This paper focuses on the analysis of the aviation industry machining technology transformation, and its current development status. The entire development plan for numerical control machine tool needs to be perfected, and the balance of numerical control technology development has to be strengthened. Additionally, the utilization rate of numerical control machines is relatively low; thus, raise the rate of equipment, numerical control, and numerical control equipment usage, and enhance the mechanical processing technology management task. Its aim is to improve aviation industry machining efficiency, which leads to a good development in China’s aviation industry.

An automatic tool-setting and workpiece online detecting system was proposed to study the key technologies of next-generation intelligent vision computerized numerical control (CNC) machines. A computer vision automatic tool-setting system for a CNC machine was set up on the basis of the vision tool-setting principle. A rapid vision calibration method based on the position feedback from the CNC machine was proposed on the basis of the theory of traditional vision system calibration. The coordinate mapping relationship of the image and the CNC machine, the tool-setting mark point on the workpiece, and the tool tip were calibrated. The vision system performance testing and system calibration experiments were performed. Experimental results indicated that the time consumption was 128 ms in image processing. The precision of tool setting and measuring was less than 1 μm. The workpiece positioning and processing online detection function of the system can completely meet the requirements of visual CNC machine application, and the system has wide application prospects.

Abstract Five-axis ball-end milling is used extensively to machine parts with sculptured surfaces. This paper presents the general cutting dynamics model of the ball-end milling process for machine tools with different five-axis configurations. The structural dynamics of both the tool and workpiece are considered for the prediction of chatter stability at each tool location along the tool path. The effects of tool–workpiece engagement and tool axis orientation are included in the model. By sweeping the spindle speeds, the chatter-free spindle speeds are selected followed by the prediction of forced vibrations in five-axis milling of thin-walled, flexible parts. The proposed model has been experimentally illustrated to predict the chatter stability and forced vibrations on a table-tilting five-axis computer numerical control machine tool.

In order to study the modular design of computer numerical control machine tools oriented to customer demands, the customer demand information model was established based on rough analytic hierarchy process and information entropy by analyzing and transforming customer demands. Based on the domain mapping method of axiomatic design and quality function deployment integration, the product function model and structure model of computer numerical control machine tools are established. Based on fuzzy clustering analysis, the module division of computer numerical control machine tools is studied, and the dynamic clustering diagram of computer numerical control machine tools is formed with MATLAB as the operating environment. Based on Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution method, the scheme of computer numerical control machine tools module division is evaluated. Taking the horizontal computer numerical control machine tool products of Shenyang Machine Tool Group as an example, the module division is carried out. The example design and the result analysis prove that the module division system is very effective and fast.
