Целью данной статьи является анализ изучения понятия «совесть» в оккультной концепции «Четвёртого пути». В качестве исследовательской задачи автор совершил попытку оценить ложные взгляды данной доктрины, а также охарактеризовать их с нейтральной стороны и дать им критическую оценку с точки зрения православного богословия. Кроме того, выделяются и описываются особенности оккультного учения, в которых лжеучителя пытаются перекинуть личную ответственность за свои грехи на абсолютно внешние факторы, не имеющие никакого отношения к жизни и поведению человека. Разоблачены действия оккультистов, которые благодаря подменам понятий пытаются абстрагировать христианскую мысль и, оперируя своим ложным учением, пытаются внести в православную терминологию ложные понятия. В работе наглядно показано, что учение данной доктрины приводит не к совести, а к экстазу. Автор приходит к выводу, что учение «Четвёртого пути» о «совести» не имеет никакого отношения к христианской совести, и вместо того, чтобы созидать личность, наоборот, личность у них разрушается и полностью пропадает. Данная проблема мало изучена и требует дальнейших исследований. The goal of this article is to explore into the idea of “conscience” in the occult concept of the Fourth Way movement. As a research task, the author attempted to check the misleading creed of movement as well as to characterize them from the neutral side and give them a critical assessment from the point of view of the Orthodox theology. In addition, the author are highlights the means, by which the movement leaders seek to transfer personal responsibility for one’s sins to external factors that are not related to human life and behavior. The author explains the movement’s activities, which involve substitution of concepts as they seek to abstract Christian thought and to introduce false ideas into the Orthodox Christian terminology. The author argues that teaching of this doctrine leads not to conscience but to an ecstasy. The author concludes that the teachings of the Fourth Way on “conscience” have nothing to do with the Christian conscience as it they harm and deconstruct personhood instead of affirming it. According to the author, the issue has not been studied enough so far and requires further research.

This research aims to describe: (1) intrinsic elements; (2) local wisdom contained in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy; (3) the plan to implement the learning of Bening Edged Bening novel by Habiburrahman El Shirazy in class XII of SMA. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The results of this study concluded that (1) the intrinsic elements of the Bidadari Bering Bening novel, namely (a) themes: the major themes of the story of a woman's struggle in sustaining life, minor themes include, matchmaking, self-esteem, romance; (b) figures and characterizations: the main characters, namely Ayna and Gus Afif. Ayna is intelligent, assertive, patient and loyal, Gus Afif is intelligent, shy, responsible, humble, and independent; (c) flow: forward, (d) setting: setting, including Kanzul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Lombok and Bait Ibni Sabil; time settings include morning, afternoon, evening and night; socio-cultural background including Javanese socio-cultural background); (e) point of view: the point of view of the all-knowing third person; (f) mandate: never put down others, never give up, and always be patient in the face of life's trials; (2) Local wisdoms in the Bidadari Bering Bening novel include (a) languages: Javanese, (b) knowledge systems: natural surroundings, natural flora, natural flora, and the characteristics and behavior of humans, (c) social organizations: systems kinship, (d) equipment of human life: food and shelter and housing, (e) livelihood system: merchants, (f) religious system: religious rituals and teachers / religious leaders, (g) arts: shadow puppets; (3) The plan for implementing novel text learning in class XII SMA based on the 2013 curriculum is contained in the basic competence 3.9 analyzing the contents of the novel and the language of the novel. The method used is a scientific-based Inquiry Learning method. Keywords: Clear-eyed Angels, intrinsic elements, local wisdom.

After early writings interpreting the social dimensions of US religious life from a Protestant point of view, Helmut Richard Niebuhr came increasingly to focus on theology, the interpretation of the Word and experience of God, and ethics, the attempt to live a responsible life grounded in the deepest values. More successfully than any contemporary, he brought into creative tension two major strands of modern Christian thought. From the liberal tradition, he came to stress the relativity of all statements about God and accented the situation of the believer who makes them. Niebuhr matched or countered this perspectival approach with an inheritance from ‘neo-orthodoxy’ which stressed the otherness of God, the distance between God and all human experiences, statements and perspectives. While preoccupied with witness to ‘God beyond the gods’, Niebuhr was also devoted to understanding the human in the light of the experience of God. He developed comprehensive views of the responsible self as the focus of ethics and emphasized the communal dimensions of human life.

The Timaeus presents Plato’s theory of the cosmos. It exercised a strong influence on other ancient philosophers, including Aristotle, Galen, and the Stoics, not to mention later Platonists such as Plutarch, Proclus, and Plotinus. Its doctrine of a creator god inspired Early Christian thought, while in the Middle Ages it was one of the few Platonic works being read in the West. In modern times, after a period of relative neglect, it is now enjoying a resurgence of scholarly interest. The cosmology of the Timaeus explains the perceptible world as the creation of a benevolent god, the demiurge or “craftsman.” To make it as good as possible, the god fashioned the cosmos as an image of an eternal paradigm, specifically that of a complete living being. As a living being itself, the world has a rational soul and a body. Its immaterial soul rotates according to mathematical ratios, thereby causing the regular revolutions of the planets and the stars. Its body is composed of basic bodies—earth, air, water, and fire, each of which is built up geometrically from triangles in different configurations. Timaeus, the main speaker, introduces a “receptacle,” also dubbed “space” (chôra), to explain how the basic bodies come about and move. He explains the various sensible qualities through the motions of the basic bodies. Human beings are endowed with a rational soul, which when embodied acquires irrational parts. The demiurge’s assistants have, however, constructed these parts and the human body to help us survive and to develop our rationality. From this point of view, Timaeus describes the body’s various structures in detail. The aim of human life is to maximize our rationality through imitation of the world’s soul. Attitudes and behaviors are the unity of a person's character which is formed by habit everyday. Entrepreneurial behavior is influenced by internal and external factors. These factors are ownership rights (property right, PR), abilities / competencies (competency / ability,), and incentives while external factors include the environment thus Attitudes and behavior can be changed by oneself and / or there are environmental pressures / influences. there is an influence from within themselves and from outside the environment to associate then grow indi attitudes and specific behaviors. It is necessary to anticipate small businesses’ difficulties by conducting an empirical study  on  the  entrepreneurial  spirit,  entrepreneurial  values,  and  assessment  of entrepreneurial behavior that may affect the realization of independence efforts. This study  aims to  analyze the  influence of  entrepreneurial spirit  and entrepreneurial values on entrepreneurial behavior to create business independence. The findings show that the entrepreneurial spirit has a direct positive influence on entrepreneurial behavior and positive indirect effect on the business independence.

AbstractAlthough visual culture of the 21th century increasingly focuses on representation of death and dying, contemporary discourses still lack a language of death adequate to the event shown by pictures and visual images from an outside point of view. Following this observation, this article suggests a re-reading of 20th century author Elias Canetti. His lifelong notes have been edited and published posthumously for the first time in 2014. Thanks to this edition Canetti's short texts and aphorisms can be focused as a textual laboratory in which he tries to model a language of death on experimental practices of natural sciences. The miniature series of experiments address the problem of death, not representable in discourses of cultural studies, system theory or history of knowledge, and in doing so, Canetti creates liminal texts at the margins of western concepts of (human) life, science and established textual form.

We propose a low-asymmetry interface to improve the presence of non-head-mounted-display (non-HMD) users in shared virtual reality (VR) experiences with HMD users. The low-asymmetry interface ensures that the HMD and non-HMD users’ perception of the VR environment is almost similar. That is, the point-of-view asymmetry and behavior asymmetry between HMD and non-HMD users are reduced. Our system comprises a portable mobile device as a visual display to provide a changing PoV for the non-HMD user and a walking simulator as an in-place walking detection sensor to enable the same level of realistic and unrestricted physical-walking-based locomotion for all users. Because this allows non-HMD users to experience the same level of visualization and free movement as HMD users, both of them can engage as the main actors in movement scenarios. Our user study revealed that the low-asymmetry interface enables non-HMD users to feel a presence similar to that of the HMD users when performing equivalent locomotion tasks in a virtual environment. Furthermore, our system can enable one HMD user and multiple non-HMD users to participate together in a virtual world; moreover, our experiments show that the non-HMD user satisfaction increases with the number of non-HMD participants owing to increased presence and enjoyment.

The author sets out to respond to the student complaint that ‘Philosophy did not answer “the big questions”’, in particular the question ‘What is the meaning of life?’ The response first outlines and evaluates the most common religious answer, that human life is given a meaning by God who created us and informs us that this life is just the pilgrim way to the next eternal life in heaven. He then discusses the response that, from the point of view of post-Darwinian science and the evolution of the universe and all that is in it, human life on Earth must be afforded no more meaning than the meaning we would give to a microscopic planaria or to some creature on another planet in a distant universe. All things including human creatures on Planet Earth just exist for a time and that is that. There is no plan or purpose. In the last sections the author outlines the view that it is we humans ourselves who give meaning to our lives by our choices of values or things that are worth pursuing and through our resulting sense of achievement or the opposite. Nevertheless the question ‘What is the meaning of life?’ can mean quite different things in different contexts, and so merit different if related answers. From one point of view one answer may lie in terms of the love of one human for another.

По данным ВОЗ, за последнее столетие продолжительность жизни человека значительно увеличилась во всем мире, но этот процесс неизбежно сопровождается старением. Поэтому лица, достигшие пожилого и старческого возраста, нередко становятся немощными, особенно в физическом плане. В итоге, таким людям всё труднее даются движения, связанные с самообслуживанием и передвижением, при пользовании типовой одеждой и обувью. В процессе обследования 55 пациентов 60-87 лет, проведённого впервые с позиций медико-социальной реабилитации, получены данные о характере ограничений физических возможностей этого контингента людей, существенно осложняющих использование ими типовой одежды и обуви. Основной вывод работы заключается в актуальности разработки медико-технических требований, предъявляемых к проектированию и производству одежды и обуви специально для данной категории людей с учетом их измененных антропометрических параметров и характерных для них функциональных ограничений. According to the World Health Organization, human life expectancy has increased signifi cantly around the world over the past century, but this process is inevitably accompanied by aging. Therefore, persons who have reached the elderly and senile age often become infirm, especially physically. As a result, such people find it increasingly difficult to make movements related to self-service and movement when using standard clothing and shoes. In a study of 55 patients (from 60 to 87 years), conducted for the first time from the point of view of medical and social rehabilitation, data were obtained that reveal the nature of physical limitations of this group of people, which significantly complicate them use of standard clothing and shoes. The main conclusion of the work is the relevance of the development of medical and technical requirements for the design and production of clothing and footwear specifically for the elderly and senile taking into account their changed anthropometric parameters and their characteristic functional limitations.
