The purpose of the article is to make conceptual assessments of the implementation of the principles of inclusive rural areas development with the participation of agroholding integrated formations. Research methods. In the course of the research a number of general scientific and special methods were used, in particular: system-structural analysis and synthesis as the main methodological tool (in the analysis of directions of social responsibility and inclusive development of agroholding integrated formations); monographic (in determining the essence and methodological assessment of the role of agroholding integrated formations as integrated structures in the inclusive development of Ukraine's economy); extrapolations (with substantiation of potential and possibilities of strengthening of inclusive orientation in development of agroholding integrated formations for the future). Research results. The methodological context of inclusiveness in the effects of management in the agricultural sector of the economy in the formation of the concept of sustainability is outlined. Institutional and organizational-economic characteristics are revealed and priority roles of agroholding integrated formations in realization of principles of inclusive development of rural territories are identified. The emphasis on the direction of development of agroholding integrated formations on realization of projects of socially responsible management which will consider features of development of rural territories is defined as effective and methodically expedient. Scientific novelty. The methodological context of inclusiveness in the effects of management in the agricultural sector of the economy in the formation of the concept of sustainability is outlined. Institutional and organizational-economic characteristics are revealed and priority roles of agroholding integrated formations in realization of principles of inclusive development of rural territories are identified. The emphasis on the direction of development of agroholding integrated formations on realization of projects of socially responsible management which will consider features of development of rural territories is defined as effective and methodically expedient. Practical significance. Methodological substantiation of organizational and economic characteristics and conceptualization of the role of agroholding integrated formations in the implementation of the principles of inclusive rural areas development with proof of the need for stimulating involvement of this type of structures in the implementation of socially responsible management with projection to achieve sustainability through inclusiveness. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological provisions and develop applied recommendations for scientific and economic support of investment in the agricultural sector and increase its economic efficiency. Research methods. The study uses: dialectical method of scientific knowledge (in relation to socio-economic processes of investment in the agricultural sector and its economic effectiveness in their relationship and interdependence); analysis and synthesis (to study the state and dynamics of investment in the agricultural sector), the system method (to summarize the conclusions and justify the proposals); comparison (to compare the investment processes of agriculture and other sectors of the economy). Research results. The significant weight of capital investments of the agricultural sector in the national investment result has been established. It is determined that the investment attractiveness of agriculture is inferior to most sectors of the economic complex of the country. It is recommended to maintain state support of agriculture and agro-industrial complex to increase the economic efficiency of investment in the agricultural sector; to ensure the development of industrial, economic, social and market infrastructure in rural areas. Scientific novelty. Substantiation was further developed on the need for scientific and economic support for investment in the agricultural sector and increase its economic efficiency, improve the investment attractiveness of agriculture and the implementation of this set of economic, social and institutional measures. Practical significance. It consists in the development of recommendations for investment in the agricultural sector and increase its economic efficiency, which can be used by both public authorities and local governments, as well as businesses in the formation and implementation of investment programs and projects. The purpose of the article is to identify the necessary organizational and economic components of cooperation, integration and entrepreneurship in ensuring sustainable development of rural areas. Research methods. Methods used: historical, monographic and abstract-logical in the formation of the categories "entrepreneurship", "cooperation" and "integration"; comparison, economic and comprehensive analysis in determining the categories, unemployment rate and the role of entrepreneurship in increasing employment; statistical and economic - in determining the effectiveness of entrepreneurial activity and prospects for transformation processes in the development of the agricultural economy. Research results. It has been proved that entrepreneurship is an integral part of the stable development of the agrarian economy based on integration and cooperation. The parameters of changes in the functioning of transformational structures in the countryside are determined and a forecast for the future is given in the conditions of achieving the goal of developing rural areas. Scientific novelty. The directions of the formation of entrepreneurial structures for the period up to 2025 have been determined. Clarification of measures and principles that will be put into the development of transformation processes. Practical significance. The applied aspects of the study can be taken into account when developing programs for the development of rural areas and the formation of integration structures, will ensure the effective participation of the state aimed at supporting the development of the agricultural sector of the economy. The purpose of the article is to carry out the economic and institutional analysis of development of farms and to define prospects of strengthening of a role of this form of managing in organizational and economic maintenance of employment of the population in agricultural production. Research methods. In the process of research a number of general scientific and special methods were used, in particular: system-structural analysis and synthesis as the main methodological tool (for analysis of development and efficiency of farms in the context of employment performance evaluations); monographic (in determining the nature and methodological assessment of the priority of the role of farms as promising to ensure the socio-economic development of the territories); extrapolation (when substantiating the promising strategic priorities for the development of family farming as an entrepreneurial subsystem to ensure opportunities to solve problems of sustainable development of rural areas and employment of the rural population). Research results. The methodological context is outlined and empirical assessments of the role and trends in the development of farms in the organizational and economic support of employment are made. The specifics of characterizing the importance of farms as subjects of entrepreneurial activity in the agricultural sector of the economy, which have a special socio-economic significance in the status of implementation of the functions of the labor institution while ensuring its productivity and efficiency. A comparative assessment of the efficiency of production activities of agricultural enterprises and farms according to the product approach in the format of profitability estimates. The concept of perspective significance of family farms in the mechanism of their institutionalization into the market mechanism of agricultural employment is characterized. Scientific novelty. It is proved that in Ukraine farms, in particular family farms are extremely important in solving the problems of rural activity, are able to implement programs of mass development of agricultural employment, as well as contribute to the sustainable development of territories. It is established that farming gradually acquires efficiency that prevails over other forms of management, which is associated with the motivation of work on the basis of family employment, the personification of the results of employment on one's own farm. Theoretical and methodological assumptions are conceptualized and practical assessments of the exceptional importance of the priority of systemic support for the development of family farming in rural areas within the implementation of the global trend of promoting sustainable development as a priority model of entrepreneurial employment, a mechanism to improve welfare. Practical significance. The definition of the role of farms and family farms in the organizational and economic provision of employment of the population with a projection on the achievement of criteria for the sustainability of the development of the agricultural sector and territories is methodologically substantiated and conceptualized. The aim of the article is to investigate the role of products with a protected geographical indication in the economic and tourist development of the Lombardy region (Northern Italy) and to define tools for the balanced development of rural areas by means of enogastronomic tourism for their further implementation in Ukraine. Methodology. The research is based on general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis of information from official sources. Results. The meaning of the “Wine and Taste Road” is defined, described one of the best practices of organization a gastronomic route system on the example of the Wine and Taste Road system in the Lombardy region and the role of products with a protected geographical indication as objects of tourist attraction. Scientific novelty. The structural organization (organizational, managerial, component and territorial) of the Wine and Taste Roads system of the Lombardy region is revealed. Practical significance. In the practical aspect identified strategic directions of implementing the innovative experience of the Lombardy region in the process of development of gastronomic tourism in Ukraine.

The article examines the problems of private medicine in the health care system of the country. The aim of the article is to determine the structural components of the mechanism of activation of the private medical sector as a reserve for the provision of quality and affordable medical services and a driver for the development of the medical industry. The descriptive-analytical method, methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison, statistical, analysis and scientific generalization were used in the paper. The study substantiates the strengthening of the role of the private medical sector in the health care management system. The key problems of the domestic private medical sector and the restraining factors of its development are identified. It is concluded that it is necessary to develop a mechanism to promote the development of private medicine through a policy of active change in the health care system. The directions of activation of the private medical sector as a target reference point in the process of determining the structural elements of the organizational and economic mechanism are outlined. The structural detail of the mechanism of activation of the private medical sector for optimization of the health care system is offered. The practical significance of the obtained results is that the results of the research presented in the article are a practical basis for the development and improvement of mechanisms of public administration in the field of health care.

As ethical management, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and corporate sustainability (CS) are increasingly permeating business discourse, contemplating the role of human resources (HR) in helping organizations with socially responsible management is a proactive acceptance of stakeholders’ expectations while reinforcing the field’s identity and contribution. In response, the we examined the HR policies and practices of 46 multinational enterprises (MNEs) listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World 2018/2019 to add new insights to the literature and inform the HR field on how to move forward with socially responsible HR. Content analysis and inductive conceptualization of the MNEs’ HR activities produced a triangular pyramid for socially responsible HR, constructed with eight major themes at the individual, organizational, and institutional levels. Building on the findings, we suggest implications for practice and research, and conclude with urging the HR community to demonstrate leadership in setting the agendas and facilitating change toward socially responsible management.

The purpose of the article is to explore the prospects for the development of grain production in the Kirovograd region. Research methods. The study used dialectical methods of cognition, a systematic approach to the study of economic phenomena, monographic (generalizing domestic and foreign experience in determining the economic essence of food security), analysis and synthesis (in studying the levels of production of cereals and legumes and the level of grain supply), statistical groups (in identifying the place of regions in the national production of cereals), economic and statistical (in the processing of mass statistics), abstract and logical (in substantiating theoretical generalizations and drawing conclusions). Research results. The potential of grain production development in Kirovohrad region is considered. The analysis is based on statistical data of the crop industry. Problems of industry development are revealed and ways of solutions are offered. Scientific novelty. Analysis of the level of crop production in the Kirovohrad region in terms of using the latest technologies and yield monitoring. Practical significance. Along with some positive changes in the region's grain production, obstacles to their development have been identified. The economic and political transition brought many challenges for the Hungarian agricultural sector. The break-up of large agricultural holdings had serious negative impacts on food production and on the export of agricultural products. Capital intensive profit-seeking intermediaries dominate the trading of agricultural goods that has injurious effects in terms of downward pressure on production prices and an increase in consumer prices. Cooperatives have a key role in effectively tackling the common challenges that small-scale producers have to face. More vertical integration along the food chain could contribute to providing rural employment and to an increase in living standards in rural areas. This study reviews the development, the specific features and the driving forces of modern cooperatives in Central Europe in general, and in Hungary in particular. The purpose of the article is to investigate the problem of food shortages for a significant number of the population worldwide, taking into account the history of the problem, its causes, consequences, statistics and prospects for solving in accordance with existing trends. Research methods. Methods used: theoretical generalization - for characterizing international organizations and program goals that work to combat hunger, analysis and synthesis - for consideration the dynamics number of starving people on the planet and identify regions and countries with largest expanding such problem, comparative evaluation - for comparing absolute and relative statistical indicators in various aspects of the problem, historical - for structuring over time the measures taken to ensure sufficient food supply and their actual results, graphic - for better visualization the comparative statistics. Research results. Information on the responsible institutions that settle food shortages around the world is provided, key issues that need attention in the context of food insecurity are described, quantitative indicators of the global food problem are considered, the uneven nature of its distribution is highlighted, given list of the factors that deepen social and economic problems for the population, a clear link between poverty and chronic malnutrition is determined, critical remarks about the reality of prospect to overcome hunger according to the planned schedule are formed. Scientific novelty. An assessment of development the situation with the number of starving people in the world in the coming decades is made, taking into account an expected demographic changes and potential resources of agricultural production as a key sector in this problem. Practical significance. The provisions of the article are aimed at underlining weaknesses in the global food security system, detailing them and presenting to domestic authorities and business structures in order to find a balance between expanding export potential, participating in international initiatives and maintaining economical-effective agricultural sector. Africa is experiencing triple processes of high population growth, rapid urbanization, and digital transformation. The undercurrents of these processes suggest that the continent is turning from rural majority to urban majority, and this situation raises the question of where will this majority work? Arab Spring and the turbulent situation in the Middle East suggest what could be the result of inaction. This chapter attempts to answer this question by using exploratory research method to highlight the potential role of mainly young entrepreneurs to define, through online questionnaire responses, their preferred terrain of workplace creation in local areas, cities, rural areas and in the diverse regions of Africa as well as on the ubiquitous online work environment extending from home to anywhere in the continent. The chapter ends with a review of the observations and suggestions about future research.
