The development of a modern economy, in the context of the fourth industrial revolution, is impossible without the accumulation and development of human capital, since the foundation of the transformation of the economic system in an innovative economy is human capital. In this regard, the level of development and the efficiency of using human capital are of paramount importance. This article attempts to assess the role of human capital in the fourth industrial revolution. In the future, human talent will play a much more important role in the production process than capital. However, it will also lead to a greater division of the labor market with a growing gap between low-paid and high-paid jobs, and will contribute to an increase in social tensions. Already today, there is an increase in demand for highly skilled workers, especially in high-income countries, with a decrease in demand for workers with lower skills and lower levels of education. Analysis of labor market trends suggests that the future labor market is a market where there is simultaneously a certain demand for both higher and lower skills and abilities, combined with the devastation of the middle tier. The fourth industrial revolution relies heavily on the concept of human capital and the importance of finding complementarity between human and technology. In assessing the impact of the fourth industrial revolution, the relationship between technology, economic growth and human resources was examined. The analysis was carried out in terms of three concepts of economic growth, technological change and human capital. Human capital contributes to the advancement of new technologies, which makes the concept of human capital an essential factor in technological change. The authors emphasize that the modern economy makes new demands on workers; therefore it is necessary to constantly accumulate human capital, develop it through continuous learning, which will allow the domestic economy to enter the trajectory of sustainable economic growth. The need to create conditions for a comprehensive increase in the level of human capital development is noted.

Pesantren as one of the religious education institutions that are the womb of the prospective Muslim scholars, they also have a mandate to carry out educational missions based on Article 1 (1) of Law No. 20 of 2003 namely developing the potential of students to have religious spiritual power, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character and skills needed by him, society, nation, and state. Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (here in after: Era 4.0) has an unimportant impact. It affects all aspects of human life. Included in this case is education. This era is characterized by the increasingly central role of cyber technology in human life. So do not be surprised if in the world of education the term "Education 4.0" appears. Availability of various information is born from the 4.0 digital revolution makes everyone able to access knowledge without being limited by space and time, therefore the pesantren curriculum continues to be encouraged to be contextual to the needs of the times, but on the other hand the pesantren is still able to maintain its identity as guardian of tradition. Efforts that can be developed in Islamic boarding schools in the era of 4.0 include building digital literacy in Islamic boarding schools and creating Islamic study channels.

The socio-economic events of the latest years and uncertainties in the vectors of development of the economic environment cause the need for robust statistical assessment. An important area of studies of the modern economy is determining the type of economic growth. The shift-share method is applied to determine the effect of the impact of national, industrial and regional factors on the dynamics of economic growth. The shares of effects (effects of the impact) caused by national economy trends, industry mix and region-specific factors are identified and analyzed. The position of economic activities in the industry mix of the Kyiv economy is analyzed and assessed by indicators of gross value added and number of employees with consideration to three components. The impact of each of them caused by the national factors, the established industry mix of the national economy and the internal competitiveness of a specific industry of the region are characterized. Factor decomposition of the change in the indicators caused by the national component, industry-specific and region-specific effects reveals that the overall growth in the gross value added by economic activity in Kyiv is to a large extent conditional on the effective industry policy and to the least extent on regional factors. However, the employment reduction in the Ukrainian capital was caused by the impact of national and industry factors, and was not compensated by the positive local effect. It is revealed that the stable flagship position is taken by financial and insurance activities, in spite of recent reforms in the bank sector with cleansing the bank system from ineffective and nontransparent entities. Kyiv remains to be the core center for concentration of financial services. The progressive growth in the construction market meets the needs of the megalopolis with its increasing population. The residents’ desire to expand the dwelling size and improve the living conditions helps improve business climate in the construction sector, increase its growth rates and share in the gross regional product (indirectly, through the gross value added).       The section “Information and telecommunications” stands steadily on the top positions. Its rapid development, as a signal of the digital economy, enables for momentary exchanges of information and services on the domestic and external market, thus creating favorable prospects.   The analysis of the composition of the problem group and the outsider group among the economic activities reveals the stable presence of manufacturing and social industries. Enterprises of the sections “Manufacturing”, “Supply of electricity, gas, steam and conditioned air”, “Supply of water, sanitation, treatment of wastes” have a stock of problems and system drawbacks; they suffer from lack of investment and innovation, they have no strong orientation on the challenges of modernity and market needs, which weakens the positions of the Ukrainian capitals’ economy as the industrial center. It is proposed to use the graphic method for illustrating the distribution of economic activities in Kyiv by quality characteristics of operation. The factors accelerating or hampering the development of economic activities in the region are determined. Recommendations on management decisions related with future operation of industries referred to as “leaders”, “regulars”, problematic industries and outsiders are given.

In the article the specifics of the world experience in the management of e-commerce enterprises as subjects of innovative entrepreneurship are analyzed. The experience of this topic in the leading countries of the world is studied. The list of features of this question is defined. Practical meaning. It is argued that the significant reorientation of world trade to online sales channels due to the impact of quarantine restrictions associated with the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 could significantly affect the real level of sales in 2020, adjusting it upwards. It is noted that the industrial revolution turned agrarian societies into production centers and changed people's work and the standard of living they could expect. The digital revolution has also changed the way people communicate, shop and work. Referring to the experience of e-commerce companies, which are directly affected by the digital transformation on the nature and intensity of their activities in both strategic and operational dimensions, it should be noted that digital business strategies continue to review traditional retail through multichannel capabilities. Prospects for further research. Statistics show that mobile commerce, especially the use of mobile applications, is becoming increasingly important in the development of online sales strategies. Yes, Amazon is the leading mobile application for online stores in the United States. At the same time, Amazon singles out a list of development risks that are quite obvious to all retailers operating in the e-commerce environment, primarily related to the implementation of international transactions, which the author cites in the article. The author gives an example of successful European experience in managing an e-commerce company, namely the company “C&A” – a Belgian-German-Dutch network of retail clothing stores. Also interesting is the Chinese e-commerce platform Aliexpress, the international online platform Alibaba (aliexpress.com), which was launched in 2010, and Taobao, the online platform Alibaba C2C (taobao.com), which was founded in May 2003. It is noted that almost 80% of small and medium enterprises consider sales on social networks as a proven strategy to increase revenue.

In the context оf technological progress and innovations of the fourth industrial revolution, the issues of forming the digital economy in Russia are becoming im-portant being also determined by the need to improve the country's geoeconomic competitiveness in world markets. Therefore, the article attempts to rethink the basic principles of geoeconomics in the context of increased global competition and the striving of developed countries for innovative re-positioning based on the development of digital potential. The author considers the existing approaches to assessing the impact of the digital revolution on global processes and highlights the geoeconomic features of the modern stage of globalization as globalization 4.0. This period of globalization is associated with digitalization and the digital transformation of the economy and society and has national, regional, sectoral and professional characteristics. Analysis of the geoeconomic challenges of Russian digitalization at the national and macro-regional levels of the post-Soviet space shows that the country has retained the status of a geoeconomic pole of power. The threats and risks of Russia's digital lag are based on the data from the World Bank's "Competition in the Digital Age: Strategic Challenges for Russia" and the Eurasian Development Bank report “Digital Potential of EABR Member Countries”. This allowed us to conclude that in order to strengthen the position of the geoeconomic leader in the macroregion and increase geoeconomic competitiveness in the global arena of the Russian Federation, it is necessary to overcome the contradiction between the pace of digitalization as a process of introducing digital innovations and the level and depth of digital transformation due to a change in the way of thinking and activity of all subjects of the digital society. This contradiction is a key problem for the country and can be overcome through implementing the programs of developing informational competence of the Russian population of all ages, taking into account the industry and professional specifics in the country's regions.
