scholarly journals Violence Detection and Target Finding using Computer Vision

Recognizing savagery in recordings through CCTV is basic for requirement and investigation of reconnaissance cameras with the plan of keeping up open wellbeing. Moreover, it will be an incredible device for securing kids and help guardians settles on a superior educated choice about their children. However, this can be a difficult drawback since detecting certain nuances with no human administration isn't entirely technical however also a conceptual problem. So, our idea is to use computer vision to develop an automated technique in detecting the violent behavior/street crime criminals through surveillance cameras installed in cities and towns. When the surveillance cameras detect the abnormal behavior, it captures the scene and generates an alert by sending the captured image to the nearby police station. Further, the CCTV cameras using Cloud trigger the near-by cameras to track the particular target and its location.

Activity recognition is a topic undergoing massive research in the field of computer vision. Applications of activity recognition include sports summaries, human-computer interaction, violence detection, surveillance etc. In this paper, we propose the modification of the standard local binary patterns descriptor to obtain a concatenated histogram of lower dimensions. This helps to encode the spatial and temporal information of various actions happening in a frame. This method helps to overcome the dimensionality problem that occurs with LBP and the results show that the proposed method performed comparably with state of the art methods.

Abstract. The detection of pig growth and monitoring of abnormal behaviors are key steps in pig breeding management. Using conventional methods to obtain information on growth and abnormal behavior causes stress to pigs, directly affects the number of live pigs for market, and decreases the quality of the pork. Moreover, this approach requires considerable labor, reduces economic returns, and does not meet the requirements of high-welfare farming. Compared to the conventional methods for obtaining growth parameters and data on abnormal behaviors, modern information technology provides a new method for stress-free growth detection and behavior monitoring in farmed pigs. This article first summarizes the importance of body size, body mass, and abnormal behaviors as well as the correlations among these factors. For the research on growth detection and behavior monitoring based on computer vision, radio frequency identification (RFID) and sensor technology, methods of detecting increases in body size and body mass and methods of monitoring abnormal behaviors are summarized separately. Through computer-computer vision technology, we found that the data sampling for growth and abnormal behaviors of the pigs was achieved without contact monitoring but, rather, occurred at the expense of complex data calculation and a higher illumination requirement during data collection. However, with the development of depth camera technology and improved product performance, technology based on high-precision depth cameras reduces the amount of data processing and complexity, making it possible to obtain real-time data on pig growth and abnormal behaviors. Moreover, with the advantages of no contact and no stress, the method conforms to the requirements of welfare farming. Keywords: Abnormal behaviors, Stress-free detection, Welfare farming.

This paper will write about crimes committed by thugs in criminological studies. The purpose of this study are the factors that cause thugs to commit crimes in Batangtoru and head sector police  made by the Batangtoru police sector against thugs in Batangtoru. The research method is normative which studies the study of documents using secondary data such as statutory regulations. Based on the results of this study found factors causing thugs to commit crimes in Batangtoru regarding environmental factors, economic factors, educational factors, alcoholic drinks (alcohol). In addition, regarding crimes of thugs in Batangtoru such as the availability of free time that cannot be used for other activities, consumptive lifestyles that are accompanied by reduced work interest or job opportunities. Whereas the efforts to overcome thuggery in Batangtoru, namely the Batangtoru Sector Police, have taken preventive and repressive measures. In addition to preventive measures, the Batangtoru Police Station also took repressive efforts to crack down on thuggery actions that occurred in the community. Repressive efforts are carried out by carrying out street crime operations by raiding and cracking down on thugs in the community.<div> </div>

The phenomenon of street crime in Indragiri Hilir began to develop and is undeniable, this phenomenon gave birth to a group of criminals who commit violence. Prema violence in maintaining its existence, both in the social and economic fields. Because the economy is increasingly difficult and the higher the level of poverty. Thugs in the jurisdiction of the Indragiri Hilir Police Station began to increase in the area of community life. The purpose of this study is to determine the constraints and implementation of Law Enforcement on Thuggish Actions. This research method uses an empirical juridical approach, which means reviewing the state of the problem in the field is associated with applicable legal aspects and regulating the problem. The results of thugs in the jurisdiction of the Indragiri Hilir Police Station began to increase in the area of community life. Abnormal behavior detection from on-line/off-line videos is an emerging field in the area of computer vision. This plays a vital role in video surveillance-based applications to provide safety for humans at public places such as traffic signals, shopping malls, railway stations, etc. Surveillance cameras are meant to act as digital eyes (i.e., watching over activities at public places) and provide security. There are a number of cameras deployed at various public places to provide video surveillance, but in reality, they are used only after some incident has happened. Moreover, a human watch is needed in order to detect the person/cause of the incident. This makes surveillance cameras passive. Thus, there is a huge demand to develop an intelligent video surveillance system that can detect the abnormality/incident dynamically and accordingly raise an alarm to the nearest police stations or hospitals as per requirement. If AI-supported CCTV systems are deployed at commercial and traffic areas, then we can easily detect the incidents/crimes, and they can be traced in minimal time.

Purpose The growth of police operated surveillance cameras has out-paced the ability of humans to monitor them effectively. Computer vision is a possible solution. An ongoing research project on the application of computer vision within a municipal police department is described. The paper aims to discuss these issues. Design/methodology/approach Following the demystification of computer vision technology, its potential for police agencies is developed within a focus on computer vision as a solution for two common surveillance camera tasks (live monitoring of multiple surveillance cameras and summarizing archived video files). Three unaddressed research questions (can specialized computer vision applications for law enforcement be developed at this time, how will computer vision be utilized within existing public safety camera monitoring rooms, and what are the system-wide impacts of a computer vision capability on local criminal justice systems) are considered. Findings Despite computer vision becoming accessible to law enforcement agencies the impact of computer vision has not been discussed or adequately researched. There is little knowledge of computer vision or its potential in the field. Originality/value This paper introduces and discusses computer vision from a law enforcement perspective and will be valuable to police personnel tasked with monitoring large camera networks and considering computer vision as a system upgrade.
