Åndens hermeneutik. En læsning af “I al sin Glands nu straaler Solen ”[The hermeneutics of the Spirit. A reading of “I al sin Glands nu straaler Solen ”]By Jakob Ulrik HansenThis article takes as its point of departure the question of how Grundtvig in his hymns seems to amalgamate the seasons, the biblical world, legendary material and historical events without reflecting on time. Through a reading of “I al sin Glands nu straaler Solen” (In all its Splendour now the Sun shines), the article discusses what enables this particular form of poetic hermeneutics.The blending of early-summer sun with divine light “Glands” (splendor or doxa) in the beginning of the hymn generates a vision of the world in two levels, which becomes constitutive of the entire hymn. In the following stanza, summer becomes an image of the recovered connection with Paradise through the Pentecostal spirit, e.g. in the breeze through the leaves and the rippling water in the creek. This divine affiliation of the natural phenomena is indicated by various allusions to their provenance in Paradise. The centre of the hymn, stanza 4, relates how the spirit descends and speaks in the world. The spirit, however, does not speak by itself, but as part of the Trinity. Stanza 5 narrates the awakening of the congregation and its assembly for worship, and in stanza 6 all languages merge into a united “Hallelujah”, a word generally reserved for angels. The hymn ends with the description of the glory of God's kingdom.The article concludes that Grundtvig’s amalgamation of events, times and opposites in this hymn presupposes a particular conceptualisation of the spirit, and it leaves as an open question that awaits further study whether this conceptualisation of the spirit and hermeneutics is a central feature in many of Grundtvig’s other hymns.

<p>The reunion of a man with God is the subject of a medieval text which aggregates excerpts from the Bible and Arabic alchemical texts that had recently become available in Europe. The Aurora Consurgens personifies God as Wisdom, a spiritual being who not only formed the world in the beginning but is also a guide to men to return to God subsequent to their separation at the Fall. The union of feminine Wisdom and a man is aligned with pairs of opposites such as spirit and soul, and is also conflated with the union of a man and a woman. While the text is perhaps falsely ascribed to St. Thomas, it is consistent with his ideas so that it may be explicated using his writings on the Trinity, psychology, angels, and Greek philosophy. From there, correspondence is established with C. G. Jung‘s concept of archetypes, and the text is subsequently interpreted from the perspective of analytical psychology. It is identified how interaction of archetypes associated with the union of a man and a woman provide an explanation for the process of redemption given in the Aurora. A similar process of redemption is identified in other writings from the beginning of the Christian era up to the modern teachings of the Catholic Church.</p>

AbstractAlthough the present publication does completely meet the requirements for an academic article, we have decided to publish it because of the insights it provides into the latest developments within the Kimbanguist Church in Congo. The author is a theologian who was Dean of the Kimbanguist Faculty of Theology in Lutendele near Kinshasa until mid 2003. He was deeply involved in the problems that arose in the beginning of the 21st century. He is also a person who is able to explain diligently the views of the different parties in the Kimbanguist Church. However, due to his own involvement in these developments the article has rather the character of a document written by a well-educated participant observer, who is very familiar with his subject, than that of a publication authored by a scholar who does his utmost to remain neutral.The document explains the theological, religious and contextual backdrops of the doctrine of the Trinity developed in the Kimbanguist Church, for in this church the persons of the Trinity are narrowly connected with the founder of the church and his family. Since 2001 these connections were even made more intense. Interestingly there are some Biblical reasons for it as well, but nonetheless the church seems to loose doctrinal familiarity with the other churches in the world through these new evolutions.

The following work examines stylistic peculiarities of Ingush and Kazakh felts, offers the parallels of manufacturing technology as well as traditional décor of Ingush and Kazakh original carpets. The aim of the study is to elicit mutual historically contingent stylistic features of Ingush and Kazakh felts arrangement. In the process of the study we used semantic as well as comparative and contrastive analyses aimed on iconologic method and image discrimination theory. The hypothesis of different felt methods, more archaic ornament elements as well as the technology of its creation, are in fact similar in the art of these people, not being in close kinship, finds its endorsement. These facts justify juxtaposition of the cultures of their ancestors in the beginning of Middle ages when Huns – people of Central Asia decent – took up their residence in North Caucasus. Huns, being the representatives of historical and cultural commune of the barren world, possessed similar points of view on life order. In their notion the structure of the world was controlled by Tengri – the head of God’s pantheon. In nomad’s applied arts he was depicted as a rosette. North Caucasus indigenous population (Scythian Sarmatians and Sarmatian Alans) worshipped Kuar the Sun, the notion of whom merged with the image of Tengri and stuck in well-known visual symbols, found in decorations following their world view. The elements of archaic ornament and the manufacturing technologies in accordance with the succession principle in folk arts carried on through centuries. They formed the base of stylistic peculiarities of modern felts among both Ingush and Kazakh people.

Abstract This article discusses a central feature in the poetics of Martín Rivas (1862): its realism. It describes the way in which the particularisation of experience and the breakdown of the old theory of the levels of discourse – two main components of realism – are embodied in the novel. Like its models in French realism, Martín Rivas focuses on the unique experiences of singular subjects. This particularisation, however, rarely acquires an interclass dimension, as it did in French forms. The “ideas of realism” are misplaced in Martín Rivas. The novel represents times, spaces, and people in the dramatically reduced frame of the times, spaces, and people of the oligarchy. It signifies a return to the same old rule that European realism had broken from. Blest Gana’s realism could be considered, therefore, as an example of the Chilean modo de ser aristocrático [aristocratic way of being], that is, a set of cultural operations which allow the oligarchy to live their privileges as natural, far from the bourgeois ethos. This insight can be a point of departure for an international discussion as we think about how these transformations might enter into dialogue with similar phenomena in other parts of the world.

The paper applies to the work of one of the most important Polish writers of the last decade. Bargielska combines bold poetic experiments with a keen testimony of an ordinary life of a young woman, who experiences life in the beginning of the 21st century in Poland. On the one hand, the poet declares a conservative worldview (her value system is based on the “trinity”: Catholicism, heterosexuality, motherhood), on the other hand, she brutally and mercilessly uncovers the subjugation of a woman in the world of a male-dominated language. Her writing deconstructs this system, as it discovers the literature as a space for the practice of personal freedom beyond the slogans and ideological divisions; she manages to create her own independent form of existence. The poet renews feminine way of being through the deconstruction of religious myths and cultural stereotypes, confronted with the physiological and social reality.

Learning happens through experience. Familiarity is the master of life that shapes the individual. Every individual learns from nature. Nature teaches how to sustain, withdraw and advocate the prevailing situations. Some dwell into the deep realities of nature and nurture as ideal human beings. Life is a puzzle. How to solve it is a million dollar question that can never be answered so easily. The perception of life changes from individual to individual making them either physically powerful or feeble. Society is not made of only individuals. Along with individuals it has nature, emotions, spiritual powers and superstitious beliefs which bind them. Among them the most crucial and alarming is the emotions which are interrelated to others. Alone the emotional intelligence is going to guide the life of an individual. For everyone there is an inner self which makes them conscious of their deeds. The guiding force should always force the individual to choose the right path.  Writers are the powerful people who have rightly guided the society through their ingenious pen outs.  The present article is going to focus on how the major elements bound together are dominating the individual’s self through Rabindranath Tagore’s Home and the World (1916)

Исследование «Языковой картины мира» и «Концептуальной картины мира» в триединстве «Язык-мышление-мир» является одной из актуальных проблем современного языкознания. Языковая картина мира - специфический для данного языка способ отражения и представления действительности в языковых формах и структурах в ее отношении с человеком, который является центральной фигурой языка. ABSTRACT: The article deals with anthroponomy of the Arab-Persian origin that are devoted to the cults of the God, and related to them cognitive phraseologies in Turkic languages. The main cognitive concepts that are reflected in the national Turkic in verbal parasitological units from lingo-cultural and ethno linguistic aspects are analyzed. Now consider the language picture of the world in general human cognition in the unity of the world model, and with the same conceptual view of the world is a philosophical and philological concept. The study «Language world» and «Linguistic Map of the World» in the trinity «Language-thought-world» is one of the urgent problems of modern linguistics. Language world - a specific method for the language of reflection and representation of reality in language forms and structures in its relation with the person who is the central figure of the language. In recent years the economy has become globalized. Globalization is the increased flow of goods, services, capital, people, and culture facilitated by innovations in transportation and communication technologies. This chapter examines the phenomenon of globalization and its impact on Catholic social teaching. It looks, in particular, at Pope Benedict XVI’s encyclical Caritas in Veritate. Pope Benedict criticizes how the current global economy exploits and excludes vulnerable populations around the world. Caritas in Veritate further develops the communio framework initiated by John Paul II and proposes that the communion of the three Persons of the Trinity provides a model for the shape globalization should take, recognizing unity in the midst of diversity. The chapter also looks at how Catholic social thought itself is globalizing, examining in particular the work of Mary Mee-Yin Yuen from Hong Kong and Stan Chu Ilo from Nigeria.
