[EXPERIMENT OF ENZYME KINETICS USING GUIDED INQUIRY MODEL FOR ENHANCING CREATIVE THINGKING SKILLS] Purpose of this study was enhancing creative thinking skills of students using guided inquiry model through experiments of enzyme kinetics based on local materials. Method of this research was quasi-experimental methods, with pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Subjects of this study were chemistry students enrolled in biochemistry lab course, consisted of 18 students in the experimental class and 19 students in control class. Instrument in this study were essay test that involves 3 indikators of creative thinking  skills (i.e. fluency, flexibility, and elaboration) and also student worksheets. The results showed that the experiments of kinetics enzyme  using guided inquiry model have been enhance creative thinking skills in medium category with a value of N-gain average of 0.66. Two indikators classified in the high category are fluency and elaborationwith the value of N-gain 0,71. Meanwhile, indikator of flexibility in the medium category with a value of N-gain 0,56.

Guided inquiry learning encourages students to be more active in learning so that students' creative thinking skills can be developed. Guided inquiry learning model will assist students in empowering creative thinking skills. Creative thinking skills are described as mental activities that foster original ideas and new understandings. This study aimed to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on the creative thinking skills of Class X MA Miftahul Ulum Bettet Pamekasan. The population in the study were all students of class X MA Miftahul Ulum Bettet Pamekasan second semester 2020/2021, while the samples used were class X IPA B and IPA C. The experimental class and control class each consisted of 20 students. This research is a quantitative research with quasi-experimental research method with pretest posttest nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The results of this study indicated that guided inquiry has a significant effect on creative thinking skills. Guided inquiry learning model can be a reference in learning (especially in biology) to empower students' thinking skills.

This study aims to compare whether there are differences in analytical thinking skills between classes that use guided inquiry models and conventional classes that use discussion methods and to find out whether guided inquiry models can improve analytical thinking skills in class X SMA. This type of the research is a quasi experimental research that uses a pretest posttest control group design. The population of this research were students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Kalasan and class X SMA Negeri 1 Prambanan. The sample in this research were 4 classes with a total of 104 students. Sampling in this research was conducted by cluster random sampling. The results of the t test obtained the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, the probability value is less than 0.05, which means that there are differences in analytical thinking skills in the guided inquiry class and the conventional class. The gain score test results obtained a value of 0.71 with a high category, meaning that the use of the guided inquiry model can improve analytical thinking skills in class X SMA

This research aims to study the feasibility of learning models, student activities, and the presence or absence of problem-based learning models on the creative thinking skills of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Mlarak. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design. This study uses PBL learning models assisted by audio visual media for the experimental class and conventional models for the control class. The instrument used was a written test consisting of descriptions, while the statistical analysis used the t test (independent sample test) and one tail test.

<p>The purpose of this study is to obtain a profile of students’ creative thinking skills on quantitative project-based protein testing using local materials. Implementation of the research is using quasi-experimental method pre-test post-test control group design with 40 students involved in Biochemistry lab. The research instrument is pre-test and post-test using creative thinking skills in the form of description and students’ questionnaire. The analysis was performed with SPSS 22.0 program to see the significance normality, U Mann-Whitney test for nonparametric statistics, N-Gain score, and the percentage of student responses to the practicum performed. The research result shows that the pretest rate in the experimental group is 8.25 while in the control group is 6.90. After attending a project-based practicum with local materials, the experimental group obtained the mean of posttest is 37.55 while in control class is 11.18. The students’ improvement on creative thinking skills can be seen from the average of N-Gain in the experimental class with 0.32 (medium category) and in the control category with 0.05 (low category). The experimental and control class have different creative thinking skills significantly different fluency, flexibility, novelty, and detail. It can be concluded that quantitative project-based protein testing using local materials can improve students’ creative thinking skills. 71% of total students feel that quantitative project-based protein testing using local materials make them more creative in doing a practicum in the laboratory.</p>

This research using a quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design using the pretest-posttest score test and creative thinking ability questionnaire. Research data was obtained through tests. The results a research show that (1) there was a significan influences a CrPS learning model on students 'creative thinking abilities, (2) there was the influence of the CPS learning model on students' thematic learning outcomes.</p><p class="Abstract"><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Tujuan penelian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar tematik yang diterapkan dengan model pembelajaran CrPS di kelas eksperimen serta siswa yang diterapkan dengan model konvensional di kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan <em>design quasi eksperimen </em>dengan rancangan <em>nonequivalent control group </em>dengan menggunakan nilai tes <em>pretest-posttest</em>. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes dan angket kemampuan berpikir kreatif. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of project-based learning for the student’s activeness and creative thinking skills of students of Class X SMA N 2 Semarang. This research is experimental study with method of Quasi Experimental Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The data in this study is the result of creative thinking skills and student’s activeness. Data were analyzed using two-sample t test analysis. Research shows that 1) there is no difference in the early of ability between class that follows of project based learning process and the class that follows the cooperative learning (tresult = 0,4089 < ttable = 1,6663), 2) there is a difference between the results of creative thinking skills of  the students that follow of project-based learning (tresult = 10,12 >  ttable = 1.6663) and students who follow cooperative learning, 3) there is a difference between the student’s activeness of students that follows project-based learning (tresult = 49,56 > ttabel = 1,6663) and student who follow cooperative learning. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the project-based learning is more effective than cooperative learning in improving learning results in the form of the student’s activeness and creative thinking skills.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan generik  sains (KGS) siswa, menguji apakah KGS siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan melalui pembelajaran dengan Program Pembelajaran Fisika berbasis IT2PK, dan menyelidiki apakah pembelajaran fisika berbasis IT2PK lebih efektif dari pembelajaran reguler dalam meningkatkan KGS siswa. Penelitian  ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan kelompok kontrol tidak ekivalen dan disertai pemberian tes awal dan tes akhir (nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design). Pembelajaran pada kelompok eksperimen menggunakan pembelajaran fisika berbasis IT2PK, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran reguler. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII semester 2 tahun ajaran 2008/2009 di sebuah SMP Negeri di Kota Mataram - NTB. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes kemampuan generik sains (KGS) berbentuk tes uraian sebanyak 14 butir, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan program SPSS versi 16 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) KGS siswa setelah memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis IT2PK secara umum dalam kualifikasi baik, dengan  peningkatan skor yang dialami dikategorikan sedang; (2) setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran fisika berbasis IT2PK, KGS siswa kelompok ekperimen mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan; dan (3) pembelajaran fisika berbasis IT2PK lebih efektif dari pembelajaran reguler dalam meningkatkan KGS siswa.Kata kunci: Program pembelajaran fisika, inkuiri terbimbing tipe penyelidikan kelompok,  kemampuan generik sains   AbstractThe aim of this research is to describe the students’ generic science skills, to know whether it would have increased significantly after the students underwent learning through the Physics learning program based on guided inquiry with group investigation type or not and to examine whether it is more effective than the Regular Learning Program in improving the students’ generic science skills or not. This is a quasi-experimental study in which nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design is applied. The Physics learning program based on guided inquiry with group investigation type was employed in the experimental group, whereas the Regular Learning Program was employed in the control group. The subjects of this study are the second semester students of class VII in academic year 2008/2009 at a junior high school in Mataram NTB. The data are taken from the students’ generic science skills test in a 14 items essay test, and then they are analyzed descriptively and inferentially using SPSS 16 version for Windows. The results showed (1) the description of the students’ generic science skills, (2) after learning through the Physics learning program based on guided inquiry with group investigation type, the students’ generic science skills increased significantly; and (3) the Physics learning program based on guided inquiry with group investigation type is more effective than the Regular Learning Program in improving the students’ generic science skills. Keywords       : Physics learning program, guided inquiry with group investigation type, generic science skills

This research aims to determine differences in mathematical critical thinking skills between students who obtain mathematics learning using Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Guided Inquiry model. The research method used quasi-experimental with matching-only posttest-only control group design which implemented in one of the Junior High School of Yogyakarta. The instrument used is a valid test instrument namely posttest with descriptive evaluation. The result of this research showed that there is a difference of mathematical critical thinking skills between students who obtain mathematics learning using PBL model and students who obtain mathematics learning using guided inquiry model. Furthermore, the average of mathematical critical thinking skills between a student who obtains mathematics learning using problem based learning model is higher than students who obtain mathematics learning using guided inquiry model.

This study aims to determine the effect of practical learning on the creative thinking skills of class XI students on acid-base material at SMAN 7 Palu. This type of research was a quasi-experimental research with equivalent control group design. Sampling in this study was a purposive random sampling technique. The sample consisted of two classes students in XI MIA 2 as the experimental class (n = 24) and students in class XI MIA 4 as the control class (n = 24). Data from students' creative thinking using the one-party hypothesis testing, the right side were in this study used the statistics application and obtained sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 data based on this decision, the hypothesis is accepted if the sig (2-tailed) value is smaller than 0.05 so that it can be concluded that there is a positive effect using practical learning on the creative thinking ability of class XI students on acid-base material at SMAN 7 Palu.

This research aimed to investigating the effect of teaching science based on the Enrichment model in the development of creative thinking skills among talented students at the intermediate school. The research sample consisted of (32) students of the first year of the academic semester 1435/1436 a rate of 4 servings per week students, the current research has been used a quasi-experimental design ( Pre - Test, Post - Test, Control Group Design). To measure the pre and post-performance for the sample was used Torrence measure to creative thinking skills the formalism picture. then collected the data to measure pre and posttest, were compiled and conducted by statistical analyzes using the (independent-samples T test) to detect the significance of differences between the posteriori averages to research sample students degrees in Torrence measure to creative thinking skills, research reached the following results: There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the average of research sample degrees students in the pre application and averages of her degrees in the post application to Torrence measure of creative thinking and in each individual skill for the benefit of the post application.
