Abstract. Logistics activities have a big role in a company because it is the core of the company’s activities. The utilization of e-logistics is essential as it will make the company more efficient. PT. XYZ is one of glass tube manufacturer with the production reaching up to 90,000 units of each day that causes the manufacturer takes a lot of components or raw materials, in which the raw materials required by the company are obtained from many suppliers. The process of procurement of supplies is carried out by the purchase order process. Information in the form of purchase order is submitted to the supplier, where the supplier is a partner of the companies involved in the flow of the materials. Logistic does not stop at booking, but includes the logistics flow of demand information of raw materials, as well as the process and stock storage of finished product and raw materials, and to the point where finished goods are shipped to the consumers. With the application of e-logistics, companies are expected to be able to collect and process the flow of information in the process of getting the raw materials and products in the production process, to create and maintain the cooperation between enterprises and suppliers in inventory control so that the process can be carried out efficiently. Keywords: logistic, supply chain management, e-logisticAbstrak.

Implementation of Supply Chain Management is needed to meet consumer demand for agricultural products both for raw materials, as well as fresh and halal products for direct consumption so that they can benefit both farmers and consumers. The purpose of this study was to determine the supply chain mechanism and supply chain flow patterns of agroindustry products and analyze the effect of supply chain management components on improving agro-industry performance. The method attached to the source of the journal relating to the method to be used. The source deals with a deeper review of the FIFO (First In First Out) method in implementing SCM (Supply Chain Management) in agriculture. With this method work will be quickly completed, run effectively, generate profits with high profits. Supply chain is defined as a sequence of decision making processes regarding raw materials, information, and capital undertaken by a company to meet consumer demand. Supply Chain Management activities are implemented starting from the planning of raw materials and then proceed to the production process that is handled by the agrarian industry then the products are stored in warehouses using the FIFO (First In First Out) method then distributed to retailers to be marketed to consumers. Keywords: supply chain management, agro-industry, fifo

Research on sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) has been garnering interest because of its multi-approach in nature. SSCM has emerged as an essential method for organizations to develop and to enhance their competitive strategy through innovative ways in order to satisfy customer basic needs. It facilitates competitive advantage, faster flow of information, material, less response time, speeding up delivery action, better relation and coordination among partners, easy way of information sharing, and increasing order fulfilment rate. Implementing SSCM in organizations like thermal power plants has other benefits such as increasing attention about environmental performance intending the integration of social as well as economic performance. In this chapter, the artificial neural network (ANN) method is used to measure the customer satisfaction after implementing SSCM by thermal power industries.

Supply Chain Management (SCM) has proven to be an effective tool that aids companies in the development of competitive advantages. SCM Systems are relied on to manage warehouses, transportation, trade logistics and various other issues concerning the coordinated movement of products and services from suppliers to customers. Although in today’s fast paced business environment, numerous supply chain solution tools are readily available to companies, choosing the right SCM software is not an easy task. The complexity of SCM systems creates a multifaceted issue when selecting the right software, particularly in light of the speed at which technology evolves. In this chapter, we use the approach of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine which SCM software best meets the needs of a company. The AHP approach outlined in this paper can be easily transferred to the comparison of other SCM software packages.

In order to maintain a competitive position in today’s marketplace, companies must demand a greater level of enterprise ef?ciency. In today’s rapidly changing market, experts argue that it is no longer about becoming a powerhouse but simply about remaining competitive. That is why automating and linking the supply chain has become so imperative. Supply chain management systems link all of the company’s customers, suppliers, factories, warehouses, distributors, carriers, and trading partners. These systems integrate all the key business processes across the supply chain of a company. This chapter explains the objectives of sup-ply chain management and how SAP’s supply chain management system helps companies ful?ll these objectives.

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is the practice of coordinating the flow of goods, services, information and finances as they move from raw materials to parts supplier to manufacturer to wholesaler to retailer to consumer. Different supply chains have been designed for a variety of firms and this chapter discusses some issues in this regard. This chapter attempts to find why we require different supply chain for different companies. In this chapter we discuss the role of stochastic models in supply chain management system, and also discuss other mathematical models for SCM.

The fast-growing number of Halal integrity issues has attracted the scholar's debate on improving integrity in practicing the Halal supply chain. To investigate how firms comply with Halal procedures in supply chain may not possibly provide much potential research gaps. The application of technology in improving Halal supply chain management on blockchain technology should be given urgent priority. The aim of this chapter is to explore the possibility to integrate blockchain technology to improve the use of Halal supply chain management. Blockchain technology will help the Halal based oriented firm in the supply chain to trace the source of the raw materials, products, labeling information, and Halal product distribution to strengthen the supply chain networks. Blockchain technology-driven Halal supply chain shall overcome and surpass issues related to Halal integrity and certifications which could also have an impact globally.

A supply chain is a network of facilities and distribution options that performs the functions of procurement of materials, transformation of these materials into intermediate and finished products, and the distribution of these finished products to customers. In other words, supply chain encompasses all of the activities associated with moving goods from raw-materials stage through to the end user. The information systems needed to monitor all of these activities are a critical part of the mix. Successful supply chain management (SCM), then, coordinates and integrates all of these activities into a seamless process. It embraces and links all of the partners in the chain. In addition to the key functional areas within the organization, these partners include vendors, carriers, third-party logistics companies, and information systems providers.
