This paper aims at studying how the syntactic component of language develops in the speech of people with Broca’s and Wernicke’s aphasia in interface with prosody and informational structure. The data consists of two short interviews in English with aphasic patients. Broca’s aphasia is characterized by the difficulty in processing and producing syntactic structures. In Wernicke’s aphasia, the semantic component is affected, which ends up generating a disconnected and meaningless speech. It was found that in Broca’s aphasia the patient marked some heads of English in final position – as head-final similar to languages like Japanese – instead of head-first, a common parameter of English. In Wernicke’s aphasia, there were some inadequacies in the use of adjuncts and complements that resulted in semantic anomalies.

In this paper, inference upon stress-strength reliability is considered for unit-Weibull distributions with a common parameter under the assumption that data are observed using progressive type II censoring. We obtain di_erent estimators of system reliability using classical and Bayesian procedures. Asymptotic interval is constructed based on Fisher information matrix. Besides, boot-p and boot-t intervals are also obtained. We evaluate Bayes estimates using Lindley's technique and Metropolis-Hastings (MH) algorithm. The Bayes credible interval is evaluated using MH method. An unbiased estimator of this parametric function is also obtained under know common parameter case. Numerical simulations are performed to compare estimation methods. Finally, a data set is studied for illustration purposes.

The transformation processes in Central and Eastern Europe, including Bulgaria, are subject of many investigations in the last two decades. Up to now there is no geographical survey on the territorial differences and their course in Bulgaria. The aim of this investigation is to study these differences in the transformation process in Bulgaria by 28 administrative districts (NUTS3). On the basis of analyses and comparisons of GDP per capita in different units (an indicator, accepted by specialists as the most common parameter) and the calculated values of integral indicator (reflecting the influence of 15 interlocked factors), the existing significant differences in the achieved level of transformation in the country are shown. At this stage there is no sufficient research to determine the threshold value of the integral indicator and to say with certainty that the territorial units, having values above it, are winners from the transformation process, and those with values below it, are losers.

This paper presents several techniques used in text steganography in term of feature-based and word-rule based. Additionally, it analyses the performance and the metric evaluation of the techniques used in text steganography. This paper aims to identify the main techniques of text steganography, which are feature-based, and word-rule based, to recognize the various techniques used with them. As a result, the primary technique used in the text steganography was feature-based technique due to its simplicity and secured. Meanwhile, the common parameter metrics utilized in text steganography were security, capacity, robustness, and embedding time. Future efforts are suggested to focus on the methods used in text steganography.

Water quality can be determined by doing certain test. Common parameter for determination water quality was physical, chemical, and biological parameter. This research was determined physical parameter, such as water colour, temperature, and TDS. Water colour determination was using eyesight sense while for temperature and TDS using a tool, thermometer for temperature determination and TDS-meter for TDS determination. Samples were taken from 5 Kelurahan in Dumai Timur District, that is Kelurahan Bukit Batrem, Kelurahan Buluh Kasap, Kelurahan Jaya Mukti, Kelurahan Tanjung Palas, and Kelurahan Teluk Binjai. Samples was taken from citizen wells which was selected in random as many as 2 samples for each Kelurahan. Water quality from samples was measured based on Regulation of Minister for Public Health No:416/MEN.KES/PER/IX/1990. Result of this research showed that all of water sample from Dumai Timur District were improper in physical parameter because of the water were turbid.

The binary potential technique of interpolation (by [M. Riesz, Acta Math. 81 (1949) 1]) is applied to some well-known metrics of general relativity. These include Schwarzschild, de Sitter and [Formula: see text]-dimensional BTZ spacetimes. In particular, the Schwarzschild–de Sitter solution is analyzed in some detail with a finite range parameter. Reasoning by the high level of nonlinearity and absence of a superposition law necessitates searching for alternative approaches. We propose the method of interpolation between different spacetimes as one such possibility paving the way toward controling the two-metric system by a common parameter.
