Abstract: Implementation method technology of multi-storey building concrete construction is experiencing significant growth, both in material processing and casting equipment.  Several casting equipment including concrete lift  and concrete pump have  different productivities  which contribute to time and cost.  This research aims to analyze the productivity of casting equipment, time and cost required, as well as the break-even point of casting method of ready mix concrete application on the beams and the floor slabs of buildings, particularly on the second- floor, third- floor and forth-floor using concrete lift and concrete pump. Data was obtained by conducting interviews and observations concerning casting implementation of building construction projects that use K-300 ready- mix concrete.  Regression and Correlation analysis are used to obtain time and cost comparison between both method of casting implementation, as well as Break Even Point analysis to obtain breakeven point of casting volume with regards to cost and time. The analysis showed that casting productivities  using lift on  first, second and third floor  are 7,166 m3/h, 5,945 m3/h, 5,125 m3/h, while the productivities using concrete pump on  first, second and third floor  are 36 m3/h, 30 m3/h , 24 m3/hour. Cost comparison of 1 m3 increment of casting using concrete lift and concrete pump is  Rp. 99 330: Rp.19.000 (5.23: 1),  while time ratio is  8.272 minutes: 2,172 minutes (3.8: 1). Breakeven point analysis towards casting cost showed that the second floor which has volume greater than 95.89 m3,  using concrete pump method is more optimal than concrete-lift.

Lithuanian economy transformation into a market economy extremely increased the risk of enterprises. Transition from a producer market to a consumer market caused the technological innovations in construction business. It needs long-term investments. So the management of such investments risk is a problem of today. The paper deals with indentifying conceptual problems of risk and uncertainty definition as well as indicators for the quantitative risk management. Some aspects of the application of the risk management ideology which is thought as risk analysis and risk reduction are discussed. Risk analysis includes methods such as sensitivity analysis, breakeven point analysis, mathematical programming methods, scenario analysis, Monte-Carlo technique etc. There are many types of risk in business. Risks can be classified as external unforeseeable risks, external foreseeable (but not determined) risks, operating risks, technical risks, legal risks etc. The first step in risk management is the risk analysis, then follows the application of risk reduction methods.

This study covered 150 cooperative member milk producers and 150 non-member milk producers which were post- stratified into Landless, Marginal, small, medium and large herd size categories. Breakeven point is a point where no profit no loss status achieved where MR = MC. In this study breakeven point analysis was done to estimate the minimum quantity milk to be produced to cover the total cost on all categories (members and nonmembers) of households of milch animals (Cow and buffalo). And also in this study the researchers have find out the Total cost of milk production per liter for member and non member categories. This study is helpful to find out the total cost of milk production in all categories as well as members and nonmembers of dairy cooperative society are able to find out the breakeven point of the whole business.

Prefabricated buildings are the direction of the future development of the construction industry and have received widespread attention. The effective execution of prefabricated construction project scheduling should consider resource constraints and the supply arrangement of prefabricated components. However, the traditional construction resource-constrained project scheduling implementation method cannot simultaneously consider the characteristics of the linkage between component production and on-site assembly construction. It cannot also fully adapt to the scheduling implementation method of the prefabricated construction projects. It is difficult to work out a reasonable project schedule and resource allocation table. In order to determine the relevant schedule parameters that can reflect the actual construction situation of the prefabricated building and meet the scheduling requirements of the prefabricated project, this study proposes a prefabricated construction project scheduling model that considers project resource constraints and prefabricated component supply constraints. Additionally, it improves the design of traditional genetic algorithms (GAs). Research results of the experimental calculation and engineering application show that the proposed project scheduling optimization model and GA are effective and practical, which can help project managers in effectively formulating prefabricated construction project scheduling plans, reasonably allocating resources, reducing completion time, and improving project performance.

This research would like to analysis optimizing employee class management both in capacity and cost efficiency. Capacity optimization is to determine the minimum number of students that can cover all of their class costs. The research method uses break even point analysis. The results of the study showed that the optimal number of class capacity was 21 (twenty one) students. Taking into account efficiency and fairness for all, excess teaching fees per SKS for employee classes vary from Rp. 12,500 to Rp. 50,000 with the presence of Rp. 50,000.

The implementation of the construction project caused miscommunication, this made the contract became a reference during implementation. In the implementation of construction projects, there are often changes that not according to contract, for example: work volume changes, specifications changes, type or method of work changes, schedules changes , design changes, and others. These changes are commonly known as change orders. There are several things that cause a change order, for example: incompletable contract, design does not fit in the field, unsupportive weather, and others. This research is to determine the effect of change order in the aspects of cost, quality, and time in multi-storey building construction projects. Researchers used data from the responses of respondents consisting of contractors, consultants, and owners. The questionnaire made proposes several aspects of change orders and their effects on cost, quality, and time. Analysis of research data was carried out with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 application program. The influence of change orders on costs is the lack of costs due to the addition of work items, while on quality is the quality decrease due to additional work volume, and on time is the delay in project completion due to changes in completed work.ABSTRAKPelaksanaan proyek konstruksi menyebabkan terjadi perbedaan pendapat yang disebabkan oleh pihak yang terlibat, hal ini membuat kontrak menjadi sangat penting dan menjadi acuan selama pelaksanaan.

Root cause analysis techniques are an excellent choice for identifying the root causes of cost deviation in Iraqi construction projects. Many root cause analysis tools, such as the Fishbone diagram (FD), Pareto diagram (PD), and 5-Why analysis, have started to emerge from the literature as standard guidelines for identifying root causes. This study identified eighteen causes of cost deviation in construction projects, which they classified into three major groups (planning causes, designing causes, and execution causes). Pareto study indicates that twelve causes out of eighteen represent the most significant causes of cost deviation. After that, these eleven causes were filtered by 5-Why analysis, which concluded that insufficient project information and the implementation method is not appropriate with the project type are root causes for the planning group, while unclear owner requirements and changes in design are root causes for the designing causes group, Finally, changes in orders is a root cause for execution group.
