This condition of religiosity is explored through the dimensions of ideology, ritual, appreciation, intellectual, and experience. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of religiosity on the psychological well-being of adolescents during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses quantitative methods with measuring tools of religiosity and psychological well-being. From the data processing, it was found that there was a significant positive relationship between religiosity and psychological well-being (r = .635, p = .000, p < .001). The higher the religiosity, the higher the psychological well-being, and vice versa, the lower the religiosity, the lower the psychological well-being. Through the regression test of religiosity on psychological well-being, the results obtained were r2 = .403, p = .000, p < .001. This means that there is a contribution of religiosity to psychological well-being of 40.3%, and there are other factors of 59.7% that affect psychological well-being.The results of this study contribute to research in the psychology of religion and clinical psychology, especially in an effort to increase the role of religiosity in promoting psychological well-being Pandemi Covid-19 telah membawa dampak psikologis yang cukup serius bagi masyarakat termasuk kaum remaja. All human beings experience a transitional stage from puberty to adulthood that involves physical, psychological and cognitive changes (Berk,2013). Thus adolescents have to cope with several stressful life changing situations which can disrupt their psychological well-being. This study intends to find out if resilience and spirituality could be correlates of psychological well-being of a sample of 64 adolescents. The tools used included Brief Resilience Scale by B.W Smith et al. (2008), Scales of Psychological Well-being by C.D Ryff et al. (1999) and Spiritual Health Inventory by Beach & Chappel (1992).   The obtained results show that, there is a significant positive relationship between resilience and spirituality, and resilience and psychological well-being. It also shows the significance of gender difference in resilience. Thus, the results imply that an effort should be made at a very young age to enhance resilience, so that people will experience a better psychological well-being.

Background: Education plays an important role on a personal level because it is related to personal control, a healthy lifestyle, greater income, employment, interpersonal relations, and social support (Mirowsky & Ross, 2003). Self-regulation is the procedure implemented by an individual striving to reach a goal and consists of two inter-related strategies: (1) the identification of the desired out-come and the appraisal of procedures to reach the desired goal (i.e., assessment), and (2) the selection between available approaches to reach the goal and the commitment to the chosen approaches until the goal is reached (i.e., locomotion) (Kruglanski et al, 2000). Self-regulation plays an essential role in academic achievement (Kruglanski et al 1994, 2000). Psychological well-being is a multi-faceted concept composed of six different intra-personal characteristics that describe the fully functional individual (Ryff, 1989). These factors are: positive relationships with others, self-acceptance, environmental mastery, autonomy, purpose in life, and personal growth. We aimed to study the relationship between academic achievement and self-regulation and psychological well-being in Swedish high school pupils. Method: Participants were 160 Swedish high school pupils (111 boys and 49 girls) with an age mean of 17.74 (sd = 1.29). We used the Assessment and Locomotion Scales (Kruglanski et al., 2000) to measure self-regulation and Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scales short version (Clark et al., 2001) to measure well-being. Academic achievement was operationalized through pupils’ final grades in Swedish, Mathematics, English, and Physical Education. The courses take place during either one or two semesters and the grading scale ranges from F = fail to A = pass with distinction. Results: Final grades in Swedish were positively related to two psychological well-being scales: self-acceptance and personal growth; and to the self-regulation strategy of assessment. Final grades in Mathematics were positively related to three psychological well-being scales: self-acceptance, autonomy, and personal growth; and also to assessment. Final grades in English were positively related to one psychological well-being scale: personal growth; and also to assessment. Final grades in Physical Education were positively related to four psychological well-being scales: environmental mastery, self-acceptance, autonomy, and personal growth; and also to the self-regulation strategy of locomotion. Conclusions: A profile consisting of assessment orientation combined with self-acceptance and personal growth leads to the best study results. This understanding is important when supporting pupils in achieving the best possible results in school and thus lay the formation for a continued successful life.

In order to cope with loneliness, university students need functional psychological resources, which can be measured by six-dimensional of psychological well-being (PWB) by Ryff. Thus, this study aims to predict university students’ loneliness using the multidimensional PWB. Loneliness was measured using Revised UCLA Loneliness Scale and PWB was measured using Ryff’s multi-dimensional PWB. A total number of 376 undergradute students in Faculty of Psychology Universitas Padjadjaran Indonesia were participated in this study. The test of correlation using Pearson’s r resulted all dimensions were negatively correlated. Stepwise regression analysis resulted that positive relationship, self-acceptance, environmental mastery, and autonomy were the significant predictors, predicted 74.7% of the variance, of loneliness among participants. These findings indicate that dimensions mentioned can be used as predictors of university students’ loneliness. Sebanyak 376 mahasiswa tingkat sarjana Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Padjadjaran Indonesia berpartisipasi.

Fostering nature connection may promote psychological well-being and enhance proenvironmental attitudes. However, there is limited understanding of what factors influence a person’s nature connection. Using survey responses from 1,000 residents of a large Australian city, we describe the relationship between nature connection and nature experiences at different stages in life, that is, past nature experiences that occurred during childhood, and current, everyday nature experiences. Both past childhood nature experiences and duration of current nature experiences significantly predicted nature connection. The positive relationship between duration of current nature experiences and nature connection was not significantly moderated by past childhood nature experiences. Hence, current nature experiences are associated with high levels of nature connection, even among those lacking childhood nature experiences. This research empirically demonstrates the positive relationship between nature connection and nature experiences, and suggests that it may be equally important to promote nature experiences at any life stage if increasing nature connection is the goal.
