outcomes in the theme of togetherness and diversity in class IV SD Assalaam Bandung. Therefore research are trying to improve student learning outcomes by applying the problem based learning (PBL). Research methodology study conducted oy research in the form of classroom action research (PTK), for  research conducted in accordance duites and function of the teacher when implementing the learning in the classroom. With the aims to reflect and to improve the learning process so that their learning outcome. Subjects in the study were students of class IVB SD Assalaam Bandung with the number 20 students consisting of 14 boys and 6 girls. This study was conducted 3 cycles where each cycle consisted of two learning. The research results by using the model of  Problem Based Learning (PBL) in the first cycle of student learning outcomes with a percentage of 26,6%, second cycle 46,6%, and cycle III 86,6%. While for the implementation of learning cycle I 60%, cycle II 76,25%, and cycle III 82,5%. The learning outcomes consist of cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. The cognitive domain obtained the percentage of the first cycle reached 20%, the second cycle reached 30% and the third cycle reached 80%. While the affective domain of the first cycle reached 30%, the second cycle 70%, and the third cycle 90% and for the psychomotor domain the first cycle 30%, the second cycle 40%, and the third cycle 90%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes in the togetherness sub-theme in class IV SD Assalaam Bandung.

Abstrak: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada muatan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari kondisi awal atau pra siklus ke siklus I dan ke siklus II. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan ketercapaian ketuntasan hasil belajar pada pra siklus  yaitu 43 % siswa mendapat nilai tuntas dengan rata-rata kelas 48,6, kemudian pada siklus I meningkat mencapai 70% siswa mendapat nilai tuntas dengan rata-rata kelas 65, kemudian pada siklus II meningkat mencapai 96% siswa mendapat nilai tuntas dengan rata-rata kelas 77,61. Kesimpulan penelitian ini mununjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada muatan IPA. Abstract:  This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK) conducted in two cycles. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes on Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) subject by applying the model of Problem Based Learning (PBL). Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that applying application of learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL) can improve student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes have improved from initial or pre cycle to cycle I and cycle II. This can be proved by the completeness of the learning achievement in the pre cycles of 43% of students get the complete value with the average class 48.6, then in the first cycle increased to 70% of students get the complete value with the average class 65, then in the second cycle increased to 96% of students get the complete value with the average class of 77,61. The conclusion of this research shows that the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes on IPA content.

This research conducted caused by students' score at class X MIPA 4 very low in the vector material. The avarage of score of the daily test obtained by students was 60,5 and it had not yet reached mastery learning. One of the efforts to improve learning outcomes was to use powerpoint as a learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in activity and mathematics learning outcomes on vector material in learning using PowerPoint.This research design used the classroom action research. The research subjects were 36 students of class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collected by using tests and observations.The test used to obtain student learning outcomes in each cycle, while observation used to determine the learning process in each cycle. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average score of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 62.2 and 77.3 in the second cycle. The percentage of student learning completeness in the first cycle was 52.8%, in the second cycle it was 80.6%. The percentage of improvement in student learning outcomes after being given action was 15.29%. So it can be concluded that learning mathematics by using powerpoint media can improve student learning outcomes in class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in the 2019/2020 academic year.

<p><em>This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which consists of two cycles. This PTK has two cycles in one cycle, there are four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were students of grade IV A SDN Pedurungan Lor 01 Semarang, Central Java with a total of 31 students. Data collection techniques using test and non-test techniques. The assessment instrument uses item items and observations of the scoring rubric. The results showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Theme 4 Various Classes IV A SDN Pedurungan Lor 01 Semarang, this is evidenced by the learning outcomes in cycle I, namely 14 students out of 31 students or 45%, while students who completed as many as 17 students from 31 students or 55%. In cycle II, in the initial conditions according to the background of the research, there were 22 students out of 31 students or 71% who had not yet completed it. In cycle II, there were 7 students out of 31 students or 23% who had not completed, while 24 students out of 31 students or 77% who had completed it. This means that student learning outcomes increase from cycle I to cycle II.</em><em> </em><em>The conclusion of this study is that using the Problem Based Leraning learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Theme 4 Various Occupations of class IV A SDN Pedurungan Lor 01 Semarang. </em></p>

Basic Competency in Vocational subjects in Mechanical Engineering, vocational students have always faced the problems associated with engineering science to be done to establish the expected curriculum vocational competence. One solution that is considered suitable to solve the problem is the application of problem based learning, problem-solving method based discussion group. With the implementation of the model is expected to improve learning outcomes and student activities. The research method is a method of Classroom Action Research. The results showed that the application of problem based learning-based discussion group can improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of the N-Gain 0.71 in the high category. The average value of 82.12 in the affective domain of the positive category and the average value of 90.9 in the psychomotor domain of very good category, while the average value of student activities at the low category.
