The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of employee competencies and employee motivation simultaneously or partially on the quality of services at the Investment and Integrated One Top Service Agency of Palembang city. This study uses a quantitative research approach with census strategies. The study population was 25 civil servants. The data used is cross section data collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with F test and t test. The results showed that employee competency and employee motivation simultaneously had a positive effect on the quality of services; employee competence partially has a positive effect on the quality of services; and employee motivation simultaneously has a positive effect on the quality of services Palembang city.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of a modern tax administration system, service quality, and taxpayer awareness on individual taxpayer compliance (WPOP). This research was conducted at KPP Pratama Denpasar Timur. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis obtained a modern tax administration system, service quality, and awareness of taxpayers have a positive and significant effect on WPOP compliance. This shows that if the tax administration system is implemented well, it will tend to increase compliance with WPOP reporting. Service quality also has a positive effect on WPOP compliance, this proves that the better the quality of services provided will make the taxpayer more compliant in fulfilling his obligations. The topic of Customer profitability is a focal concern for telecommunication sector who seeks to identify its antecedents and causal structure with the aim of better understanding managing customer profitability. For this reason, Customer expansion processes and “Knowledge from Customer” is widely used in this competitive environment to achieve Customer profitability. The purpose of this paper is to suggest a model that defines how the combination between Customer expansion processes and “Knowledge from Customer” would achieve the Customer profitability. This paper adapts the quantitative research approach by using the survey strategy which is conducted by a questionnaire collected from 193 people working in the management position of Jordanian telecommunication organizations. The researcher uses the Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) as an analysis technique to test all hypotheses. The findings suggest that there is a positive effect on adapting the Customer expansion processes for improving the Customer profitability mediated by the “Knowledge from Customer”.

Purpose of this study for examine and analyze the influence of the quality of service that consists of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy for customers satisfaction Orenztaxi. This study used a quantitative research using surveys and questionnaires to 100 Orenztaxi customers in Surabaya. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. It was found that the variable quality of services consisting of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy simultaneously have an influence on customers satisfaction at Orenztaxi Surabaya and the variable quality of services consisting of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy partially positive and significant effect on customers satisfaction at Orienztaxi Surabaya.

The purpose of this study is to analyze in depth the effect of health and religious beliefs on consumer consciousness of using halal cosmetics. The subjects of this study are adult women who use cosmetics labeled halal and domiciled in Medan city. The number of samples is 100 people based on convenience sampling. Questionnaire is a data collection tool used in this study while the type is quantitative research. The analysis technique uses a variance-based SEM (PLS) approach with the Smart PLS 3 program. The findings of this study are that health and religious beliefs have a significant and positive effect on consumer consciousness of using halal cosmetics. The government, producers and cosmetics users must know that the concept of halal in cosmetics can be used as a global symbol to ensure the quality of the lifestyle of cosmetic consumers in the world. Because halal has positive scores for all lines of society. As healthy, clean, and protected from harmful ingredients. So this study recommends the need for the government which has the authority to consider halal cosmetic concepts to make regulations in producing cosmetics. Whereas for producers is a business opportunity or strategy to get more income. Because someone will be more aware of a positive after experiencing the effects of consuming something that can endanger her life.

In today's highly competitive environment, the organizations have been paying considerable attention to improve their customer satisfaction. For this reason, the purpose of this paper is to suggest a model defines how the combination between customer acquisition processes and knowledge about customer would improve the customer satisfaction. This paper adapts the quantitative research approach by using the survey strategy which is conducted by a questionnaire collected from 193 people working in the management position of Jordanian telecommunication organizations. The researcher uses the PLS as an analysis technique to test all hypotheses. The findings suggest that there is a positive effect of adapting the customer acquisition processes in improving the customer satisfaction mediating by the knowledge about customer. The proposed model makes a contribution on the part of the customer acquisition processes and the knowledge about customer and can be used as a structure of reference for the incorporation between them in order to attain the customer satisfaction.

Kinship, family composition and household dynamics among siblings are developed positively or negatively in early life right through adulthood. Hence, the purpose of this paper is highlight the importance of family environment in influencing sibling relationship, with emphasis on sibling rivalry. Determining the factors that contribute towards sibling competition is important in counselling and assisting individuals with family issues. From a quantitative research approach, the findings showed that sibling relationships are problematic and has led to jealousies and prejudices especially if parents take sides. Family ties depend on happy sibling interactions which indirectly affects socio-economic developments as social ills are resolved. In ameliorating these private and sensitive issues among family members, the holistic society will benefit psychologically and happiness as well as a better quality of life will be attained.© 2016. Abstract— The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of solvency on stock returns by using EPS as a moderating variable in the Food and Beverage companies listed on the IDX for the period 2015-2017. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The research observation data were 36 companies. The analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis, classic assumption test and hypothesis testing using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of the study prove that solvency has a not significant positive effect on stock returns and EPS reinforces the effect of solvency on stock returns. The smaller the level of solvability, the smaller the risk obtained. Keywords—: Solvability; Returns; EPS.

Tthe objective of this study is to determinethe effect of slack resources and board’s gender on the quality of corporate social responsibility disclosures. The analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis methods. The sample in the study were 28 companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange and reported sustainability reports for 2015-2017, so that 84 observations were obstained. The results find that slack resources have negative effect on CSR disclosure quality, while the gender on board of directors have positive effect on CSR disclosure quality. There is no relationship between commissioner’s gender and CSR disclosure quality. The control variables used in this study are company size, profitability and leverage, company size and leverage has a influence on CSR disclosure quality while the profitability has no influence on CSR disclosure quality

This study aims to understand accountability and improve financial management as well as partial and simultaneous motivation for teacher performance in SMAN 1 dan SMAN 68 Jakarta. The research approach is a quantitative and associative quantitative approach. Data obtained using a questionnaire. The population is 82 teachers of SMAN 1 and SMAN 68, Central Jakarta, using saturated sample techniques. Data analysis technique is statistical analysis of multiple linear regression. The results of the study, partially the accountability variable has a positive effect on teacher performance. Transparency variable does not significantly influence teacher performance. The motivation variable partially has a significant effect on performance. Simultaneously the accountability, transparency and motivation variables significantly influence teacher performance. The ability of accountability, transparency, and motivation to explain changes in teacher performance is 58.4%. Among the three variables that most dominant influence teacher performance is motivation, thus motivation is very helpful for teachers in improving their performance.

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of the Smart Indonesia Card assistance on school expectations in East Java Province. This research is a quantitative research with 2017 SUSENAS data with 496 consonations. The analysis technique used to prove and test the hypothesis proposed is logistic regression technique. The results of this study resulted in that the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) had a significant and positive effect on school participation and school participation in the previous school year (2015/2016) in the East Java province. In addition, household characteristics, namely the level of education of the head of the household, also significantly and positively influenced school participation and school participation in the previous school year (2015/2016) in the East Java province. Job status variables of the head of the household have a significant and positive effect on school participation but have no significant effect on school participation in the previous school year (2015/2016).
