The objective of this paper is to introduce a newly developed Hydraulic In-wheel Motor Drive System (HIMDS) mainly made up of a variable displacement pump and two motors. The new HIMDS is primarily applied to heavy truck to improve its passing ability when encountering the low-roads. This paper Not only illustrates the structure and working principle of the system, but also gives a detailed description of calculation of the improvement in traction force and climbing capacity of the vehicle after working with HIMDS. The Simulation results show that after using the system, the vehicle traction force was increased by 23%, and the climbing capacity was improved by 30% mostly.

In this paper, a method for conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) prediction in Electric Vehicle motor drive system based on components’ circuit models is presented. Firstly, the characteristics of the components are analyzed and the equivalent circuits are drew; then, the parasitic parameters of the electromagnetic device are extracted by the measurement, analytical solution and finite element method (FEM); and finally, the circuit model of the whole motor drive system in high frequency range is established. This model is verified by the measurement and simulation results in the frequency domain.

On the basis of analysis of dq model of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and principle of field oriented control (FOC), detail modelling of PMSM drive system and simulation results presented in this paper. The PMSM model is based on electronic components rather than mathematical blocks, this enabled us to achieve simulation results more realistic. Moreover all the modules of this simulation, such as inverter and pwm generator are made from scratch instead of using premade Simulink blocks. Simulation was carried on the basis of step change in speed and torque then made performance comparison of several parameters such as abc current, dq current, speed and torque.

Based on introduction of the basic configuration, working features of hydraulic drive system of the cutter head in a shield machine, the internal structure of the bidirectional variable displacement pump, BVDP, as the kernel element in the above hydraulic system, is depicted and compared with the ordinary variable plunger pump. Then the working principle and process of hydraulic pilot operated servo displacement adjustment about the BVDP are discussed in detail, and then the mathematical models and its transfer functions of the positive and negative displacement adjustments are established respectively. Also, the relationships between the primary performance indices such as stability condition, positioning stiffness, steady-state error, as well as initial control pressure and system parameters are analysis and concluded.

Background: A multi-motor synchronous drive control system is widely used in many fields, such as electric vehicle drive, paper making, and printing. Methods: On the basis of the optimized structure of ADRC, a fuzzy first-order active disturbance rejection controller was developed. Double channels compensation of extended state observer was employed to estimate and compensate the total disturbances, and an approximate linearization and deterministic system was obtained. As the parameters of ADRC are adjusted online by a fuzzy controller, the performance of the controller is effectively improved. Results: Based on the SIMATIC S7-300 induction motor control experimental platform, the performances of anti-interference and tracking performance are tested. Conclusion: The actual experimental results indicated that compared with PID control, induction motor drive system controlled by fuzzy ADRC has higher dynamic and static status and following performances and stronger anti-interference abilities.
