Bridge construction has received a lot of attention as transportation continues to improve. Reinforced concrete linked arch bridges are a common bridge style in today’s bridge construction. This type of bridge not only has a basic and generous shape, but it is also incredibly easy to construct, resulting in significant material and construction cost savings. This article analyzes the construction technology of a reinforced concrete linked arch bridge in order to achieve good construction and application. It is hoped that this analysis can provide a scientific reference for the guarantee of the construction quality and subsequent application effect of this kind of bridge.

Concerning the design and the construction of the Nantang River bridge in Wenzhou, this paper mainly mention the problems about the the below model without wind bracing tied-arch bridge which should be taken notice of. The certain method of the tension in suspenders has been analyzed, and the advice of the design and construction of such kind of bridge has been proposed as well.

To study the mechanical performance and stability of tied-arch bridge under structural defects and damages, limited element modal of Panzhihua Luoguo Jinshajiang Bridge was established and analyzed. Firstly, some typical damage models and their influence factors were presented. Then, based on the model established, change of suspender force caused by arch rib lineation defect, hanger lineation defect and boom failure was calculated respectively. The stability safety factor under the load group composed of dead load, live load and wind was calculated as well as the second-class nonlinear stability safety factor under structural initial defect. Calculation results shows that, suspender forces were more sensitive to archs vertical defect than to transverse defect. While, short hangers were more sensitive to lineation defect than long ones, and secondary inner force in short booms were bigger than in long ones. The result also tells that lateral wind is bad to lateral stability. Lift wind, somehow, makes positive contribution to structures in-plane stability. Structural initial defect can draw down the second-class stability safety factor under geometric nonlinear condition.

<p>The Frances Appleton Pedestrian Bridge is an innovative steel arch bridge with a 69m main span and curvilinear approaches along the Charles River in Boston, Massachusetts. It is the first Americans with Disabilities Act fully accessible 4.3m wide bridge connecting Boston’s historic Beacon Hill neighborhood to the Esplanade Park and Charles River. An overall architectural and structural theme was followed in the design of all bridge components including the main arch, Y shaped approach piers, circular stairs and curved ramps. The bridge is light, elegant and well-integrated into the landscape complementing an adjacent historic landmark bridge and seamlessly blending into the waterfront context.</p>

Large-span V structure tied arch bridge structure system is complex. In order to make the actual state of the bridge into the ideal state of maximum close to the design, we must make real-time monitoring in the key parts of the structure, and adjust to the design of the data by analysis calculated, to ensure the safety and reliability of arch bridge in the course of construction and into stress after the completed bridge. Combined with the construction monitoring of the main Xinglong Bridge on Si River, this paper introduces the main bridge construction process measurement a preliminary study on the large span V configuration basket tied arch bridge construction monitoring technology. Based on the construction monitoring of Xinglong Bridge on Si River, this paper introduces the main contents and methods of monitoring point location, monitoring control of construction process, and discussed the construction monitoring technology of long-span X-style tied arch bridge V structure.

The purpose of this study was to collect the perceptions of design professionals and clinicians regarding design process success strategies and elements of interprofessional engagement and communication during healthcare design and construction projects. Additional objectives were to gather best practices to maximize clinician engagement and provide tools and techniques to improve interdisciplinary collaboration for future projects. Strategies are needed to enhance the design and construction process and create interactions that benefit not only the project but the individuals working to see its completion. Meaningful interprofessional collaboration is essential to any healthcare design project and making sure the various players communicate is a critical element. This was a qualitative study conducted via an online survey. Respondents included architects, construction managers, interior designers, and healthcare personnel who had recently been involved in a building renovation or new construction project for a healthcare facility. Responses to open-ended questions were analyzed for themes, and descriptive statistics were used to provide insight into participant demographics. Information on the impressions, perceptions, and opportunities related to clinician involvement in design projects was collected from nurses, architects, interior designers, and construction managers. Qualitative analysis revealed themes of clinician input, organizational dynamics, and a variety of communication strategies to be the most frequently mentioned elements of successful interprofessional collaboration. This study validates the need to include clinician input in the design process, to consider the importance of organizational dynamics on design team functioning, and to incorporate effective communication strategies during design and construction projects.
