Internet of thing (IoT) is a system that will change the order of human life and industrial operations. In the future, objects that are operated daily with human interaction will be equipped with internet connectivity which is equipped with various sensors so that they are able to communicate and act on the information obtained without human intervention. The problem is that the ecosystem has not been fully developed as well as from the world of education which will prepare its human resources. Apart from that, the industrial sector which is predicted to be the largest user is still considering various things such as cost, security, non-conformity with the existing system and the ability of its resources. The system created is an effort to develop knowledge in the IoT field as an effort to bridge the need for human resources, especially at the Vocational High School (SMK) level. This IoT application for electrical load control is designed and built using the main components of NodeMcu V3, 4 channel relay, and Android with the Blynk application installed. Electrical load control commands are given using the Blynk application via Android and delivered to the NodeMcu V3 module using a Wifi intermediary and from NodeMcu V3 forwarded to 4 channel relays to control electrical loads in the form of ON and OFF. The results of the test show that the system built can operate properly in controlling electrical loads

This study aims to identify and analyze opportunities, challenges, constraints and efforts of vocational high school or Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) to create graduates especially accounting programs that are able to manage village funds. The object of the study are accounting program students of SMK PGRI 2 Cibinong. Data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data is collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis methods use data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study show that the SMK PGRI 2 Cibinong Bogor aware of the opportunities for SMK graduates of the accounting program to fill the scarcity of skilled human resources to manage village funds. But teachers have less experience in the practice of village fund accounting so that they do not have confidence in  teaching. Other constraints are less discussion of government accounting in the accounting syllabus and the absence of a standard handbook/module for teachers to teach accounting subjects.

Background: Yeasts play diverse roles in human life. Since ancient times, these micro organisms have been used to produce food products and beverages including bread and beer. Nowadays, the biotechnological products of yeast are some of the main components of commercial products. Objective: Some species of yeast such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Saccharomyces boulardii are recognized as probiotic yeast with extensive applications in the food and drug industries. However, certain species like Kluyveromyces marxianus are still not recognized as probiotic micro organisms despite their widespread industrial usage. In this study, the application of K. marxianus in preparing food and the medicinal product was reviewed in terms of its beneficial or harmful effects. Methods: Pub Med, Google Scholar, Scopus, and Science Direct databases were searched by using “Probiotics”, “Yeast”, and “Kluyveromyces marxianus”. Results: The findings suggest that K. marxianus can be recognized as a probiotic yeast species. Conclusion: It can be concluded that K. marxianus may be considered as a probiotic micro organism with a variety of commercial and medical applications.

Migration is one of the oldest and most used strategies for overcoming negative social issues. Despite the fact that it is historically deeply rooted, environmental migration as a social phenomenon has only recently become the subject research of numerous scientific fields. However, the study of current environmental migration is characterized by a number of issues, such as absence of an adequate definition and multi-causality of environmental migration. In this paper, through conceptual framework, author analyzed two main questions: who are environmental migrants and what reasons cause environmental migration. Due to the destruction of the global environmental balance, as well as accumulated environmental disturbances, it is likely that environmental migration will increase in future and there is nowhere you cannot make more use of scientific and professional projection of the future than in demographic and environmental spheres of human life. There is no doubt that our future is unpredictable. However, the environmental factors influencing the pattern of human interaction with the environment must be taken into account when projecting future development of the modern society. Such is the context in which the complex relation among migration, change and the environment has to be studied. In order to establish the basis for controlling environmental migration caused by negative changes in the environment, it is necessary to adopt a consistent strategy instead of ad hoc activities that are being used. In this paper, author analyzed societal response for the challenges caused by environmental migration, specifically regarding actions related to governing environmental migrations.

The quality of human life is linked to the exploitation of mining resources. The Exploitability Index (EI) assesses the actual possibilities to enable a mine according to several factors. The environment is one of the most constraining ones, but its analysis is made in a shallow way. This research is focused on its determination, according to a new preliminary methodology that sets the main components of the environmental impact related to the development of an exploitation of industrial minerals and its weighting according to the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). It is applied to the case of the ophitic outcrops in Cantabria (Spain). Twelve components are proposed and weighted with the AHP and an algorithm that allows for assigning a normalized value for the environmental factor to each deposit. Geographic Information Systems (GISs) are applied, allowing us to map a large number of components of the environmental factors. This provides a much more accurate estimation of the environmental factor, with respect to reality, and improves the traditional methodology in a substantial way. It can be established as a methodology for mining spaces planning, but it is suitable for other contexts, and it raises developing the environmental analysis before selecting the outcrop to be exploited.

In modern aircraft, energy supply management has become a critical matter, since many aboard electrical loads have to be supplied, especially those related to flight safety. However, at the same time, the size and weight of electrical generators must be limited because of their on-board installation. In this paper, the Mixed Integrated Linear Programming (MILP) methodology has been used to formulate the Supervisor definition of the direct current (DC) microgrid (MG) on-board system with an extension for the programmable loads. Due to the problem of dimension increase, two methods have been presented and tested to perform optimal energy management (EM) aboard an aircraft: the Branch and Bound (B&B) and the Linear Regression Approximation (LRA). Finally, numerical simulations and results have been provided to validate the proposed optimization methodologies, according to the dimensions and the complexity of the problem.

Articular cartilage is constantly exposed to high loads. Wearing out of joints due to aging, as well as their poor functioning, is a common problem leading to a significant decline in the quality of human life. Lubricin is one of the main components of the biological lubrication system, it is a surface-active mucinous glycoprotein, which plays an important role in cartilage integrity. Its main function is to protect the cartilage surfaces from excessive friction – a necessary condition for maintaining the health of mammal joints. Moreover, lubricin has growth-regulating properties, it participates in the maturation of the subchondral bone and prevents cell adhesion. Although the molecule of lubricin was discovered almost half a century ago, there is still not much data available. The molecule has a great potential in medical applications. Studying lubricin can help solve problems caused by joint diseases, such as osteoarthritis. This review presents up-to-date information about structural and functional features of lubricin, its role in maintaining the integrity of articular cartilage, which can serve as a basis for the development of chondroprotectors or as a material to improve existing joint prostheses.

Abstract : This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. The independent variables of this study are: (X1) Economy, (X2) Total Population. The model chosen in this study is the Random Effect Model (REM).            This type of research is descriptive and associative research, the data used in this study are secondary data using panel data techniques during the 2015-2018 period. Documentation data collection techniques obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and BPH Migas. Data were analyzed using the Regression Panel.   The results of this study indicate that: (1) The economy has a positive and significant effect on demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. This means that as the economy increases, the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia also increases. Indonesia's energy consumption is dominated by fossil energy, especially fuel. Final energy consumption consists of various sectors, namely households, industry, transportation, commercial, and others. Energy is very much needed in carrying out Indonesia's economic activities, both for consumption needs and for the production activities of various economic sectors. (2) The population has a positive and significant effect on the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. This means that the greater the population, the higher the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. From year to year the population of Indonesia as one of the developing countries in the world continues to experience growth. This growth has had various impacts on aspects of human life. One aspect that is quite affected by the increase in population is the use of energy to support the necessities of life which includes the industrial sector, households, transportation and so forth. Starting from 2017, the management policy and education authority of Vocational High School in district region is taken over by the provincial government. In order to distribute the services to Vocational High School in several regions, the provincial government applies data service in online. To support online data service between the provincial education office and the Vocational High School in several regions, it is needed the supports of adequate IT infrastructure. The IT infrastructure components cover human resources and IT assets in form of hardware and software. To discover the maturity level of IT infrastructure in each Vocational High School, it is required analysis of IT human resources capability and IT asset owned. The research method used was COBIT 5 framework with a set of best practices which able to facilitate the management to assess and mitigate risks, as well as provide improvement recommendations. Subdomain focus used for evaluations and recommendations were APO07 and BAI09. The results obtained by capability level of each subdomain is at level 1 namely Performed Process that organization performs a process to achieve the purpose with improvement recommendations to Level 2 namely Managed Process.

Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept adopted in nearly every aspect of human life, leading to an explosive utilization of intelligent devices. Notably, such solutions are especially integrated in the industrial sector, to allow the remote monitoring and control of critical infrastructure. Such global integration of IoT solutions has led to an expanded attack surface against IoT-enabled infrastructures. Artificial intelligence and machine learning have demonstrated their ability to resolve issues that would have been impossible or difficult to address otherwise; thus, such solutions are closely associated with securing IoT. Classical collaborative and distributed machine learning approaches are known to compromise sensitive information. In our paper, we demonstrate the creation of a network flow-based Intrusion Detection System (IDS) aiming to protecting critical infrastructures, stemming from the pairing of two machine learning techniques, namely, federated learning and active learning. The former is utilized for privately training models in federation, while the latter is a semi-supervised approach applied for global model adaptation to each of the participant’s traffic. Experimental results indicate that global models perform significantly better for each participant, when locally personalized with just a few active learning queries. Specifically, we demonstrate how the accuracy increase can reach 7.07% in only 10 queries.

The success in implementing the demand-driven approach in Vocational High Schools (VHS) can be realized by understanding the misalignment that occurs between graduate skill competency and workforce demand by the industry. This study aims at describing the precedence between the VHS graduates and the businesses/industrial sector (BS/IS) portraying from the regional potential perspectives. The research data was collected from documents and survey forms distributed to (BS/IS) within the research population. The document analysis was employed to collect information on programs offered at VHS, existing VHS students enrollment, and the value of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in studied provinces. An online survey was distributed to all VHS graduates and BS/IS employers. The content validity was carried out prior actual study to ensure the validity of the instrument. A descriptive analysis was performed to gather information pertaining to developed research objectives. The precedence of the academic programs with the GRDP was determined based on 5% of criteria differences. The results found that there is a misalignment between the academic programs and the VHS students enrollment towards the region job potentials in each province in Indonesia. In addition, the research also found that the competency of VHS graduates related to the theoretical knowledge, the job characteristics, and the workforce skills were at moderate level. The implication of the study offers salient notion on minimizing the precedence that occurs between the supply and demand in the form of graduates supply to workforce and at the same time, fulfilling the workforce requirements demand by the industries. It is suggested on the capabilities of educational institutions in tweaking into demand-driven approach in making sure the academic program is relevant and sustainable.
