ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is three. First, describe the reading skills of the text apresitif fable grade VII SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Second, describing the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Thirdly, describing the contribution of fable text apreciprocative reading skills to text writing skills Fable class VII SMP Negeri 30 Padang.  This type of research is quantitative by a descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contributions. The population of this study is class VII junior high School 30 Padang registered in the school year 2018/2019, which is as many as 254 students. The samples in this study were determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, which is 56 students. This research Data is in the form of scores of test skills read Fable text appreciative and score test results of text writing fable. The results of this study were three. First, the skill of reading a text apresiative fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang is in good qualification (B) with an average value of 74.19. Secondly, the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average of 76.64. Thirdly, there is a contribution of reading skills fable text appreciative to the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang amounted to 51.4%. Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, Keterampilan Membaca Apresiatif, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Fabel

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is three. First, describing the reading skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. Secondly, it describes the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. Third, describing the contribution of reading skills of anecdotal text to the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. This type of research is quantitative by a descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contributions. The population of this study is the XI MA Negeri 3 class students enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, with 250 students. The samples in this study were determined by simple random sampling 25% of the population, which is 61 students. This research Data in the form of scores of test skills reads the understanding of anecdotal text and scores test results of anecdotal text. The Data is obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the reading skills of anecdotal text and test performance to measure anecdotal text writing skills. The results of this study were three. First, the reading skills of understanding anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average value of 85.09. Secondly, the writing skills of anecdote-class students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang are on a good qualifying (BS) with an average of 86.13. Thirdly, there is a contribution of the reading skills of anecdotal text to the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang amounted to 17.56%. Kata Kunci:Kontribusi, Keterampilan, Membaca Pemahaman, Menulis, Teks Anekdot

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describe the reading skills of fable text comprehension of class VII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. Second, describing fable text writing skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. Third, describe the contribution of reading skills to fable text comprehension on fable text writing skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contribution. The population of this study was the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, namely as many as 250 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, which is 48 students. The data of this study were scores on the results of reading skills tests of fable text comprehension and scores on the results of fable text writing skills. The data was obtained through two types of tests, namely objektive to measure reading skills fable text comprehension and performance tests to measure fable text writing skills. The results of this study are three. First, reading skills of fable text comprehension of class VII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average value of 81.31. Second, fable text writing skills of grade VII students of Padang Public Middle School 25 are in good qualification (B) with an average of 77.26. Third, there is a contribution of reading skills in fable text comprehension towards fable text writing skills of class VII students of Padang State Middle School at 53.29%. Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, keterampilan membaca                    pemahaman, keterampilan menulis teks fabel

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe vocabulary mastery Class VII students of SMP Negeri Padang 16. Second, it describes the text of the story of fantasy writing skills grade VII JUNIOR Country 16. Third, vocabulary mastery with correlation describes writing skills text story fantasy grade VII SMP Negeri Padang. 16.  This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this research is the design korelasional. This research population is grade VII SMP Negeri Padang 16. listed on the 2018/2019 school year, that is 284 students. The sample in this research are determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, i.e. 50 students. Research data is a score test results and score vocabulary mastery test results writing skills text story fantasy. Research instrument is an objective test to measure mastery of vocabulary news and performance tests to measure the writing skills text story fantasy. Based on the results of such research, it can be inferred that the skills of listening text news is correlated with writing skills text news. The better mastery of the vocabulary the better news will also enhance the story text writing skills. Kata kunci: Korelasi, Kosakata, Menulis Teks Cerita Fantasi

First, the skills of reading comprehension text description grade VII SMP Negeri Padang 12 are on good qualifications (B) by the value of the average 80.09. Second, the skills of writing text descriptions grade VII SMP Negeri Padang 12 are on good qualifications (B) with an average of 80.86. ABSTRACT This article reveals the contribution of skills reading comprehension to writing skills text exposition grade students VIII SMP Negeri Padang 13. The purpose of this research there are three. First, it describes the skills of reading comprehension  grade VIII SMP Negeri 13Padang. Second, it describes the writing skills text eksposition grade VIII SMP Negeri 13Padang. Third, describing the contribution of the intermediate reading comprehension against writing skills text exposition grade VIII SMP Negeri 13 Padang. This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The  desain used in this research is the design contribution. This research population is grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang are registered on the 13th school year 2019/2020, i.e. as many as 288 students. The sample in this  research are determined by propotional random sampling of 20% of the populations, i.e. 54 students. Research data is a score test results intermediate reading comprehension and score the writing skills test result text exposition. The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the skills of reading comprehension text eksposition and performance tests to measure the skills of writing a text eksposition. The results of the research there are three. First, the skills of reading comprehension grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 13 are on more than enough qualifications (LdC) by the value of the average 75.41. Second, the skills of writing text exposition grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 13 are on good qualifications (B) with an average of 77.37. Third, there is a contribution of reading skills in the exposition of text to the skills of writing exposition texts of class grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 13 at 62.77%. Kata kunci: Kontribusi, Keterampilan, Membaca Pemahaman, Menulis,                         Teks Eksposisi.

The sample in this research are determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, i.e. 40 students. Research data is a score test results intermediate reading comprehension text exposition and score the writing skills test result text exposition. The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the skills of reading comprehension text exposition and performance tests to measure the skills of writing a text exposition. The results of the research there are three. First, the skills of reading comprehension text exposition grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang Panjang  2 are on good qualifications (B) by the value of the average 79.39. Second, the skills of writing text exposition grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang Panjang  2 are on good qualifications (B) with an average of 80.23. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describing reading skills understanding the text description of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang. Second, describe the writing skills of description text for class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang. Third, describe the correlation of reading text description understanding with writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang. The population of this study was seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang who were registered in the 2018/2019 school year with 192 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, which is 48 students. Based on data analysis and discussion, three research results are obtained as follows. First, reading skills understanding the text description of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang in good qualifications. This can be seen from the acquisition of a calculated average of 81.35. Second, the writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang are in good qualification. This can be seen from the acquisition of a calculated average of 77.15. Third, there is a significant correlation between reading skills in the description of text description and writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 33 Padang in the n-1 freedom degree and 95% significant level. H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that the tcount is greater than t table, namely (4.51> 1.68). Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Deskripsi

ABSTRACT The purpose of the research is to describe the reading skills of students' news text comprehension, Second, to describe the skills of writing news texts of students, third, to describe the correlation of reading comprehension of news texts with news writing skills of students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 9 Padang. The population of this research is VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang in the 2019/2020 school year, which is 245 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling 25% of 49 students. The research data scores the results of reading text comprehension test scores and the scores of news text writing skills scores. The research instrument is an objective test for reading text comprehension skills and performance tests for news text writing skills. Research Results First, the reading skills of understanding the news text of good qualifying students (B). Second, the skills of writing news texts of good qualifying students (B). Third, there is a correlation between reading comprehension and news writing skills with news writing skills of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang with degrees of freedom n-1 at 95% confidence level. T value (5.55) is greater than t table (1.68), i.e. titung> ttabel (5.55> 1.68) thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that tcount is greater than t table. It can be concluded that reading text comprehension skills are correlated with news text writing skills. Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Membaca Pemahaman, Teks Berita

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is as follows. First, describe the critical reading skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan. Second, it describes the writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan. Thirdly, analysing the contribution of the reading skills of critical writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan. Type of this research is a descriptive method quantitative research. The design of research i.e. research korelasional. This research population is grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan 2018/2019 school year with a total of 50 people scattered in two classes. A sample of these studies amounted to 50 people. Sampling techniques in the study are the total sampling. Variables this research is critical reading skills as free variables (X) and writing skills text exposition as a variable (Y). The instruments used in this research is an objective test for critical reading skills and test performance for writing skills text Exposition. The results of the research there are three, as follows. First, critical reading skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan qualified enough, with an average value of 57.08 is under the KKM (75). Second, the skills of writing a text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan qualified enough, with an average value of 59.67 is under the KKM (75). Third, there is a positive and significant contribution between critical reading skills with writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan at significant level 95% and the degrees of freedom (dk) = n-1 because thitung > ttabel IE 3.03 > 1.68.  Based on the results of this study it was concluded that there is a linear relationship between critical reading skills with writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan with a confidence level of 95%. In other words, if the student's critical reading skills are good, then the exposition text writing skills students are also good. In contrast, when bad Exposition text skills, then writing skills students also bad Exposition text. Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, Membaca Kritis, Menulis Teks Eksposisi
