In 2020 a number of areas in DKI Jakarta were hit by floods, one of which was the North Tanjung Duren Village, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta. The extreme rainfall of 377 mm/day has flooded almost all areas of DKI Jakarta and its surroundings. In addition, poor drainage causes water to stagnate, causing flooding. However, the absence of an early flood information system makes residents restless when the rainy season arrives. The Community Service (Community service activity) activity carried out aims to provide training to the community in the Tanjung Duren Utara Village area RW 04, RT 0010 regarding water level detection equipment placed in culverts. This tool serves to provide early information if the volume of water in the culvert is full of information in the form of a siren sound. The method used in this Community service activity activity is to provide online counseling and training to the community in RT 0010 / RW 04, North Tanjung Duren Village, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta. The results obtained are an increase in public understanding regarding the dangers of flooding to household electricity, as indicated by the results of the pre-test and post-test which are obtained an average of 43 and 90, respectively. Public understanding of the dangers of flooding to electricity has increased up to 109.3%. In addition, the average partner satisfaction with the material presented is 92%, this shows that the material presented by the presenters team is very useful for the extension participants.

Knowledge of diverse sexual motivations can have profound implications for our comprehension of the causes, correlations, and consequences of sexual behavior. This study had two objectives: on the one hand, to determine the different motives why young Spanish university students have sex and their relationship with different sociodemographic and psychosexual variables and sexual behavior; on the other hand, to review and improve the psychometric properties of the Sexual Motivations Scale and validate it in Spanish. Participants were 805 university students of both sexes (78% women, 74% heterosexuals), aged between 18 and 26 years (Mage = 20.88), who completed a battery of online questionnaires. Significant associations were found between young people's sexual motives, especially the motives of coping, peer pressure, and enhancement, the sociodemographic variables (sex, age sexual orientation, relational status), sexual behavior (age of initiation), and psychosexual variables (sociosexuality, self-esteem as a sexual partner, satisfaction with sex life). Also, a new structure of the Sexual Motivations Scale was proposed, with the elimination of the factor of Self-Affirmation. The discussion highlights the relevance of the results obtained due to their implications in the promotion of sexual health, in addition to achieving the first instrument validated in Spanish for the evaluation of sexual motivations.

Objective: The aim of this study is to retrospectively examine patient-partner satisfaction and changes in quality of life due to two-piece penile prosthesis implantation (PPI). There is no data about partner Quality of Life (QoL) related to two-piece PPI in the literature. Material and Methods: SF 36 scale and modified Erectile Dysfunction Inventory of Treatment Satisfaction (EDITS), which were filled before two-piece PPI and at the sixth postoperative month follow-up by male patients (n = 45) and female partners (n = 45), were evaluated. Results: We found patient-partner satisfaction rates as 80% and 86% respectively. The changes in all mean scores of SF 36 (mean total score, mean physical health score and mean mental health score) were statistically significant (p < 0.01). Again, the differences between all mean scores of SF 36 according to the level of patient-partner satisfaction were statistically significant (p < 0.01). Conclusions: Two-piece PPI is an important option for ED treatment. It provides significant improvement in patient-partner QoL with high treatment satisfaction.

Cawas Village has launched a Garbage Bank in every RW in its area, one of which is RW 09 Kuncen, which has succeeded in establishing the Manunggal Sejahtera Waste Bank. The focus of this program is the development of a waste bank to become the Parent Garbage Bank, both in management and in technical implementation. The objective of this activity is the compilation of the Cawas Village Kuncen Waste Bank Master Development Plan which is in line with the Cawas Village RPJMDes regarding waste management, both inorganic and organic. The Direct Action method is applied in community service programs by increasing management capabilities through socialization activities, training, practice, study visits, and Waste Bank Master planning documents preparation. The presence of the Covid-19 pandemic diverted some community empowerment activities to community efforts in overcoming Covid-19. Community empowerment is done online. The results achieved have not been optimal due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so that several strategic activities related to the initiation of the main waste bank development have been hampered. Some of the results were achieved, the agreement to build a waste bank was continued after the pandemic, a demonstration area for the reuse of waste as a planting place, preparation and implementation of an environmental competition for waste management, and activities to prevent the spread of Covid-19 (environmental sanitation and checking body temperature at the entrance to villages and mosques). The response of partner satisfaction to program implementation is above 80%, and 100% hope that it will continue

Information technology that is currently developing does not only apply to the world of information technology but has developed into other fields of work that require information technology to support the needs of their field. Services in information technology have been implemented by the District Internet Service Center (PLIK) Bangka Belitung to support government programs. Research conducted at PLIK aims to see and assess how PLIK's performance, especially Mobile PLIK, to the service level of their partners' satisfaction. During the PLIK research, researchers wanted to measure their level of service. The level of service that is measured is by looking at the implementation of the SLA (Service Level Agreement) that they have contracted with the user to what extent. So, the researchers took the data by observation, interviews, and questionnaires. After all, data is needed, the COBIT 4.0 Framework becomes a reference for researchers to examine this service level with the Delivery and Support (DS) domain on each item. The conclusion from the whole research process is that Mobile PLIK has measured their service maturity level (Maturity Level) at layer 4, namely Managed and Measurable. However, there are several districts that are still at layer 3, namely Define. Define that they have targeted and planned every measure of their work steps and of course they can improve the services provided to partners and be reciprocal to partner satisfaction with PLIK. Unlike the case with Define, layer 4 is Managed and Measurable, which means that Mobile PLIK has been organized and can be measured in conducting every agreement between partners and PLIK, so that its implementation can be accounted for every item in the domain.

Environmental decision-makers and practitioners need and deserve high-quality environmental evidence for effective decision-making. We collate and share a suite of best practices for applied environmental researchers to support their capacity to inform such decision-making processes. This raises a number of important questions: What does “relevant” and informative evidence look like? How do we know when evidence has been applied? We assembled an experienced team of knowledge generators and users in Canada to identify insights that have emerged from their work and that could serve as guideposts for others who seek to apply environmental research to policy challenges. By reflecting on successes and failures, we define “success” in applied environmental science as respectfully conducted, partner-relevant research that is accessible, understandable, and shared and that can create opportunities for change (e.g., in policy, behaviour, management). Next, we generated a list of best practices for delivering “successful” applied environmental research. Our guidance emphasizes the importance of engaging early and often, in a respectful manner, with partners, generating high-quality, relevant research (which requires flexibility), having a plan for communicating and sharing outputs, and being transparent about uncertainties and limitations. Other important considerations include acknowledging partners for involvement and training early career researchers in applied partnership research. Finally, we generated a list of specific, measurable indicators for evaluating success, including quality and quantity of scientific outputs, the relationship with the partner(s), relevance and connectedness of the research, accessibility and availability of outputs to users, provision of outputs that are digestible and usable by different audiences, training and capacity building, and ultimate outcomes (e.g., including social, environmental, and economic outcomes, as well as partner satisfaction). We encourage those embarking on applied environmental research to consider embracing the strategies, to continuously reflect on progress toward shared research goals, and to be flexible. Doing so will increase the likelihood of delivering research that is “successful” and in doing so contribute to overcoming and addressing environmental issues and problems.
