<p><em>The composition of the board commissioners able to make an effective contribution to the outcome of the process of preparing qualified financial statements or possibly avoiding fraudulent financial statements. This study aims to empirically test the influence of the composition of independent board of commissioner on the performance, size of the board of commissioner to financial performance, board of commissioner education background on financial performance. The selected research object is a manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014- 2016. Sample selection using purposive sampling method. The method of analysis used in this study is compound linear regression. The results showed that the composition of the Board of Independent Commissioner had a positive and significant impact on the company's financial performance, the size of the board of commissioner had a negative and insignificant effect on the Company's Financial Performance and the education background of the board of commissioner had a negative but insignificant effect on the financial performance of the company</em></p><p> </p><p>Komposisi dewan komisaris dapat memberikan kontribusi yangefektif terhadap hasil dari proses penyusunan laporan keuangan yang berkualitas atau kemungkin terhindar dari kecurangan laporan keuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh komposisi dewan komisaris independen terhadap kinerja, ukuran dewan komisaris terhadap kinerja keuangan, latar belakang pendidikan dewan komisaris terhadap kinerja keuangan. Objek penelitian yang dipilih adalah perusahaan Manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014- 2016. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode <em>purposive sampling</em>. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi dewan Komisaris Independen berpengaruhpositif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan, ukuran dewan komisaris berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kinerja Keuangan perusahaan dan latar belakang pendidikan dewan komisaris berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan.<em></em></p>

This study aimed to analyze the influence of auditor independence, corporate characteristics, quality auditors and auditor turnover for the integrity of the financial statements. The study population is a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2008 until 2010. The sample selection based on purposive sampling method and obtained a sample of 38 companies. Then analyzed with multiple regression. The results showed that the change of ownership of managers and auditors significantly affect the integrity of the financial statements. While the auditor independence variables, firm characteristics, quality auditor is not significant

Abstract This objective of this research is to investigate  the influence of current ratio, cash ratio, debt ratio to stock returns.  The sample is selected by purposive sampling method, ie sampling technique using a  certain considerations that are relevant  to the selected sample research purposes. The number of samples obtained are 20 BUMN companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of this study indicate that the current ratio and cash ratio as a measurement of financial performance have a positive and significant effect on stock returns. While the debt ratio has a negative and insignificant effect on stock returns. Keywords : Financial Performance, Financial Ratios, Stock Return.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh current ratio, cash ratio, debt ratio terhadap return saham. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, yaitu teknik sampling dengan menggunakan pertimbangan dan batasan tertentu sehingga sampel yang dipilih relevan dengan tujuan penelitian. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 20 perusahaan BUMN yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa current ratio dan cash ratio sebagai pengukuran kinerja keuangan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return saham. Sedangkan debt ratio berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap return saham. Kata Kunci : Kinerja Keuangan, Rasio Keuangan, Return Saham.

A B S T R A C T Study was conducted to determine differences in the quality of earnings before and after the full IFRS convergence in Indonesia in terms of accrual accounting is the quality and persistence of earnings while from the market is the relevance value. Sample selection is done using purposive sampling method with the number of sampale total of 77 companies listed on the Stock Exchange during the period 2010 - 2015. The analysis technique used is linear regression which is then tested different. The results showed that the only variable in terms of higher quality accounting in the period after the full IFRS convergence in Indonesia with significant differences. While variable in terms of quality on the market is not over after a period of convergence of IFRS with no significant differences. A B S T R A K Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kualitas laba sebelum dan sesudah konvergensi penuh IFRS di Indonesia dari sisi akuntansi yaitu kualitas akrual dan persistensi laba sedangkan dari sisi pasar yaitu relevansi nilai. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode purpose sampling dengan jumlah sample sebanyak 77 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI selama periode 2010 – 2015. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier yang kemudian diuji beda. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya variabel dari sisi akutansi yang lebih berkualitas pada periode sesudah konvergensi penuh IFRS di Indonesia dengan perbedaan signifikan. Sedangkan variabel dari sisi pasar tidak menjadi lebih berkualitas pada periode sesudah konvergensi IFRS dengan tidak adanya perbedaan yang signifikan. JEL Classification: M41

<p><em>The Objective of this research is to analyze the factors of financial report fraud with pentagon fraud analysis. This research uses six independent variables which is pressure used financial target and financial stability as proxy, opportunity with proxy  ineffective monitoring, rationalization with change in auditor as proxy, capability with proxy of CEO’s education, and arrogance with proxy frequent number of CEO’s picture, while the dependent variable is fraudulent financial statements proxied by restatement of financial statements. </em><em>This research uses secondary data that is financial report and annual report. The sample of this study is 110 samples from financial statements of financial companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2015-2017 period. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling method. The method of analysis in this study uses logistic regression analysis method.</em><em>The results of this research shows that the financial stability variable and ineffective monitoring are significant in detecting fraudulent financial statements. While financial targets variable, auditor’s change variable, CEO’s education variable, and frequent number of CEO’s picture are not significant in detecting fraudulent financial statements.</em></p>

The study was conducted to investigate the effect of KAP size, solvency, audit tenure, and complexity of operations on audit delay. The data used are secondary data derived from the financial statements of mining sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 - 2018. The sample selection is done by purposive sampling, so that the total sample can be obtained as 57 samples. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression processed with  the SPSS 22 program. The results of the study simultaneously show that the size of the KAP, solvency, audit tenure, and complexity of operations affect the audit delay. While the research results partially state that the solvency and complexity of operations have an influence on audit delay, while the KAP size and audit tenure have no effect on audit delay. From the results of the study, is expected to assist auditors in identifying factor - factor that affect audit delay in optimizing performance and as a material consideration for investors in making investment decisions. This research was conducted to find out effect of independent commissioner, audit committee, and corporate social responsibility on financial performance at Index Kompas 100  in in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2016-2018. Index Kompas 100 company has high market capitalization value, so it is suitable for use as a population. Samples were determined using the purposive sampling method. Research using multiple linear analyses. This research prove that independent commissioner, audit committee, corporate social responsibility have a influence on  financial performance.

This study discusses the changes in earnings and financial ratios based on financial statements of listed companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2009-2012. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) , Non- Performing Loans (NPL) , Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO) , and the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has an influence on incomen changes. The type of data in this study is secondary . Sampling in this study using purposive sampling method . Companies that used a sample of 24 banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2009-2012. This research is quantitative , and statistical tests use the test multiple linear regression. By using regression analysis , it can be seen that the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CA ) , Non Performing Loans (NPL) , Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO) , and the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has a significant effect on earnings changes . Partial test results , the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a positive and significant effect on earnings changes . Non Performing Loan (NPL) had no effect on earnings changes . Operating Expenses Operating Income does not affect the income changes . Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has a positive and significant effect on earnings changes. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of intellectual capital on financial performance and market value of the manufacturing companies. The sample consists of manufacturing companies, which are consistently registered, in the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2010-2012. Intellectual capital was calculated using value added intellectual coefficient (VAICTM). The main components of VAICTM are physical capital (VACA), human capital (VAHU) and structural capital (STVA). Financial performance is measured using Return on Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and Earning per Shares (EPS). Market value is measured using Price Book to Value (PBV) and Price Earnings Ratio (PER). The sampling in this study is using purposive sampling method. Based on the purposive sampling method, it was obtained 71 manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2010-2012. The data analysis was done by using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that: (1) intellectual capital has an effect on the financial performance, (2) intellectual capital has no effect on the market value, (3) financial performance is able to mediate the relationship between intellectual capital and market value.

Public Accounting Firm (PAF) switching in companies follows the regulation number 17/PMK.01/2008 article 3 of the Minister of Finance Republik Indonesia, which is in a period of 6 years or voluntarily. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the size of PAF, financial distress (FD), firm size of client (FSC), client management switching (CMS), audit comitee switching (ACS) to PAF switching voluntarily on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2010-2014. The population in this research are manufacturing companies listed in IDX in 2010-2014. The sample in this study were taken by purposive sampling method and 21 companies are selected as the sample by criteria. These variables are then tested using logistic regression at a significance level of 5 percent. The result showed that the size of PAF, FD, FSC, CMS does not affect PAF Switching and ACS has affect PAF Switching. The limitations of this research, the variables used only five independent variables, the research period only five years, and sample selection is only based on a purposive sampling.
