This research focused on how Tempo editors apply the principles of independence, maintain credibility, and maintain the integrity of journalists as a media business strategy in the digital age. It is no secret that in the media newsroom there are often conflicts, namely the pull between business interests and editorial attitudes. The opposition heats up as newsroom authorities deal with marketing, advertising sections, business development sections, as well as shareholders in news products. The purpose of this study is to see how the negotiation process and compromise the interests of it. At the end of the day, there are those who win and lose. Research using qualitative method with descriptive approach. In describing the findings, researchers will use inductive theory as a tool of hypothesis, observation, and analysis of Tempo practices applying independence in the influence of political economy structure. The researchers' findings state that in maintaining integrity as an effort to uphold the independence of Tempo is not easy to intervene by anyone when making a report on journalistic products.

This editorial aims to advance the use of qualitative research methods when studying entrepreneurship. First, it outlines four characteristics of the domain of entrepreneurship that qualitative research is uniquely placed to address. In studying these characteristics, we urge researchers to leverage the plurality of different qualitative approaches, including less conventional methods. Second, to help researchers develop high-level theoretical contributions, we point to multiple possible contributions, and highlight how such contributions can be developed through qualitative methods. Thus, we aim to broaden the types of contributions and forms that qualitative entrepreneurship research takes, in ways that move beyond prototypical inductive theory-building.

Fintechs, as providers of digital service innovations and as highly relevant and novel channels through which to deliver entrepreneurial finance based on the creative use of state-of-the-art technology in the financial domain, have thus far mainly been addressed in research by examining the functional aspects of their value propositions (VPs). This article thus sets out to gain insights into the interplay and overall role of societal VPs as potential antecedents and change catalysts in the formation of the often promised disruptive potential of fintechs for the financial sector. In an inductive, theory-building approach, the authors first examine how societal VPs transcend individual functional and emotional ones for entrepreneurs, and conclude with a conceptual model of how the former can build up the disruptive potential of fintechs and deliver apt solutions for entrepreneurs seeking finance.

Purpose Relying on the theoretical lens of a knowledge-based view, the purpose of this study is to explore the sources and roles of experiential knowledge in the rapid internationalisation of an emerging market-based micro export firms (EMMFs). Design/methodology/approach This is an inductive theory building study, which attempts to understand the “how” and “why” questions. In so doing, the study used nine micro export firms operating in the handicrafts sector of Nepal. Findings The findings suggest that internationalisation of resource-poor EMMFs relies on the entrepreneurs’ experiential knowledge, which is mainly acquired through prior experience, social networks and participation in international trade-fairs. Research limitations/implications This study contributes by formulating a number of propositions on the sources and roles of experiential knowledge, which could be tested in pursuit of theory building on micro firms’ internationalisation based in emerging markets. Originality/value The paper advances an understanding on the patterns of firms’ internationalisation, and discusses EMMFs’ possibilities to emerge as a faster internationalising firm, so-called “born globals”.

We present a preliminary theory of innovation in social work science. The focus of the piece is two case studies from our work that illustrate the social nature of innovations in the science of social work. This inductive theory focuses on a concept we refer to as transformative innovation, wherein two sets of individuals who possess different expertise and different network connections come together to solve a problem and in so doing transfer ideas from one network and field of expertise to the other. This transfer of ideas inevitably involves the transformation of ideas, such that the final innovation is something new to both groups of people, and as such innovative.

This study is based on library research through qualitative method research. The mutasyabih verses in Quran are greater in number than the muhkam (obvious meaning), it appears the various methods of ijtihad and method of thinking to explore the formulation of laws and wisdom. The conflict is raised as a consequent in misunderstanding of doctrine of ideological religion. Further, the Muslim peoples are dragged into radicalism and liberalism leads to monolithic prejudice, religion doctrine as the most right ones, making the Muslim peoples to be radical, terrorism with bombing, ideological violation, and intellectual violations. Obtained The Prophet Muhammad with al-Qiyas and istihsan, after he passed away, movement of thought and politic appears that in turn leads to raised conflict and clash. There are two power of manhaj al-fikr (method of thought) by the companions. First group observes that Islam as a rational religion and its law is contextual. This group has figure such as Imam Ibnu Mas’ud. Second group asserts Islam as a dogmatic religion with its law that is textual, and the figure of this group is Imam Ibnu Abbas. Although this movement is considered as movement in thought of Islamic law and law methodology, Ahl al-ra’y inspired by the thought of Ibn Mas‘ud and Ahl al-hadith inspired by the thought of Ibn ‘Abbas. Imam Abu Hanifah using inductive theory, as a follower of Ahl al-ra’y, developed a new theory istihsan by discarding the qiyas theory and practicing other primary method based on justice and truth. Meanwhile, Imam Syafi‘i using the deductive method came and formulated and developed the theories of usul fiqh systematically
