Tourism becomes a key element of the economy of any country or region that enjoys the existence of tourist resources that can be used. It is a well-known fact and, at the same time, very sad that in Romania, the tourism is under-exploited, although the tourism potential is extremely generous. Therefore, we set out to carry out a consistent study on the consumer behavior in hospitality and tourism demand and offers in Transylvania. Transylvania is one of the oldest and most beautiful historical and folkloric regions of our country. It is located in the center of the country and is the largest region in Romania, including ten counties. In addition to its rich history, Transylvania can boast impressive natural landscapes, but also with many spectacular sights, some of them unique in the country.

Bongkotan Hamlet is the smallest hamlet located in Bojasari Village, Kertek District, Wonosobo Regency. In this place there is a site of Bongkotan Temple which is the legacy of the Syailendra Dynasty. Unfortunately, this rich history has not been managed optimally. Seeing this condition, Sigit Budi Martono along with creative activists in Bongkotan Hamlet invited the community to participate in reviving the tourism potential. The idea was initiated by creating the Kumandang Market located on Bongkotan hill, just across the Bongkotan Temple site area. It is intended that the existence of temple sites and village markets can be mutually integrated so that it can attract tourists to visit. Finally, after going through a preparatory process involving the local community, the official Kumandang Market was held on June 24, 2018 by utilizing the momentum of the Eid Mubarak holiday. Until now, the Kumandang Market has been held 18 times with the number of visitors increasing every week. This shows the existence of community participation in the development of the Kumandang Market. Based on the results of the study, community participation in the development of the Kumandang Market is indicated by the participation in decision making in Kumandang Market planning, participation in the implementation of the Kumandang Market, participation in taking utility of Kumandang Market, and participation in evaluating the Kumandang Market.

Pakistan has been blessed with rich tourism potential because of its rich history, culture, biological and geographical diversity. Travelers have for quite some time been attracted to Pakistan to encounter a nation that flaunts rugged natural beauty, cultural richness, and unparalleled hospitality. Pakistan has various tourist destinations in the northern areas of Pakistan. Kumrat Valley has become a tourist hotspot in recent times after the prime minister of Pakistan, Mr. Imran Khan, visited the valley. To reduce the negative effects on these tourist destinations due to the accelerating increase in tourists, the present study used a quantitative approach to uncover whether there is an environmental awareness–behavior gap among the tourists, with their level of environmental awareness outweighing pro-environmental behavior. Using a sample of 426 tourists who have visited the valley, the analysis of the results indicates that the pro-environmental behavior is positively and significantly affected by the components, environmental awareness, environmental concern, and environmental attachment. Environmental attachment is added as a moderator between environmental awareness and pro-environmental behavior. This study suggests that environmental awareness must be promoted among tourists to ensure that they exhibit pro-environmental behavior.

Ecuador is recognized as a country with the richest biodiversity on the planet, especially in relation to its size. For its variety of natural and cultural settings, it is even considered a magical place. Tourism is currently an activity that is generating considerable foreign income and employment for Ecuador, as well as maintaining and restoring cultural traditions and natural areas in sustainable ways. Rural, community-based tourism is one form that attempts to integrate community members with tourists in an intercultural setting, while ensuring sufficient management of the experience that natural resources, heritage values and cultural rights are preserved. In Chimborazo, a larger percentage of the indigenous population than in any other province is engaged in community-based tourism, creating experiences that complement tourist visits to natural attractions. Within this context is the rural parish of Cacha, with its unique natural landscapes and rich history, considered the origin of the Great Puruwá Nation. Following a market study on generating community-based tourism in Cacha, we conclude that the concept has wide local acceptance and that there is a high demand among tourists who would be interested in learning about this region and enjoying its benefits. Additionally, marketing tourist products assists communities in maintaining their traditions and motivates young people to generate new economic activity.
