This paper aims to analyze the financial performance of industries of Bangladesh, which are performing a crucial role in the current economic development trend of the country. Heidelberg Cement Bangladesh Ltd, Crown Cement, Lafarge Holcim and Meghna Cements are selected for analysis for their 70% of market share coverage of the cement industry. Competency of selected leading four cement companies are looked over here with some financial parameters like Return on Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Earnings Per Share (EPS), Total Debt Ratio (TDR), Current Ratio (CR), Net Working Capital Ratio (NWCR), Assets Turnover Ratio (ATR) and mean value analysis technique. In preferred financial parameters and mean value analysis technique Heidelberg Cement Bangladesh Ltd has a good position, and in most cases, Meghna Cements obtained the lowest score. To attain desired efficacy in the cement industry of Bangladesh shortly, some prime recommendations such as reduction of production cost, prioritization on economies of scale, and business augmentation have come up here.

The dockless bike sharing system (DBSS) has been globally adopted as a sustainable transportation system. Due to the robustness and tractability of the closed queuing network (CQN), it is a well-behaved method to model DBSSs. In this paper, we view DBSSs as CQNs and use the mean value analysis (MVA) algorithm to calculate a small size DBSS and the flow equivalent server (FES) algorithm to calculate the larger size DBSS. This is the first time that the FES algorithm is used to study the DBSS, by which the CQN can be divided into different subnetworks. A parking region and its downlink roads are viewed as a subnetwork, so the computation of CQN is reduced greatly. Based on the computation results of the two algorithms, we propose two optimization functions for determining the optimal fleet size and repositioning flow, respectively. At last, we provide numerical experiments to verify the two algorithms and illustrate the optimal fleet size and repositioning flow. This computation framework can also be used to analyze other on-demand transportation networks.

The academic achievement is correlates of Psychological variables. This research work was conducted on a sample of 350 tribal and 350 non-tribal students studying in secondary schools in PANCHMAHALS district with a view to finding out the effect of the intelligence and academic motivation on their academic achievement of the pupils in tribal secondary schools in Gujarat, India. The sample was collected from the students of non-government high schools of tribal area district who significantly differ in their intelligence and academic motivation. Desai’s verbal-non verbal group test of intelligence was administrated to the students. Academic motivation test was developed by researcher and administrated to the students.  The students’ academic achievement tool is last preliminary examination score in March, 2011. The mean value analysis of significance of the mean difference and the values were calculated, other calculated is mean value analysis of variable and F-test. The findings show that there is no significant difference in the IQ and academic motivation of standard: X students in the secondary schools of tribal area of the PANCHMAHALS district, Gujarat-India.
