The analysis of studies on the problem of the formation of a new economy with the use of convergent (NBIC) technologies is carried out. The prevalence of overestimated expectations from the use of technologies of the 5th and 6th modes in the developed spheres of social systems activity was established, while ignoring or underestimating the possible negative consequences of their implementation. The necessity of implementing the concept of intellectual support in the activities of economic and social systems, including the components of predetermination, validity, permanence, adequacy, which form the prerequisites for the purposeful creation of intelligent products of a given functional purpose for all stages of the life cycle of innovative products, is shown.

A key issue that concerns governments is how to formulate optimal technology subsidies and green tax standards to promote the intelligent transformation of manufacturing enterprises. In this work, the Pollutant Emission Indicator Trading Mechanism (PEITM) is proposed, and green taxes are divided into Tax of Pollutant Emissions (TPE) and the Tax of Excess Pollutant Emissions (TEPE). On this basis, we study the impact of green taxes and technology subsidies on the intelligent transformation of enterprises in different manufacturing environments from the government’s perspective and provide the optimal government subsidy scheme under different green tax policies. Although it seems counter-intuitive, enterprises’ usual responses to increases in TPE and TEPE are non-monotonic. Moreover, we find a threshold effect for the government’s green taxation. Blindly increasing or reducing taxes may not promote intelligent transformation, but instead force enterprises towards negative choices. Lastly, an effective measure for the government to promote the intelligent transformation of manufacturing enterprises is proposed: by properly adjusting TPE and TEPE, governments can produce more cost-effective intelligent products than ordinary ones. Consequently, intelligent products will sell better than ordinary products, and manufacturing enterprises will be able to consciously carry out intelligent transformation to remain viable.

Abstract With the rapid development of wireless communication and Internet of things, intelligent products have been widely used in living and industrial places. The purpose of this paper is to develop an intelligent controller and intelligent lock cabinet for the monitoring of optical cable handover box. It can monitor the temperature, humidity, fire, flood, vibration and the identity of the personnel in and out of the optical cable box, and send the data information to the management server through wireless communication, so as to realize the purpose of monitoring and management of the optical cable box. The products under development include intelligent controllers, smart keys and electronic locks. The smart key is used in conjunction with the electronic lock.

With the continuous development of intelligent product interaction technology, the facial expression design of virtual images on the interactive interface of intelligent products has become an important research topic. Based on the current research on facial expression design of existing intelligent products, we symmetrically mapped the PAD (pleasure–arousal–dominance) emotion value to the image design, explored the characteristics of abstract expressions and the principles of expression design, and evaluated them experimentally. In this study, the experiment of PAD scores was conducted on the emotion expression design of abstract expressions, and the data results were analyzed to iterate the expression design. The experimental results show that PAD values can effectively guide designers in expression design. Meanwhile, the efficiency and recognition accuracy of human communication with abstract expression design can be improved by facial auxiliary elements and eyebrows.

AbstractEngineering Digitalization enables development of new high intelligent products containing mechanical, electrical, software and communication components. As these complex products are result of multidisciplinary engineering processes, digitalization also enforces companies to raise, adapt and revise their engineering competencies and process capabilities to increase agility and maintain competitiveness. Also, the growing amount of data related to product and processes requires a well-structured management concept. In order to encounter all these changes and new requirements companies should identify their specific strengths and weaknesses and derive needs for action. This paper presents a novel maturity model for evaluation of capabilities of Engineering Digitalization in areas of processes, products, services, data, human and organization. The maturity model enables the detection of enhancement potentials and conception of individual digitalization plans for production companies. It has been composed based on a proven multidisciplinary engineering methodology along the product lifecycle process, which includes Model Based Systems Engineering Methods, and a multilevel IT architecture integration concept.

To solve the problem of the fuzzy and dynamics of requirement caused by users’ cognitive bias, a dynamic requirement and priority capture method based on user scenarios is proposed, aiming at effectively improving user experience. The method consists of the following steps: Firstly, users with similar characteristics are filtered to form a user cluster, then obtain the user’s product experience in different usage scenarios and acquire preliminary requirements by using service design methods. Secondly, the requirement path model tree will be designed and the requirement path matrix will be constructed through the evaluation of the user cluster. Then the pathfinder algorithm will be used to calculate the required correlation of user clusters and prioritize the requirements. Finally, the direction of the product design will be provided. Taking the design of the intelligent office chair as an example, the effectiveness of the method is verified by evaluating the satisfaction of user experience.

As a service-oriented and leisure-oriented industry in China, the tourism industry is a pillar industry for the national economic development. With the continuous promotion and development of information technology, the development of online tourism has become more and more popular and online tourism intelligent products purchasing intention research has become an important direction. Combining China’s current national conditions, the survey of online tourism intelligent product purchase intentions was conducted around the ancient city of Dujiangyan by using the technology acceptance model and fuzzy theory. The results show that the satisfaction attitude of tourists directly affects the behavior intention of tourists. Satisfaction attitude plays a mediating role in the relationship between objective reality perception and behavioral intention. Satisfaction attitude plays a mediating role in the relationship between the existence of authenticity perception and behavior intention. The conclusions obtained from this study are of great significance to improve the satisfaction of tourists, the purchase intention of online tourism intelligent products and promote the sustainable development of block tourism.
