In the light of the shortcomings of traditional wireless data acquisition structure, the thesis analyzes the advantages of data transmission by GPRS, and then a remote monitoring system based on GPRS technology is proposed. The thesis focuses on overall structure of the system, the circuit design and work process of the remote terminal. It describes the realization method of using Socket multithreading technology to achieve network communication in data center.

NC machine monitoring system is built based on the wireless data acquisition. All kinds of the complicated information can be collected, and the test server can process the information. Some important information can transmit by the network, and the client and web can browse them and feedback to the NC machine. The experiment was done on the system platforms, and basic functions were realized. It provides a new method that it can solve the key problem of the NC machine remote monitoring.

This document analyze the important impact of soil temperature and humidity on the tea trees growth, and design a kind of remote monitoring system of soil temperature and humidity of tea garden based on GPRS. In this system AT89C2051 is used as controller, and it control SHT11 timing collect soil temperature and humidity information, and using AT commands control the GPRS module to access internet, establish TCP connection between the detection terminal and the data center, then remote transmit collection data to monitoring center, store and manage data by database. The application results proved that the solution is feasibility.

In this paper, the remote monitoring system based on WINCC and GPRS is introduced. Status data of field devices collected by Siemens S7-200 PLC is transferred to the data center through GPRS wireless communication network of China mobile and field devices are controlled by PLC receiving commands from the host computer. So, production efficiency and economy benefit are improved greatly.

This paper presents the remote monitoring system for data-center based on GSM/GPRS Network. The System real-time monitors the data-center room temperature through ZigBee wireless network, and gets the air conditionings and servers running status through the serial port, and achieves communication to administrator through SMS-Modem and GSM/GPRS Network. This system enables administrators can easily understand the status of the data-center room and remote control the data-center room anytime and anywhere.

For monitoring the water quality in river, and improving the accuracy of the transmission in network, the remote monitoring system based on wireless sensor network is designed. The topology of cluster for the wireless sensor network was adopted, and the amendment version of LEACH-H protocol is also designed based on LEACH. The circuit design of sensor for concentration of nitrite and DO is also presented. For the remote wireless communications between the sink node and remote control center, the GPRS module is adopted. The test show that communications among the system are realized reliably and the requirements are met respectively. The application of the system can well meet the demands of remote monitoring system for water quality.

To the inconvenience problem of laying the cable, a new remote monitoring system for power based on wireless communication is designed. The overall structure of system is put forward to bring the design method of the remote terminal unit which is the key of monitoring system. Adopting the commercial wireless serial data transfer radio to realize the wireless communication between center RTU or computer and remote field RTU. According to design the multiple control modes (including: remote manual control, remote automatic control, and local control) to introduce the application of system and indicate that it is satisfied to monitor remote field power in the aerospace experiment tasks.
