AbstractIn the market economy, the financial system includes a set of specialized markets, where the demand of financial resources is faced with the supply, through specific mechanisms and within a framework regulated by the financial authorities. At the macroeconomic level, the major importance of the financial system lies in the fact that it ensures, through the markets that it consists of, the mobilization of the existing financial resources available in the economy at a given time and their transfer to various investment projects. In fact, the mission of the financial system is to finance the real economy. In a versatile economic environment, the financial system is often subjected to pressure factors, shocks that can affect its “well-being”. In this context, the authors, using specific scientific research methods, aimed to investigate and highlight certain main aspects of the methodological and pragmatic framework concerning the resilience of the national financial system to different pressure factors.

In the article the problem of the interconnection of social philosophy and social psychology is considered. The dialectic of their relationship is analyzed. Based on the work of domestic philosophers and psychologists, the author reveals the methodological nature of the principles of social philosophy to determine the essence of social psychology. The importance of the researches of G. Steintal, M. Lazar, V. Wundt, G. Lebon and G. Tarde for the development of social psychology as a scholar discipline is investigated. It is emphasized that social philosophy and social psychology are complementary. Social philosophy is based on the theoretical and methodological principles of analysis, and social psychology is the concrete factual material of individual and super-individual being, since empirical research methods occupy a significant place in social psychology, the role of which is much less in social philosophy. Social philosophy uses the theoretical and methodological principles of analysis, and social psychology is distinguished by the concrete factual material of individual and super-individual being. Empirical research methods occupy a significant place in social psychology, their role is much less in social philosophy.

Support in the Russian Federation of entrepreneurship, oriented in its activities to the implementation of the principles of the Islamic economy, despite the enormous potential in ensuring economic growth and the well-being of citizens, is practically absent, as is such entrepreneurship itself. There are some similarities with the support of small and medium-sized businesses, and significant differences caused by the peculiarities of the origin and the procedure for providing financial resources, adherence to religious and ideological postulates and dogmas. It is necessary to transfer financial support for such entrepreneurship from the banking sector to the sector of the real economy, track the sources of funds origin, and implement special legislative measures for the provision of support. The purpose of the study is to determine, within the framework of state support for small and medium-sized businesses, acceptable measures of state support for entrepreneurship, oriented in its activities to the implementation of the principles of the Islamic economy. Research methods - analysis of statistical information, regulatory documents governing the support of small and medium-sized businesses, information on the Internet, synthesis of the results and conclusions of the study. Research results: clarified the concept of "entrepreneurship in the Russian Federation, oriented in its activities to the implementation of the principles of Islamic economy", shows the possibility of applicability of measures of state support for small and medium-sized businesses to entrepreneurship, oriented in its activities to the implementation of the principles of the Islamic economy.

The transition of the Russian economy from plan to market is considered at a qualitative level. The analysis of economic dynamics in the transformation paradigm is conducted. The main stages of the transition process are discussed. Bonuses and costs due to the transition to market economy are considered. The reasons for the outstripping growth of well-being as compared to the growth of output are discussed. The signs of exhaustion of the potential of factors ensuring an abnormally high rate of recovery and accompanying welfare growth are discussed. The conclusion is made that the transformational recovery has been completed. The Russian economy has moved to the stage of development with relatively low growth rates of output and welfare, typical for stable (nontransition) economies.

Obtaining dietetic licensure in Ontario requires completion of a Dietitians of Canada (DC) accredited four-year undergraduate degree in nutrition and an accredited post-graduate internship or combined Master’s degree program. Given the scarcity of internship positions in Ontario, each year approximately two-thirds of the eligible applicants who apply do not receive a position XX, XX, XX, XX, XX, XX, in press). Anecdotally, not securing an internship position is known to be a particularly disconcerting experience that has significant consequences for individuals’ personal, financial, and professional well-being. However, no known empirical research has yet explored students’ experiences of being unsuccessful in applying for internship positions. Fifteen individuals who applied between 2005 and 2009 to an Ontario-based dietetic internship program, but were unsuccessful at least once, participated in a one-on-one semi-structured interview. Findings reveal that participants’ experiences unfold successively in four phases that are characterized by increasingly heightened emotional peril: naïveté, competition, devastation, and frustration. The authors conclude that the current model of dietetic education and training in Ontario causes lasting distress to students and hinders the future growth and vitality of the dietetic profession. Further research is required to understand the impact of the current model on dietetic educators, internship coordinators, and preceptors as coincident participants in the internship application process.

In the context of the need for sustainable development of the national economy and joining the group of leading countries — technology suppliers, the organization of a technology transfer system, which ensures the transition of the results of innovative activities from the stage of scientific research to the stage of practical application, becomes one of the most important tools for the scientific and technological development of the country. Technology transfer is a rather complex system with a sufficient variety of participants and resources, which are the “tool of the initiative and communication plan” that promote and are necessary for continuous innovation in the modern economy. The tools and mechanisms of technology transfer are discussed in the article, a model for the implementation of international technology transfer in UkrISTEI through the Automated system for the formation of interstate information resources, the International technological platform for the technology transfer of collective use, the Interregional Office for the Transfer of Knowledge and Technologies, the Open Innovation Platform was presented; these objects are participating parts in export and import of innovative technologies and form a modern mechanism for the transfer of these technologies between countries. The process of technological transfer necessary to assess the benefits obtained as a result of technology transfer and ways to achieve these benefits has been investigated. The authors of the article presented the relevance of scientific research in the field of technological transfer, which is explained by the following reasons: effective organization of the technology transfer process contributes to an increase in the implementation of state innovation programs in relation to the modernization and innovation of the real economy; technology transfer facilitates the continuous movement of research and development results (projects) into the industrial sector of the economy; the efficiency of technological transfer makes it possible to accelerate the formation of scientific, technological and industrial ties, as well as to strengthen the position of national production in the world market of science-intensive developments.

Abstract Solid evidence has shown financial resources play important roles in housing decisions among older adults. Despite the growing research on the joint assessment of income and assets as valid economic well-being, little attention is paid to its role in relocation in old age. Drawing from the Behavioral Model of Elderly Migration, this study examined to what extent financial resources are associated with the likelihood of moving in later years. The data came from the 2017 Panel Study of Income Dynamic (PSID). A sample of 1354 people, 65 years and older, was used in the analyses. We used the annuitized approach, which is different from conventional approaches that assume people draw down all available assets to satisfy daily needs and leave no assets for use in later years. We (1) assessed annuitized assets based on the 2019 IRS Mortality Table, (2) assessed yearly income using supplementary income (i.e. income plus non-discretionary expense). A final indicator of the summed score was used in a logistic regression to predict the likelihood of moving. A set of covariates known to affect later- year relocation at an individual level (e.g. health condition, living arrangement change), environmental level (e.g. rural, non-metro area) are controlled for. In clear conflict with previous studies, we found annual financial resources did not significantly influence relocation among older adults. The notable absence of the well-known role of the economic factor provides critical initial evidence about the importance of simultaneous assessment of financial resources for the literature on later year relocation.
