This study aims to test and determine whether competence and work motivation have an influence on employee performance. The research method used is the verification method with a quantitative approach. The sample used in this research is nonprobability sampling with saturated sampling. So in this study using all populations of 76 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis techniques and to measure the research variables, researchers use a Likert scale. The results of data analysis show that employee competence consisting of intellectual competence, emotional competence and social competence has no influence on the employee performance of PT. EGI. Meanwhile, the results of the data indicate that work motivation which consists of motivator factors and hygiene factors has a strong influence on the performance of the employees of PT. EGI. However, if further tested together the competency and work motivation variables above have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of PT. EGI.

Rainfall is an interesting phenomenon to investigate since it is directly related to all aspects of life on earth. One of the important studies is to investigate and understand the rainfall patterns that occur throughout the year. To identify the pattern, it requires a rainfall curve to represent daily observation of rainfall received during the year. Functional data analysis methods are capable to convert discrete data intoa function that can represent the rainfall curve and as a result, try to describe the hidden patterns of the rainfall. This study focused on the distribution of daily rainfall amount using functional data analysis. Fourier basis functions are used for periodic rainfall data. Generalized cross-validation showed 123 basis functions were sufficient to describe the pattern of daily rainfall amount. North and west areas of the peninsula show a significant bimodal pattern with the curve decline between two peaks at the mid-year. Meanwhile, the east shows uni-modal patterns that reached a peak in the last three months. Southern areas show more uniform trends throughout the year. Finally, the functional spatial method is introduced to overcome the problem of estimating the rainfall curve in the locations with no data recorded. We use a leave one out cross-validation as a verification method to compare between the real curve and the predicted curve. We used coefficient of basis functions to get the predicted curve. It was foundthatthe methods ofspatial prediction can match up with the existing spatial prediction methods in terms of accuracy, but it is better as the new approach provides a simpler calculation.

Currently, more and more banking companies are competing for control of the existing market share by creating customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is the main thing for banks to gain the trust of customers to continue using their services. In this study, there are five variables used, namely Brand Image (X1), Product (X2), Service (X3), Promotion (X4) and Customer Satisfaction (Y). The type of research used in this research is descriptive verification method with a quantitative approach. Data collection is obtained through distributing questionnaires to customers of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk KCP Bayung Lencir which is still active. The sample used in this study amounted to 261 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with data analysis techniques through descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The result of this research is that brand image partially affects customer satisfaction at PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk KCP Bayung Lencir, the product has no effect on customer satisfaction PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk KCP Bayung Lencir, service affects customer satisfaction PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk KCP Bayung Lencir and Promotion has no effect on customer satisfaction at PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk KCP Bayung Lencir. Meanwhile, brand image, products, services and promotions together have an effect on customer satisfaction at PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk KCP Bayung Lencir. The percentage of influence of brand image, products, services and promotions on customer satisfaction is 49.1%, while the rest is influenced by variables or other factors outside of this study.

It is well established that unique physiological information can be obtained by rapidly freezing cells in various functional states and analyzing the cell element content and distribution by electron probe x-ray microanalysis. (The other techniques of microanalysis that are amenable to imaging, such as electron energy loss spectroscopy, secondary ion mass spectroscopy, particle induced x-ray emission etc., are not addressed in this tutorial.) However, the usual processes of data acquisition are labor intensive and lengthy, requiring that x-ray counts be collected from individually selected regions of each cell in question and that data analysis be performed subsequent to data collection. A judicious combination of quantitative elemental maps and static raster probes adds not only an additional overall perception of what is occurring during a particular biological manipulation or event, but substantially increases data productivity. Recent advances in microcomputer instrumentation and software have made readily feasible the acquisition and processing of digital quantitative x-ray maps of one to several cells.

The study of preferred crystallographic orientation (texture) in ceramics is assuming greater importance as their anisotropic crystal properties are being used to advantage in an increasing number of applications. The quantification of texture by a reliable and rapid method is required. Analysis of backscattered electron Kikuchi patterns (BEKPs) can be used to provide the crystallographic orientation of as many grains as time and resources allow. The technique is relatively slow, particularly for noncubic materials, but the data are more accurate than any comparable technique when a sufficient number of grains are analyzed. Thus, BEKP is well-suited as a verification method for data obtained in faster ways, such as x-ray or neutron diffraction. We have compared texture data obtained using BEKP, x-ray diffraction and neutron diffraction. Alumina specimens displaying differing levels of axisymmetric (0001) texture normal to the specimen surface were investigated.BEKP patterns were obtained from about a hundred grains selected at random in each specimen.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to explore the perceptions of special education practitioners (i.e., speech-language pathologists, special educators, para-educators, and other related service providers) on their role as communication partners after participation in the Social Communication and Engagement Triad (Buckley et al., 2015 ) yearlong professional learning program. Method A qualitative approach using interviews and purposeful sampling was used. A total of 22 participants who completed participation in either Year 1 or Year 2 of the program were interviewed. Participants were speech-language pathologists, special educators, para-educators, and other related service providers. Using a grounded theory approach (Glaser & Strauss, 1967 ) to data analysis, open, axial, and selective coding procedures were followed. Results Three themes emerged from the data analysis and included engagement as the goal, role as a communication partner, and importance of collaboration. Conclusions Findings supported the notion that educators see the value of an integrative approach to service delivery, supporting students' social communication and engagement across the school day but also recognizing the challenges they face in making this a reality.
