The present study is aimed at developing effective guidance program for increasing student’s learning motivation. The present study applies quantitative research approach with nonequivalent pre-posttest control group quasi-experimental design, and nonrandom-purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using inventory, interview, and documentary study. The study comes up with the main finding that the tested guidance program is proven to be effective for increasing learning motivation students of 11th grade at SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung.

Abstrak. Kedisiplinan memiliki peranan penting dalam membentuk pribadi yang taat pada aturan-aturan yang ada dan bertanggung jawab terhadap tugas yang harus dikerjakan. Kedisiplinan dapat meningkat, salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh kesadaran diri. Sehingga perlu adanya pengelolaan kesadaran pada diri untuk memahami, mengenali, mengakui, dan mengekspresikan diri secara akurat. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMK yang memiliki kategori tingkat kedisiplinan yang rendah. Keseluruhan subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 siswa, yang terbagi dalam 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Quasi Experimental Design dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling, dan dengan model desain eksperimen pre test-post test control group design. Uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Man Whitney U-Test dengan nilai z= -3.485 dan  sig (2 tailed)= 0,000 dimana (p<0,01), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan tingkat kedisiplinan yang signifikan antara kelompok yang diberikan pelatihan kesadaran diri dibandingkan dengan kelompok yang tidak diberikan pelatihan kesadaran diri.Kata kunci: Kedisiplinan, Pelatihan Kesadaran diri.Abstract. Discipline has an important role in managing individuals who obey the rules that exist and are responsible for the tasks that must be done. Discipline can increase, one of which is developed by self-awareness. Because it needs to be considered, awareness must be approved, approved, recognized, and approved. The subjects in this study were vocational students who had a low level of discipline category. All subjects in this study were 20 student experiments, which were divided into 2 groups: the experimental group and the control group. The research method used in this study were the Quasi Experimental Design method with a purposive sampling technique and the pre-test design model of the control group design. Hypothesis testing in this study use the Man Whitney U-Test technique with a value of z = -3,485 and sig (2 tailed) = 0,000 where (p <0.01), which on average contains a significant level of discipline compared to the group that is not given self-awareness training.Keywords: Discipline, Self Awareness Training

The AUD study at Al Hikmah Mujahidin Kindergarten and TK Kartika XIX-3 applied a descriptive and quantitative research approach using quasi-experimental techniques. The design carried out has the consideration that, if random grouping is carried out, it will disrupt learning and programs at school. The experimental design used is the non-equivalent control group design. The purpose of the research is to find out and examine the teacher's ability to build ethnomatematic literacy at TK AL Wisdom of Mujahideen and TK Kartika XIX-3. The benefits of research are to help develop the repertoire of theories, knowledge and practices regarding the ability of teachers to develop ethnomatematic literacy. This study produced several findings related to child etnomatematics literacy. Based on the results of the study it was found that the average ethnomatematic literacy before learning did not differ significantly from the experimental-control class. That is, that before learning is carried out, the initial ability difference between the two classes is obtained. Furthermore, after the action was carried out, posttest was carried out to see the final results after being given treatment in both classes. The posttest results on ethnomatematics literacy prove that there is a greater increase in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average posttest of the experimental class is 125.43 with the percentage of achievement that is equal to 91% while for the control group the average is 105.95 with the percentage of achievement that is equal to 82%. Summary of the scores on children's ethnomatematic literacy in the control and experimental classes. The results of the study prove that the actions in the experimental class were able to improve children's ethnomatic literacy better than the control class.

Background of Study: Student period is the most memorable period of one's life time, it includes both happy moments and stressors to cope with, here researcher try to identify the stress level and psychological well being of student be and to identify the affect of physical workout on the psychological well being. Methods: A quantitative research approach and quasi experimental pre test post test control group design was adopted for the study. Fifty subjects were selected bypurposive sampling technique. The subjects were assigned either to experimental group (n=25) or control group (n=25). The psychological wellbeing was measured using Ryff’s scale of psychological wellbeing. Results: The study showed that the students have various stress and the physical workout is effective in improving psychological well being, This shows there is no association between psychological wellbeing and selected demographic variables of the students. Conclusion: concluded that physical workout is effective in improving psychological wellbeing among students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan MMI (interaktif multimedia) melalui Sugestopedia motivasi belajar siswa dalam pelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan model Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK AL HALIM Garut 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji korelasi berganda, ternyata (3,44 atau 5,72) dapat dinyatakan bahwa korelasi ganda adalah signifikan, artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan MMI melalui metode Sugestopedia dengan motivasi belajar dalam pelajaran bahasa Inggris. Hasil uji hipotesis kedua dengan t-test diperoleh nilai (9,212) (2,6933) dan berada di area penerimaan maka Ho ditolak, artinya ada perbedaan motivasi belajar yang signifikan antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan MMI melalui metode Sugestopedia dengan siswa belajar dengan metode Konvensional dalam pelajaran bahasa Inggris. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of MMI (interactive multimedia) through the suggestopedia of student learning motivation in English lessons. The research approach used in this research is quantitative approach with Quasi Experimental Design research design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design model. The sample of this research is student X SMK AL HALIM Garut 2 class. The results showed that the results of multiple correlation test, it turns out (3.44 or 5.72) it can be stated that the double correlation is significant, meaning there is a significant relationship between the use of MMI through the method suggestopedia with learning motivation in English lessons. Result of second hypopenelitian test with t-test obtained value (9,212) (2,6933) and reside in area of acceptance hence Ho is rejected, meaning there are difference of learning motivation significant between student learn using MMI through method of suggestopedia with student learn by method Conventional in English lessons.

Proses pendidikan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan peserta didik mengalami peningkatan kemampuan akademik secara kuantitatif dan memiliki motivasi untuk belajar tinggi. Kedua hal ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh metode yang digunakan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Course Review Horay merupakan salah satu metode yang diyakini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan akademik dan motivasi belajar pada anak karena dapat meningkatkan pemahaman anak dan menghasilkan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan. Jenis penelitian adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan NonEquivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Inpres Bakung II Kota Makassar. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V yang berjumlah 78 peserta didik. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 40 peserta didik kelas V-A dan 38 peserta didik kelas V-B. Penentuan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Model pembelajaran Course Review Horay dapat meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran, (2) Model pembelajaran Course Review Horay dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, (3) Terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. Dan (4) Terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Education aims to improve academic abilities and learning motivation of students. Both of these are highly influenced by the method used by teachers in learning process. Course-Review-Horay is one method that is believed to improve academic ability and learning motivation of children because it can increase children's understanding and generate a fun learning environment. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design with NonEquivalent Control Group Design. This research was conducted at SD Inpres Bakung II Makassar City. The population of this study were all grade V students, counting for 78 students. The sample of this study consisted of 40 students in class V-A and 38 students in calss V-B. The decision of the experimental group and the control group was done by using purposive sampling. Hypothesis test used was Wilcoxon test. The results show that; (1) Course-Review-Horay learning model can increase student motivation in learning, (2) Course-Review-Horay learning model can improve student learning outcomes, (3) There is an influence of the implementation of Course-Review-Horay learning model to students' learning motivation, and (4) There is an influence of the implementation of Course-Review-Horay learning model to students’ learning achievement.

The study aims to test the effectiveness of career guidance program to develop vocational identity of students. The study uses a quantitative approach with quasi experimental methods and non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted in SMK Muhammadiyah Imogiri Yogyakarta by taking a research subject that is a class XI student who is determined by random cluster sampling technique. An instrument which is used is the scale of vocational identity and observation guidelines. Results showed empirically career guidance program interventions based theory of Super effective to develop vocational identity of students. This research can be a reference for school counselor in developing vocational identity of students in the school especially those who are in adolescence

ABSTRACT: SEFT THERAPY (SPIRITUAL EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE) FOR ANXIETY IN DEALING WITH LABORBackground: If the concern and anxiety of pregnant women is not handled seriously, it will have an impact and influence on physical and psychological aspects, both on the mother and the fetus. Pregnant women who experience anxiety in the face of labor are afraid of being operated on, afraid of spending a lot of money, fear of not being able to care for their babies properly, fear of their baby dying, fear of pain during delivery. One of the techniques for dealing with anxiety is SEFT therapy.Objective: to determine the effect of Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) on anxiety in dealing with labor process.Methodology: this research is a quasi-experimental design with pre and post-test with control group design. The sample in this study was 25 trimester III pregnant women. The sampling technique was using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used the DASS 42 questionnaire. The results of the data normality test were normally distributed so that the data were analyzed using the paired t-test.Results: The results showed that the average score of maternal anxiety before therapy was 13.48 (moderate) while after therapy was 7.88 (normal). The bivariate test results obtained p value 0,000.Conclusions: Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) can overcome the anxiety of pregnant women in facing labor.Suggestions: It is hoped that this therapy can be applied in the practice of midwifery to care for pregnant women, especially pregnant women who experience trauma or have anxiety in their pregnancy. Keywords: anxiety, pregnant women, spiritual emotional freedom technique. ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kekhawatiran dan kecemasan pada ibu hamil apabila tidak ditangani dengan serius akan membawa dampak dan pengaruh terhadap fisik dan psikis, baik pada ibu maupun janin. Ibu hamil yang mengalami kecemasan dalam menghadapi persalinan disebabkan karena ibu takut dioperasi, takut akan mengeluarkan biaya yang banyak, takut tidak bisa merawat bayinya dengan baik, takut bayinya meninggal, takut kesakitan saat persalinan. Salah satu teknik untuk menghadapi kecemasan adalah denga terapi SEFT.Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh Terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) terhadap kecemasan dalam menghadapi persalinan.Metodologi penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan quasi-experimental dengan rancangan pre and post test with control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 25 ibu hamil trimester III. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner DASS 42. Hasil uji normalitas data berdistribusi normal sehingga dianalisis data menggunakan uji paired t-test.Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa skor rata-rata kecemasan ibu sebelum terapi 13,48 (Sedang) sedangkan sesudah terapi menjadi 7,88 (normal). Hasil uji bivariate didapatkan p value 0,000.Kesimpulan: Terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) mampu mengatasi kecemasan ibu hamil dalam menghadapi persalinan.Saran: Diharapkan terapi ini dapat diaplikasikan dalam praktik kebidanan perawatan ibu hamil khususnya ibu hamil yang mengalami trauma atau mempunyai kecemasan dalam kehamilannya. Kata kunci: Kecemasan, ibu hamil, Terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan Keterampilan Proces Sains (KPS) siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training dan pembelajaran konvensional mengenai materi pokok elastisitas dan hukum Hooke di SMA. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain two groups pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Medan. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling yang terdiri dari dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan observasi aktivitas KPS siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan pengujian hipotesis uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan KPS yang signifikan antara penerapan menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional dengan nilai sig. 0,000 pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji N-Gain Score dengan penerapan model pembelajaran inquiry training lebih tinggi dalam meningkatkan KPS siswa sebesar 0,70 dalam kategori tinggi dibandingkan KPS siswa dengan penerapan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 0,59 dalam kategori sedang. Kata kunci: keterampilan proses sains; model pembelajaran inquiry training. ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the differences in Science Proses Skills (SPS) of students using inquiry training learning model and conventional learning about the subject matter of elasticity and Hooke’s law in High School. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with two groups of pretest-posttest design. The population of this research is all students of class XI MIPA in Public Senior High School 5 Medan. The sample was taken by a purposive sampling technique that consists of two groups, namely an experimental group and a control group. The data collected technique has been done by tests and observations activities SPS student. The data in this research was analyzed a hypothesis-testing t-test. The results showed significant differences in SPS between the application of using inquiry training learning models compared to conventional learning with the value of sig. was 0.000 at the significance of level 0.05. Based on the results of the N-Gain Score test with the application of the inquiry training learning model is higher in increasing SPS of the students by 0.70 in the high category compared to SPS of students with the application of conventional learning by 0.59 in the medium category. Keywords: science process skills; inquiry training learning model.

This study aimed to analyze the differences between students' science process skill in real laboratory and virtual laboratory at SMP Negeri 1 Candi, Sidoarjo. This study was quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design that was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Candi. The population of this study was 321 students. The sample was selected by purposive sampling considering the equality of ability in the practicum. The Data was collected by using pre-test and post-test. The result revealed that the Fvalue 3,34 &lt; Ftable 3,98 and significant value 0,07 &gt; 0,05, which means there is no difference between student' science process skills in real laboratory and virtual laboratories in SMP Negeri 1 Candi.
