Sukasada Sub-District is a region that is largely a hilly area with steep slopes, rainfall intensity is high enough and unstable ground conditions. This leads that the Sub-District of Sukasada becomes potential for the occurrence of landslides. Mitigation effort is therefore necessary to reduce the risk of landslides that may occur. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of threats, vulnerabilities and capacities of level landslides in Sub-District of Sukasada. In addition to the above objectives, the study also aims to formulate strategies for disaster risk reduction of landslides in the Sub-District of Sukasada. The results showed the threat of landslides in the Sub-District of Sukasada is covering 11.169 hectares or 69,51% of the total area. High threat level area is around 727 hectares, the threat level is covering 7.717 hectares and a low threat level area is around 2.725 hectares. The level of vulnerability of landslides in Sub- District of Sukasada ranges from moderate to high. The highest vulnerability level (0.83) is located in some villages, such as: Pancasari, Pegayaman, Panji and Panji Anom Village. While the lowest level of vulnerability (0.66) is in Padangbulia Village. The level of local capacity to landslides in the Sub-District of Sukasada is low, with the resistance area index of 40,25 or capacity level of 0,2349. The level of risk of landslides in the Sub-District of Sukasada is classified as moderate to high. Areas with moderate risk levels are covering 2.032 hectares and a high level of risk covering 7.171 hectares. Strategies that can be done to cope with disaster risk are to reduce the threat, reduce vulnerability and increase capacity. Areas with moderate risk level can be done non-structural mitigation. Structural mitigation can be done in areas with a high level of risk.

This paper explores the extent of change in acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) risk level and in the numbers of AIDS-related risk behaviors in 602 inner-city adolescents as they enter young adulthood. Youths' risk level for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection during adolescence was categorized as high (engaging in prostitution, male homosexual or bisexual activity, or injectable drug use or having ulcerative sexually transmitted diseases), moderate (having six or more sex partners in a 1-year period or nonulcerative sexually transmitted diseases), or low (none of the above). Although a proportion at high or moderate risk during adolescence did move to lower risk levels by young adulthood, the overall risk level stayed fairly stable: 45% were at high or moderate risk levels during adolescence, and 35% were at those levels by young adulthood. Then change in the total number of risk behaviors engaged in by the youths was examined. Knowledge about AIDS or HIV infection and its prevention was not associated with any change in risk behavior, nor were the number of sources of information about the epidemic, acquaintance with those who are infected, estimates of personal risk, or exposure to HIV-test counseling. In fact, youths whose risk behaviors increased the most were more likely to know someone who had died of AIDS and to estimate their own risk as high. Most youths reported that they did not use condoms regularly, disliked them, and had little confidence in their protective ability. Changes in preventive strategies and further research on the causes of behavior change are needed.

PT. RK is one of the major international steel producing companies. This study aims to determine the potential hazards and the value of the level of risk that is likely to occur in the new plant owned by PT. RK i.e. the gas cleaning system area which is currently in the process of entering 95% progress. This study uses the Hazard & Operability Study (HAZOPs) method in analyzing risks in the gas cleaning system area of PT. RK. The Hazard & Operability Study (HAZOPs) method was used in this study because this method is very suitable for a new plant to be used. Based on the identification of potential hazards and risk analysis that has been done in the area of gas cleaning system using the HAZOPs method, it was found that 11 deviations that might occur from all existing nodes, i.e. for extreme risk levels of 1 (one) deviation or 9%, level high risk of 2 (two) deviations or 18%, moderate risk level of 6 (six) deviations or 55% and low risk level of 2 (two) deviations or 18%.Keyword : Gas Cleaning System, HAZOPs, Potential of Hazard, Risk Levels PT. RK merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur besar penghasil baja berskala internasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi bahaya dan nilai level risiko yang kemungkinan terjadi di plant baru milik PT. RK yaitu area gas cleaning system yang saat ini proses pekerjaannya sudah memasuki progress 95%. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Hazard & Operability Study (HAZOPs) dalam menganalisa risiko di area gas cleaning system  PT. RK.  Metode Hazard & Operability Study (HAZOPs) digunakan dalam penelitian ini dikarenakan metode ini sangat cocok untuk sebuah plant baru yang akan digunakan. Berdasarkan identifikasi potensi bahaya dan analisa risiko yang telah dilakukan di area gas cleaning system dengan menggunakan metode HAZOPs, didapatkan bahwa 11 penyimpangan yang kemungkinan terjadi dari semua node yang ada yaitu untuk level risiko extreme sebanyak 1 (satu) penyimpangan atau sebesar 9%, level risiko high risk sebanyak 2 (dua) penyimpangan atau sebesar 18%, level risiko moderate sebanyak 6 (enam) penyimpangan atau sebesar 55% dan level risiko low risk sebanyak 2 (dua) penyimpangan atau sebesar 18%.Kata Kunci: Gas Cleaning System, HAZOPs, Level Risiko, Potensi Bahaya

Banjarnegara is one of the regions in Central Java which is very vulnerable to landslide disaster. This condition is motivated by the geological conditions and the metoerological conditions of Banjarnegara Regency that contributed to the high potential for landslides. One area in Banjarnegara Regency which is prone to landslides is Karangkobar Sub-District. From 2018, there have been 23 landslides in Karangkobar Sub-District, out of a total of 152 landslides that occurred in Banjarnegara. This study intended to determine the level of landslide threats in Karangkobar Sub-District and the level of community capacity in dealing with landslide threats in Karangkobar Sub-District. The method used in the study is scoring, geographic information systems, descriptive, Gutman scale, and comparative descriptive. Parameters used to determine the threat of landslides are rainfall, slope, soil type, land use, soil texture, soil drainage, and soil depth. While the parameters for the level of capacity are the rules and institutions for disaster management, early warning and disaster risk assessment, disaster education, reduction of basic risk factors, and preparedness development for all lines. Based on to the result, we know that the level of landslides in Karangkobar Sub-District consists of low landslide threat level that covers only 1% of the Karangkobar area, moderate landslide threat that covers 74% of the Karangkobar area, and High level of landslide threat that covers 25% of the entire Karangkobar area. Based on the research result shows that most of the Karangkobar Sub-District area still has a low capacity in dealing with disasters. The low capacity of the community in Karangkobar Sub-District will be a serious problem because of the large threat of landslides in the area. For this reason, disaster mitigation efforts are needed in the Karangkobar Sub-District community.

<em>Located on a hilly topography with a steep slope, highlighted the importance of settlement arrangement based on a landslide risk assessment in Girirejo village, Imogiri, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This study aims to map landslides risk, identify houses in the landslide risk zone, and provide recommendations for settlement arrangements. The research begins with observation, interviews, and focus group discussion. Disaster risk mapping and analysis were carried out through weighting method based on Perka BNPB No.2 of 2012 concerning General Guidelines for Disaster Risk Assessment and a formula with parameters of hazard, vulnerability, and capacity. Results showed the medium to a high-level of landslide risk was dominated by northern and eastern parts of Girirejo (21 families in red-zone, 23 families in yellow-zone), while western and southern regions had a low landslide risk level. This research also provided a formulation of settlements concept for medium and high-risk areas by considering landslides risk analysis study.</em>

The purpose of writing this article is to find out how the Altman Z-Score discriminant analysis method has a simple role in conducting financial risk analysis. As an object, PT. Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Syariah (BTPN Syariah), Tbk. Selected by non-random sampling with purposive sampling technique through the website. PT. BTPN Syariah, Tbk. is one of a financial institution that has a role in Indonesia's economy. As an intermediary, PT BTPN Syariah, Tbk. can not avoid risks, both in the form of financial and non-financial risks. To deal with these risks, one important element is to improve its financial performance. One of the depictions of financial performance can be known from the value obtained by using the Altman Z-Score analysis. The data used in this study are secondary in the form of financial statements, which consist of the balance sheet and income statement. The time period taken as data is the period from 2014 to 2018. After each data is obtained and studied then analyzed by using the Altman Z-Score method. So it can be seen what level of risk PT. BTPN Syariah, Tbk. has, whether the low level of risk, grey area, or high level of risk. From the data analysis, it was found that the level of financial risk of PT. BTPN Syariah, Tbk. is in the low-risk level category. In other words, it describes the company that is not bankrupt. This is indicated by the acquisition value of Z-Score > 2.6 which is 5.7438 in 2014, 6.7326 in 2015, 6.9953 in 2016, 8.2041 in 2017, and 7.2012 in 2018.

Abstract Background Falls in hospital are adverse events with serious consequences for the patient. Fall risk assessment requires easy tools that are suitable for the specific clinical context. This is important to quickly identify preventing measures. The aim of the study is to identify an appropriate scale for assessing fall risk in patients from an emergency department. Methods For the fall risk assessment in the emergency department, three scales were identified in literature: Kinder 1, MEDFRAT, and Morse. MEDFRAT and Morse classify the patient in high, moderate, and low risk; Kinder 1 split patients “at risk” (also when there is only one positive item) and “non-risk” (in which all items are negative). The study was carried out in July 2019 in an Italian emergency department. Patients who arrived in triage were assessed for the fall risk using the three scales. Results On a sample of 318 patients, the used scales show different levels of fall risk. For Kinder 1, 83.02% is at risk and 16.98% is not at risk; for MEDFRAT, 14.78% is at high risk, 15.09% moderate, and 70.13% low risk; for Morse, 8.81% is at high risk, 35.53% moderate, and 56.66% low risk. As Kinder 1 implies as “high risk” that all items of the questionnaire are positive, to compare Kinder 1 to the other scales with three measurements, we assumed only one positive response as “moderate risk”, all negative responses as “low risk”. Thus, Kinder 1 shows no cases at high risk, 83.02% moderate risk, and 16.98% low risk. All the scales show that the moderate-high risk increases with age. MEDFRAT and Morse have concordant percentages for young (13.6%), elderly (61.2%), and long-lived (66.6%) people. Kinder 1, 59%, 96.7%, and 100%, respectively. Conclusions The comparison between scales shows inhomogeneity in identifying the level of risk. MEDFRAT and Morse appear more reliable and consistent. Key messages An appropriate assessment scale is important to identify the fall risk level. Identifying accurate fall risk levels allows for implementing specific prevention actions.

The main requirement established for the development of European Union product safety directives is to ensure a high level of safety for users. This research aims to analyze whether Europe needs a product safety directive for scaffolding and identify the main factors to be defined in public policies on the use of standardized scaffolding in the absence of such a directive. The principal types of scaffolding were reviewed, along with European regulations, and their risk levels. Finally, a qualitative study using a panel of experts was conducted to determine the differences between types of scaffolding and whether the enactment of such a directive would be justified. Key results were that the risk level associated with scaffolding positioned it third or fourth between material agents more hazardous in relation to falls from height. There is no existing product safety directive for scaffolding, despite the fact that there are directives for other products less dangerous than or as dangerous as scaffolding. However, there are noncompulsory standards EN 12810-1-2 and EN 12811-1-2-3-4 for scaffolding, which would form the basis of the essential requirements contained in a directive if it were created. The experts highlighted significant differences between “standardized” and “nonstandardized” scaffolding, with higher safety levels and productivity, and better maintenance, inspection, assembly, and dismantling associated with the former, and lower costs with the latter. Thus, they found that the enacting of an EU product safety directive for scaffolding would be justifiable, and in its absence supported the promotion of the use of standardized scaffolding.

The increasing demand of humankind has caused a large number of land use changes, which pose a direct or indirect threat to the environment while promoting economic growth. The lack of risk-oriented land use changes may increase the disaster risk in the region. Therefore, how to study the relationship between land use change and disaster risk deserves attention. In this study, a research framework with quantitative relationship between land use change and disaster risk was constructed from the perspective of efficiency. The framework integrated land use change, disaster losses and environment variable (runoff increment) into a three-stage data envelopment analysis (DEA) assessment model to dynamically evaluate the impact of land use changes on disasters. The main conclusions include: (I) after the influence of runoff increment and random error was excluded, the overall risk score of counties and cities in Taiwan is 0.643, which represents a relatively high level, indicating that land use changes have caused high disaster risk; and (II) the vulnerability of land development in each county and city can be obtained through the comprehensive score of disaster risk the amount of unused input. The results of this study can help government agencies to rank various types of land development and then determine the acceptable risk level and incorporate disaster risk into land development.

Construction work for high rise buildings is a dense work activity with a high level of risk. The purpose of this research is that construction of the building takes place in the middle of lecture activities where many students, lecturers, and staff carry out activities in the campus environment, considering that construction projects are generally vulnerable to work accidents. This study investigated the identification, K3 risk assessment, and how to control OHS risks in Kadiri University LP3M building projects. The assessment method uses a matrix sourced from AS / NZS 4360: 2004. The study population numbered 58 workers ranging from workers, artisans, project guards, forepersons, executors, and office staff. The sample in this study amounted to 38 respondents. Data collected from questionnaires to respondents. The results of the study showed that immovable/ tripped objects with a risk index of 20 included a very high-risk classification, high-risk classification of 4 variables, classification at medium risk level as many as ten variables can endanger workers and jobs while classification at a low-risk level as much as two variables.

Introduction: Health sector such as hospitals had to pay attention to the company's hygiene aspects and all over occupational health. Nurses were one of the health worker that interact directly with patients and their families. Nurses were very risky to experience work stresses because they had complex tasks and very high responsibilities for the safety of human lives. The purpose of this study was determining factors of work stress in nurses at Rahman Rahim Sidoarjo Hospital. Methods: This research was a cross sectional research design. This study used the entire population of nurses at Rahman Rahim Sidoarjo Hospital, which consists of 60 people. The object of research was Rahman Rahim Sidoarjo Hospital. Research variables included the level of risk of work stress, sex, age, personality, working period social support and subjective workload. Results: The research study shows that most of the nurses at Rahman Rahim Sidoarjo Hospital have moderate stress risk levels of 44 out of 60 nurses (73.3%). A small number of nurses had a low level of stress risk of 11 nurses (18.3%), a high level of stress risk as many as 5 nurses (8.4%), and no nurses who had a high level of risk of work stress were found. Conclusion: Determinant factors of work stress risk that play an important role are factors of sex, personality and working period.Keywords: determinant factor, nurses, work stress
