A textbook is a prominent source to attract student’s attention. Arabic Books by Scientific Approach in Curriculum 2013 is a textbook used in learning Arabic at MIT Daarut Tahfidz al-Ikhlas. However, the researcher found problems experienced by students in learning grammar, they are difficulties in understanding content material, so that make the students in boredom and less enthusiastic in learning. So this research purpose to develop the textbook using the Mind Mapping used in learning Arabic at MIT Daarut Tahfidz al-Ikhlas. This research aims to know the process of developing the textbook “Arabic Books by Scientific Approach in Curriculum 2013” and to know the effectiveness of using a book which has been developed. The researcher using the methodology of scientific research and development (Research & Development / R & D). The data collection consists of direct observation, interview, and test in 24 samples in the fourth-grade students. In the results of the research, the developed textbook with mind mapping was effective in improving the ability of students in learning grammar, the calculated of t-count on the result, as analyzed by the researcher t-test related. The theoretical value (t-table) on the degree of freedom 8 df = and at the level of significance of 5% (0.05 = α) is 1.86.Keywords: Development, Textbook, Mind Mapping

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan model Pembelajaran Mind Mapping berbantuan Media Display terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD N Gugus KH.Samanhudi Kendal.Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IV SD N Sendangdawuhan 02 sebanyak 26 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen, kelas IV SD N Bulak 02 sebanyak 28 siswa.Data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test menujukan jika nilai (2-tailed) < 0,05 ,karena hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kolom (2- tailed) yaitu sebesar 0,000 yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0.05. Simpulannya bahwa model pembelajaran Mind Mapping  berbantuan media display efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS . Saran guru dan siswa diharapkan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping berbantuan media display dalam pembelajaran di kelas dan untuk model mencatat sehari-hari agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sehingga mutu sekolah dapat meningkat. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the Mind Mapping Learning Model assisted by Display Media in the fourth grade students' learning outcomes at KH. Samanhudi Cluster Elementary School, Kendal Regency. This study used a quantitative method and quasi-experimental type of research. The samples in this study were the fourth grade students at Sendangdawuhan 02 Elementary School in the number of 26 students as the experimental class, the fourth grade students at Bulak 02 Elementary School in the number of 28 students. The learning outcomes were analyzed using t-test to test the average difference of the control class and the experimental class. The result of calculations using the Independent Sample T-Test addressed if the value (2-tailed) <0.05, because the results of the study showed that the column (2- tailed) was equal to 0,000 which means it was smaller than 0.05. The conclusion was the Mind Mapping learning model assisted by display media was effectively used in social studies learning. It was suggested for the teachers and the students to apply Mind Mapping learning model assisted by display media in the classroom and for note-writing in order to improve students' learning outcomes so that the school quality could also improve.

The aim of the study was to determine the concepts that primary school fourth-grade students reveal with their mind maps related to four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and to compare the mind map and achievement test scores. In the study, a mixed method was used in which quantitative and qualitative data were collected and presented together. The study was carried out with a total of 14 students. There were eight girls and six boys, who studying in the fourth-grade of a primary school in Menteşe district of Muğla, in the spring semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. In the research, mind maps created for four operations and success test were used as data collection tools. The data collection process was carried out simultaneously. In the analysis of the data, qualitative data were transformed into the quantitative analysis, and quantitative analyzes were made. Concepts in mind maps created for four operations were subjected to qualitative analysis and photos were added as evidence. As a result of the research, it was determined that the majority of the students adopted the concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Besides, it was revealed that there was a high-level positive relationship between the scores of the students obtained from the achievement test and the scores from the mind maps they created. The evaluation made using the mind map for primary school fourth-grade students is more advantageous than the achievement test in terms of determining the conceptual understanding.

The purpose of this study is to find out the application of Mind Mapping learning model assisted by the rotary wheel media to improve the creative thinking of fourth grade students of elementary schools. The research was conducted in the classroom action research with research subjects of fourth grade students with total of 15 students. This classroom action research would take place in two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2 in the theme 6 of My Ideals. The dependent variable in this study is students’ creative thinking, while the independent variables are the Mind Mapping learning model with the rotary wheel media.  The data collection techniques of this study were test and non-test. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative data analiysis. The result of this study showed the improvement in students’ creative thinking skill. This is evidenced by the average percentage at the pre-cycle stage, a percentage of 40% was obtained with uncreative criteria, then increase in the first cycle increased to 73.33% with quite creative criteria and in the second cycle increased to 86.67% with creative criteria. Based on the result, it concluded that the application of Mind Mapping learning models can improve fourth grade students’ creative thinking.

The Development of PENA (Puzzle Nusantara) Learning Media on Cultural Diversity Material is one of the instruments to help students understand the diversity material to increase learning outcomes in Indonesian cultural diversity material. The necessity to provide attractive and creative learning media in learning that aims to increase student learning outcomes is one of the reasons behind this research and development. The purpose of this research and development are to (1) determine the process in the making of PENA (Puzzle Nusantara) learning media on cultural diversity material to increase learning outcomes of fourth grade student MIS Al-Falah Lemahabang, (2) knowing the attractiveness level of PENA learning media (Puzzle Nusantara) on cultural diversity material in improving the learning outcomes of fourth grade student MIS Al-Falah Lemahabang, (3) knowing is there any differences in learning outcomes of fourth grade student before using PENA (Puzzle Nusantara) learning media and after using PENA (Puzzle Nusantara) learning media. This research and development method uses research and development (R&D) research type. This research development procedure uses the Borg and Gall model by adopting six stages including (1) research and data collection, (2) planning, (3) product development, (4) preliminary product testing, (5) after product testing revisions, (6) field trials. This research was conducted at MIS Al-Falah Lemahabang, Bone-Bone, North-Luwu, South Sulawesi. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and observations. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The result of this conducted development is in the form of printed learning media called PENA (Puzzle Nusantara) with Indonesia cultural diversity material. (1) the results of this research and development meet the valid criteria with the acquisition of validity, material expert gets 97.5%, design expert gets 95.45%, and learning expert gets 95%. (2) the test results to rate the attractiveness of the PENA (Puzzle Nusantara) learning media (Puzzle Nusantara) in fourth grade students at MIS Al-Falah Lemahabang by 95.5%. (3) student learning outcomes increased, proved by the pre-test results of 46.5, and the post-test scores of 81, it can be said that the PENA (Puzzle Nusantara) learning media is feasible for students.

The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument to measure the knowledge and skills of fourth grade students in conducting scientific activities on the sub-theme of animals and plants around my house. The instrument consists of a number of items that lead the students to scientific activities (e.g.observe, ask, gather information, process and communicate information) that is equipped by a scoring rubric. The development model used is a model 4-D consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and desimanate. The validation and limited testing result shows that the scientific approach based-assessment instrument is feasible to use. The developed instruments can be used to evaluate the learning process and assists teachers in developing the competences of the students’s knowledge and skills in conducting scientific activities.

There is a growing need to better capture comprehensive, nuanced, and multi-faceted qualitative data while also better engaging with participants in data collection, especially in virtual environments. This study describes the development of a novel 3-step approach to virtual mind-mapping that involves (1) ranked free-listing, (2) respondent-driven mind-mapping, and (3) interviewing to enhance both data collection and analysis of complex health behaviors. The method was employed in 32 virtual interviews as part of a study on eating behaviors among second-generation South Asian Americans. Participants noted the mind-mapping experience to be (1) helpful for visual learners, (2) helpful in elucidating new ideas and to structure thoughts, as well as (3) novel and interesting. They also noted some suggestions that included improving interpretability of visual data and avoiding repetition of certain discussion points. Data collection revealed the adaptability of the method, and the power of mind-maps to guide targeted, comprehensive discussions with participants.

This study aims to develop big book media for learning Indonesian in grade 3 elementary school and to determine the feasibility of big book learning media. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods using the FOUR-D (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminte) model. The data collection technique used is by using questionnaires and trials. The feasibility of big book learning media is obtained from the results of media validation and testing. Validation was carried out by material experts and learning media experts. The results of the research show that the validation of the material experts and the validation of the learning media experts are very valid. The trials used in this study were limited to 10 students and received a very good response. The results of this development research indicate that the big book media for learning Indonesian in grade 3 Elementary School is very suitable for use in learning in Elementary School.

This research is a research and development that aims to produce a valid and effective MEB (Monopoly Education Book) media in fostering a nationalist sense of the Indonesian nation in learning mathematics. The research subjects were fourth grade students of SDN Wonokromo 1 Surabaya. The development of this media in its stages is limited to the mass production stage. Where the validity has been validated against three validators. The results of the research from the three validation results that have been given can be average and it is concluded that the MEB (Monopoly Education Book) media that has been developed gets a score of 86% where the score is included in the "Very Good" criteria. And the MEB (Monopoly Education Book) media is effective as evidenced by the completeness of the classical learning outcomes of students reaching 76%. Thus the learning media MEB (Monopoly Education Book) can be said to be valid and effective.

This study aimed to find out the effect of the blended learning strategy on the achievement of the fourth-grade students in the basic science subject in the Basira Basira Directorate of Education in Tafila Governorate. The study members were selected by intentional method, and they numbered (52) students from fourth grade students in Al-Harith Basic School for Boys, and the two divisions were randomly assigned and distributed into two divisions. One of them is a control group, which was (27) students who were taught the traditional strategy, and the other is (25) students as an experimental one who learned the blended learning strategy. Its validity and reliability were verified and then applied to the study sample. The results of the study showed a statistically significant difference in the achievement of the study sample at the level of significance )α≤0.05) between the averages of the scores of the two study groups in favor of the experimental group that learned with the blended learning strategy. Achieving science among fourth-grade students in Tafila Governorate by securing the necessary infrastructure to facilitate the application of blended learning by equipping laboratories and ensuring the validity of the Internet.

This research aims to know: (1) the effect of Mind Mapping learning model to the concept understanding students (2) the effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning model to concept understanding students (3) which is better between of Mind Mapping Learning Model and Contextual Teaching and LearningModel to concept understanding students.This research a quasi-experimental research with population covering all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pulung that is consisted of five classes. From five classes, classes VIIC and VIIE were randomly choosen as the sample. Then two classes were taken randomly to determine the type of treatment to be given. Class VIIC was taught by using the Mind Mapping Learning Model and class VIIE was taught by Contextual Teaching and Learning Model. The data collection techniques were a test while the instrument used to collect understanding concept test.The data collection techniques to know is there any understanding concept students is given of treatment Mind Mapping Learning Model betterthan understanding concept students is given of treatment Contextual Teaching and Learning Model  by t-test.The result show that at the significance level of 0.05, concept understanding students more taught by using the Mind Mapping Learning Model was better  than Contextual Teaching and Learning Model.
