This study tested 15 direct compaction grades to identify the contribution of different grades of mannitol to the storage stability of the resulting tablets. After preparing the model tablets with different values of hardness, they were stored at 25 °C, 75% relative humidity for 1 week. Then, measurement of the tablet properties was conducted on both pre- and post-storage tablets. The tablet properties were tensile strength (TS), friability, and disintegration time (DT). The experimental data were analyzed using a Kohonen self-organizing map (SOM). The SOM analysis successfully classified the test grades into three distinct clusters having different changes in the behavior of the tablet properties accompanying storage. Cluster 1 showed an obvious rise in DT induced by storage, while cluster 3 showed a substantial change in mechanical strength of the tablet including a reduction in the TS and a rise in friability. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using an Elastic net regression technique to investigate the general relationships between the powder properties of mannitol and the change behavior of the tablet properties. Consequently, we succeeded in identifying the crucial powder properties for the storage stability of the resulting tablets. This study provides advanced technical knowledge to characterize the effect of different direct compaction grades of mannitol on the storage stability of tablet properties.

The software and tools of DLP monitor and control endpoint activities, filter data streams on corporate networks, and monitor data in the cloud to protect data at rest, in motion, and in use. And in this study, we have designed the concept and draft scenarios of DLP for DataLake based on Abyss distributed storage cluster.

The dramatic increase of storage devices in distributed storage cluster system and the inherent characteristics of distributed deployment mode make network resources become one of the bottlenecks of data storage process. By analyzing the functional characteristics of data flow transmission of the components of the storage system, the network topology structure of the storage system is constructed, and the evaluation index of node flow load is put forward based on the degree centrality and the betweenness centrality theory of the network to explore the network topology and real-time flow characteristics. According to the evaluation index of node flow load, a network-aware data layout scheme is proposed. By balancing the flow load of bottleneck link, congestion and transmission delay can be reduced to further shorten the total task execution time and improve the efficiency of data writing.


With continuous growth in technology and quantum of data, many data mining algorithms are developed that uses micro array data to classify the genes and expressions in normal and disease conditions. There are many clustering algorithms that help to classify the genes and there is conflict in large pool of genes and their expression characters. The proposed system takes the input from multiple sources produces associate storage, cluster the information and classify it.

Tuntutan efisiensi dan High Availability (HA) pada sebuah virtual data center sebuah perusahaan sangatlah penting, salah satu produk solusi VMware yang menawarkan peningkatan HA adalah vSphere Metro Storage Cluster (vMSC) yang adalah sebuah solusi bersertifikasi vSphere yang menggabungkan replikasi dengan pengelompokan berbasis array. Selain itu terdapat solusi serupa yaitu Enhanced Linked Mode (ELM) yang mana digunakan untuk menghubungkan beberapa sistem Server vCenter bersama-sama dengan menggunakan satu atau beberapa Platform Services Controllers (PSC). Perbandingan keduanya dilakukan dengan menyesuaikan topologi yang adaDari perbandingan kedua solusi VMware tersebut, didapati keduanya mengalami down-time selama 2 detik ketika dilakukannya switchover. Keduanya pun meningkatkan dukungan HA yang baik namun secara konfigurasi ELM lebih unggul dikarenakan memiliki konfigurasi minimum. Hal tersebut menjadikan ELM lebih unggul karena mempermudah penembangan dalam menyesuaikan dengan topologi exsisting.

The dynamic data federation software Dynafed, developed by CERN IT, provides a federated storage cluster on demand using the HTTP protocol with WebDAV extensions. Traditional storage sites which support an experiment can be added to Dynafed without requiring any changes to the site. Dynafed also supports direct access to cloud storage such as S3 and Azure. We report on the usage of Dynafed to support Belle-II production jobs running on a distributed cloud system utilizing clouds across North America. Cloudscheduler, developed by the University of Victoria HEP Research Computing group , federates Openstack, OpenNebula, Amazon, Google, and Microsoft cloud compute resources and provides them as a unified Grid site which on average runs about 3500 Belle-II production jobs in parallel. The input data for those jobs is accessible through a single endpoint, our Dynafed instance. This Dynafed instance unifies storage resources provided by Amazon S3, Ceph, and Minio object stores as endpoints, as well as storage provided by traditional DPM and dCache sites. We report on our long term experience with this setup, the implementation of a grid-mapfile based X509 authentication/authorization for Belle-II access, and we show how a federated cluster can be used by Belle-II through gfalFS.
