In the process of corporate brand image design, material selection is the first step of corporate brand image design and it shall obey the principle of environmental protection and resource conservation. Improvement of attention consciousness to green materials directly affects building of corporate brand image. From the angle of safety, in-depth study was done aimed at material application in corporate packaging and image wall; feasibility of its processing and implementation was discussed under the current technical conditions like property and functional structure of the materials to satisfy the limitation of sustainable development in the process of building brand image.

While the hardware of the domestic hotel has reached the international first-class, there is still much room left in software and benefit level at present. According to the outlook on scientific development and the requirement of sustainable development, we have to face up to the problem of the lack of environmental protection in the course of hotel construction in the tide of global competition. The author puts forward some problems in the transition process from the traditional hotel to green hotel. The author also gives corresponding countermeasures to solve the problems in the hotel industry through the explanation of the green hotels.

Education for sustainable development (ESD) enjoys a huge momentum worldwide in which the role of teachers for making sustainable development goals a reality has been recognized significantly. Teachers through their knowledge, attitudes and skills can bring the learning about these concepts to the curriculum and class room interaction and are in a position to influence their students. Therefore it is pertinent, that teachers are sensitised towards these issues, so that they prepare and nurture their students for making appropriate and responsible choices which contribute to a sustainable future. At this juncture it becomes crucial to understand their priorities and awareness level in context of the sustainable development. The present research paper aims to analyse the perception of forty post graduate pre-service teachers of the Chandigarh region, towards ESD through the dimensions of economic sustainability, environmental sustainability, social sustainability and cultural sustainability. For this researchers have adopted qualitative content analysis methodology for an in-depth study of the subjective responses through an open ended question. The findings suggest that most of the respondents associated the perception of ESD strongly with environmental sustainability. It is noted that the pre-service teachers lack a holistic approach towards ESD. On the basis of the findings it is recommended that there is an urgent need of integrating the concept of ESD consciously and conscientiously in India’s teacher education programmes.

This study evaluates the total length of tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum ) captured in the middle Solimões river and traded during seven years (1993, 1997 and 2000 to 2005) in the Tefé market, Amazon, Brazil. The Mamirauá Institute of Sustainable Development obtained measurements of the total lengths from 42207 individuals. The length average was 45.23 ± 6.29 cm (minim um of 13 cm and maximum of 105.5 cm ) and the mode was 45 cm . From the total tambaquis, 92.86% were smaller than 55 cm and 7.14% measured 58.24 ± 5.41 cm on average. Medium and standard deviation of the lengths recorded in all years showed sizes below the established by the environmental federal agency. The Kruskal Wallis test showed that there is no significant difference between the abundances and medium sizes of the captures during all months of the year. The historical data of the tambaqui fisheries for the middle Solimões region indicate that individuals of this species have been constantly captured at sizes below the minim um length of reproduction. Nine recommendations for tambaquis fisheries management in the region related to more efficient mechanisms of inspection, auto-ecology studies of the species, environmental protection, reduction of fishery pressure, diffusion and educational cam paigns that aim to correct exploitation of this resource are presented in this manuscript.
