Recently, the aging society has become a serious problem. Aged people have difficulty to handle much information; we paid attention to the welfare and a disaster prevention cyber city. In this research, we propose the validity of Safe Mobility System cooperating with Human in Collaboration with Cyber City, and show Vehicle Garage Parking Support System as an example.

Industrialized cities - Baotou City specific existing settlement patterns and future settlements trends, the current status of China has entered the aging society, studies the old community of large and medium-sized enterprises in Baotou City, to the "appropriate the aged community "transformation design, in order to take full advantage of existing settlements form, to protect the original neighborhood relations and the relationship between colleagues, transformation of appropriate the old settlements lifelong available. Fully adapt to the current inhabitation form, to achieve reuse, and starting to think about building environment and space reconstruction and improvement from both the content and level to meet the needs of aged people living behavior.

The Mobility Aircraft Availability Forecasting (MAAF) model prototype development and study effort was initiated to help the United States Air Force Air Mobility Command (AMC) answer the question, “How can we accurately predict mission capable (MC) rates?” While perfect prediction of aircraft MC rates is not possible, we investigate a simulation-based risk analysis approach. Current prediction methods utilize “after the fact” analyses and user opinion, making it difficult to perform quick, accurate, and effective analyses of potential limiting factors and policy changes, particularly in time-sensitive situations. This paper describes the MAAF proof-of-concept model and decision support system built to provide AMC managers the dynamic, predictive tools needed to better forecast aircraft availability. The simulation component featured new capabilities for mobility modeling to include dynamic definition of the configuration of a mobility system, dynamic definition of the capabilities of the individual airbases within a mobility system, improved representation of the aircraft objects within the model, and a new approach to modeling aircraft maintenance including the realistic consideration of partially mission capable aircraft. The development efforts and sample experimental results are recounted in this paper.

This paper presents a health promotion system with robot partner for elderly care. Aging society in Japan has been a big serious problem. The number of caregivers is not enough in the current situation and is not expected to substantially increase in future. Hence, comprehensive care and health promotion should be provided to heighten awareness about health. In this study, we built a daily exercise support system with a robot partner utilized as an exercise instructor. Moreover, we propose a human-robot communication model based on self-serving bias. In the experiment, we conduct a demonstration experiment and interview survey to discuss the validity of the communication model.

Abstract An approach of perspective browsing to concurrent design support system is presented based on the methodology of browsing design using the concept of perspective and the data structure called hypergraph. Hypergraph (HG) presents the high functional navigation for browsing design. The perspective model (PERMO) implemented using HG represents designer’s views and is designed to manipulate them in browsing design. An example of bicycle design for the aged people using a prototype of bicycle design support system shows how to conduct perspective browsing in browsing design and its simulation shows the validity of our approach to concurrent design support system.

In recent years, many cases of secondary disasters have occurred owing to failures of irrigation ponds after large disasters such as the Great East Japan Earthquake, Northern Kyushu Heavy Rain, and the Heavy Rain Event of July 2018. At the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO), we have developed the Disaster Prevention Support System for Irrigation Ponds (hereinafter referred to as the DPSIP), which is aimed at sharing disaster information relating to irrigation ponds in times of major disaster. In this paper, we present the specifications of the DPSIP and the applicability of the system is also explained by applying the system to actual disasters and by conducting a verification test.
