This paper presents a study that contributes to the existing work on the social diffusion and interaction strategy in social media. The aim is to know the most shared post by some electronic media in the world from end to end social network, and also to know post nature of the most successful one, and the link between different kind of interaction these are main objectives of this study. Our work is also considered as a ground and a base for social network analysis researchers in all social networks in order to allow them to benefit and help in their future research work from all information collected and results found via this study. An empirical analysis using multiple methods is conducted based on 275 Facebook publications gathered from the Facebook pages of 5 electronics journals the best one in its original country represented 5 countries in the world. This contribution discovered a set of important information and it is also projected to confirm hypothesis addressed in pre-existing studies

Popularity of the social media and the amount of importance given by an individual to social media has significantly increased in last few years. As more and more people become part of the social networks like Twitter, Facebook, information which flows through the social network, can potentially give us good understanding about what is happening around in our locality, state, nation or even in the world. The conceptual motive behind the project is to develop a system which analyses about a topic searched on Twitter. It is designed to assist Information Analysts in understanding and exploring complex events as they unfold in the world. The system tracks changes in emotions over events, signalling possible flashpoints or abatement. For each trending topic, the system also shows a sentiment graph showing how positive and negative sentiments are trending as the topic is getting trended.

The social network surge has become a mainstream subject of academic study in a myriad of disciplines. This chapter posits the social network literature by highlighting the terminologies of social networks and details the types of tools and methodologies used in prior studies. The list is supplemented by identifying the research gaps for future research of interest to both academics and practitioners. Additionally, the case of Facebook is used to study the elements of a social network analysis. This chapter also highlights past validated models with regards to social networks which are deemed significant for online social network studies. Furthermore, this chapter seeks to enlighten our knowledge on social network analysis and tap into the social network capabilities.

Many different areas of computer science have been developed for many years in the world. Data mining is one of the fields which many algorithms, methods, and models have been built and applied to many commercial applications and research successfully. Many social networks have been invested and developed in the strongest way for the recent years in the world because they have had many big benefits as follows: they have been used by lots of users in the world and they have been applied to many business fields successfully. Thus, a lot of different techniques for the social networks have been generated. Unsurprisingly, the social network analysis is crucial at the present time in the world. To support this process, in this book chapter we have presented many simple concepts about data mining and social networking. In addition, we have also displayed a novel model of the data mining for the social network analysis using a CLIQUE algorithm successfully.

The social networking revolution allows people to share their opinions with their surrounding society, enabling the ability to influence others. Large amounts of consumer reviews are posted on social networks, expressing experiences, either positive or negative, regarding products/services. These reviews are instantly distributed within a huge network of consumers, challenging the firms' managers who need to cope with that. This research study examines the phenomenon of consumers' reviews posted on social networks to measure the influence of negative reviews on the reader's buying decisions and on the firms' attitudes. This research study examines if there are differences between active users, who post and share reviews, and passive users who only read what others posted. This research study was performed merging three sources of information: (1) monitoring consumer posts on three Facebook pages during six months; (2) performing a relevant questionnaire among 201 respondents, and (3) checking the related firms' reaction to those posts. The findings revealed that potential consumers base their decisions on posted reviews; they are exposed to negative reviews that affect their purchase decisions, incoherently to the manner they use the social network (active or passive users), while the firms mostly react, in order to diminish their influence.

El concepto de red resulta útil para el estudio de relaciones sociales que tienen la particularidad de ser dinámicas, intermitentes y no necesariamente limitadas a un tiempo, una dirección o un espacio. Desde este punto de vista podemos privilegiar la mirada sobre las relaciones sociales más que sobre las características particulares de los individuos y de su posición en la sociedad en su conjunto.Sobre la base de un trabajo de campo realizado en el Valle de Uco (Mendoza, Argentina) observamos que las distintas redes nos ayudan a explicar las relaciones sociales desplegadas en el mundo del trabajo.Palabras claves: Trabajadores temporarios. The importance of the social networks in the world of temporary rural workers. Abstract This paper seeks to analyze different links used by temporary rural workers to build their employability. The network concept is useful to study social relations that have the particularity of being dynamic, intermittent and not necessarily limited to one time, address or space. From this point of view we favor the use of a social relations perspective, rather than one based on the particular characteristics of individuals and their position in the society as a whole.Based on fieldwork conducted in the Valle de Uco (Mendoza, Argentina), we find that networks help to explain social relations unfolded in the world of labor.Keywords: Temporary rural workers. PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to bring a more individual focus to social networks in theorizing the social process of knowledge sharing.Design/methodology/approachThe theoretical model proposes that political skill will shape an individual's social network. Further, political skill within a network will influence the degree of complex knowledge sharing, which likely happens through the mechanism of affective- and cognitive-based trust.FindingsTheoretical implications and future research directions are discussed.Originality/valueKnowledge sharing is an inherently social process and as such occurs within the context of social networks in an organization. However, research to date has not fully explored the details of how and why complex knowledge sharing happens within a social network. Generally, theory on social networks has focused on structural qualities of a network, rather than the individual characteristics of the members of that network. This paper brings a more individual focus to social networks in theorizing the social process of knowledge sharing.

Purpose Guided by social resource theory, this study aims to examine the influence of conflict (i.e. task and relationship) on performance. The authors investigated whether job engagement mediates this relationship and whether social network quality moderates the relationship between conflict, job engagement and performance. Design/methodology/approach The authors built and tested a moderated mediation model, using data from 217 graduate students. Findings Results showed that job engagement operates as a mediating mechanism between task conflict and performance. The authors also found that the indirect effect of job engagement depended upon the quality of the social networks. When the quality of the social network was high, both the task and relationship conflict did not negatively influence the association between job engagement and performance. Research limitations/implications These findings provide new insights into how social embeddedness in the form of social network quality can create a social context in which conflict works out less detrimental. Practical implications Given that employees are interdependent and coworkers are likely to differ in their personal values and opinions, the authors conclude that managers should facilitate the development of meaningful relationships at work. Originality/value Whereas prior research has found conflict (i.e. task and relationship) to negatively associate with performance, the authors show that social networks do affect the strength of the relationship between conflict (i.e. task and relationship) and performance.

Social network is term used to refer to the social structure that is made up of a set of social actors. The social actors in this case include organizations or individuals. Social networks allow people to interact and socialize as they get to learn and know each other. Through social networking sites, people from different parts of a country or the world also get to meet and interact. However, there have been issues with regards to social network privacy for those who use the internet to use social network sites. This paper will look at some of the factors that affect trust of the users as well as the privacy issues related to social networks (Fernandez, 2009).

Because of the complexity of the actors and the relationships between them, social networks are always represented by graphs. This structure makes it possible to analyze the effectiveness of the network for the social actors who are there. This work presents a social network analysis approach that focused on processing Facebook pages and users who react to posts to infer influential people. In our study, we are particularly interested in studying the relationships between the posts of the page, and the reactions of fans (users) towards these posts. The topics covered include data crawling, graph modeling, and exploratory analysis using statistical tools and machine learning algorithms. We seek to detect influential people in the sense that the influence of a Facebook user lies in their ability to transmit and disseminate information. Once determined, these users have an impact on business for a specific brand. The proposed exploratory analysis has shown that the network structure and its properties have important implications for the outcome of interest.

In this paper is dedicated to the World Cup held in the city of Samara from June 15 to July 15, 2018. As part of the work, a multithreaded collection in real time was organized, filtering and processing messages from users of the social network Twitter within the host city and its surroundings from May 15 to August 15, 2018. Then, a study was conducted of the texts of user messages on the subject of the popularity of topics and the construction of a “word cloud”. The second study was the construction of a diagram of the dynamics of the number of messages in different languages. As part of the work, modules for collecting, filtering and processing data using BigData technology were implemented.
